SMA Outpatient – Palatka Detox and Rehab Services

What SMA Outpatient – Palatka offers, on record, is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Mental health and substance use are handled together rather than in sequence. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

You would think, being a mental health facility that is supposed to be there to help people, they'd have front desk help that is actually kind and helpful. Instead they act as if you are an inconvenience and treat you… like you are nothing. When you call they act as if you are interrupting something. The awful part is, people care coming to you to get help and when you're rude to them they decide not to reach out and get help and who knows what that could lead to. SMA get better front desk people. Do better!!

The people answering the phones are worthless they make you feel like you're bothering them all I can say is if you don't like you're job find another one or at least try to do a better job. Most people are calling… because they need help .
