I can say they are quick and effective in diagnosing you if you are in need to treatment, and immediately prescribe your medications like my suboxones with no problems, special thanks to Dr. Rowland, and Kaydee you… women are awesome.

This place gave me my life back and the people there genuinely want to help you get back to your best self. I truly enjoy seeing them monthly.

Love the staff they're all very compassionate about your sobriety. I've gained more positive coping skills and have been able to stay sober longer than any other facility I've tried! Thank you so much for helping us… live a better life

The Dr is amazing women

As a cash pay patient with no insurance, I was told the cost was $300 per month to be deducted from the debit card I had to provide to make an appointment. I was billed $300 on Jan 21st then again $300 on Feb14 (21 days… later). When asked why, billing rudely told me it was because I was scheduled for two appointments my first week of admitting. I'm not the one who asked for the appointments so that means it's not what they had told me the cost was ($75 a week) it's $100 a week. Don't give them access to your money if you're going to make come here

I've been going to spero for for 5 years and I love all the people that work there and even though some have come and gone they still care about me and my recovery. One thing I wish could change is that I would love to… see my Dr face to face instead of over the phone and computer. Other than that I love everything about spero

Its a year later since first review and I'm still at Spero. I still can tell you a 1000 good reasons why you should come here. These people really care and if they can't do what you need they will find so.e place that… can for you. This was the best thing I ever did for myself and my family. Because of this place I have my life back. I even got off of meth. I have been clean for a few years now and when I am struggling in any way I can have a one on one with the therapist or an extra group. I trust these people and it's anonymous too. But they even helped me get my apartment. I wouldn't have given you 50 cents for my life before but now I am doing well. Anyone struggling please give them a try. They are very understanding and caring. I also relapsed a couple of times but they helped me get back on track and I now know more about myself and have more self-esteem than I ever have. Thank You Spero Health. I love you guys.

If it wasn't for Reggie and Dr Shockley I would have found another clinic. Reggie is the most amazing person I have met while I've been in treatment. Spero is super lucky to have him and I mean that from the bottom of… my heart. Thanks for all you do!!!!

After reading through all the reviews on here, I had to double check to make sure I was on the right page because my own experience has not been entirely pleasant. While several on their staff are dipped in awesome… sauce wonderful, there are others I have seen (& heard) go out of their way to belittle & mock patients they don't like personally; ones who seem to be having a rough time of it. I've seen a counselor kick Girl 1 out of group, said she wasn't scheduled, but let Girl 2, also not scheduled, remain in the group. When Girl 1 left, counselor made a disgusted face & told the group that she "couldn't stand that girl" along with a snarky comment that became the group topic for the day. I have also seen people at the front desk deny patients their appointments & meds just for being a little late, then refusing to work with the for a reasonable reschedule date, then laughing while they gossip about them after they leave angry or crying. Just my opinion, but those things (& a host of stories I've heard from other patients) make this place a judgemental & toxic environment for recovery. A place where one employee's pettiness on a bad day can ultimately set a patient on the road to relapse, the very thing Spero is NOT supposed to do!! Dont get me wrong, the medicine they provide (Suboxone) is a life changing, miracle drug; without it, my life would most likely be circling the proverbial drain by now. However, dealing with the constant stress & uncertainty that came with Spero & their handful of spiteful staff members there was nearly enough to make me want to run from there after my appointments & head straight to my old dude's house to wash away the negative, hateful feelings that place let me with. I am serious about my recovery so i finally decided to go elsewhere for treatment. Now I am truly in an environment that encourages instead of judging and never makes me feel like a hated piece of sh*t for no reason. if anyone else is having issues with treatment at Spero, I encourage you to look elsewhere as there are many options in Owensboro alone and you deserve to be received with kindness & compassion!

Do you want your life back? They treat you like family as soon as you enter their doors! They have an amazing staff of people right there ready to help. All you gotta do is make the call!

I came to this place when I had no where else to go. Weeks long waits at all other addiction clinics. I called and explained my situation to them and within minutes they had me an appointment for the same day. All fear… of judgement disappeared the minute I walked through the door. I was greeted with some of the most caring staff that you could hire. I felt comfortable through the entire process and never felt like I was being judged at all. Both the doctor and therapy aspect of the treatment has literally saved my life. I would recommend this place to anybody who is seeking help.

Great place, great staff, very friendly and helpful.... They have really helped me out a lot with multiple areas of my life and have shown me ways to stay focused and stick to my sobriety and we'll being. Coolest people… ever, no lie.
