Benzodiazepine Rehab Centers in Rhode Island

Benzodiazepine rehab centers in Rhode Island range from outpatient prescribers who supervise a slow taper to intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs, medically monitored withdrawal management and residential care. Listings for this term gather around Providence, with others in Pawtucket, North Kingstown, Westerly and Exeter.

RehabSeekers.com builds each listing from government treatment registers, state licensing records, accreditor listings and details the providers themselves supply. Each one shows levels of care, payment types, insurers, accreditation, languages and populations served. Nothing here replaces advice from the clinician who prescribes your medication. Nobody should stop a benzodiazepine suddenly in order to qualify for a program.

Common questions about Benzo Rehab

Answered from what is listed here.

Which Rhode Island cities have benzo rehabs?

Benzo rehabs in Rhode Island cluster in Providence, then North Kingstown, Pawtucket, Westerly and Exeter. Residents of South Kingstown or Coventry can weigh programs in those towns as well. Because withdrawal from benzodiazepines can need medical oversight, ask the admissions team whether a program manages tapering on site before enrolling.

Rehab Centers in Providencehttps://rehabseekers.com/locations/us/rhode-island/providence-ri/
Do benzo rehabs in Rhode Island accept Medicaid?

UnitedHealthcare of New England is one plan through which Rhode Island Medicaid members get coverage, alongside Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island. Most of the benzo rehabs in Rhode Island record accepting Rhode Island Medicaid, and coverage follows the plan a member is enrolled in, so confirm network status before admission.

Rehab Centers in Rhode Island That Accept RIte Carehttps://rehabseekers.com/locations/us/rhode-island/rite-care/
Are there benzo rehabs near the beach in Rhode Island?

Nearly all of the benzo rehabs in Rhode Island have a beach within 25 miles, and the median distance to the nearest beach is about 3.0 miles from a listed facility. Frank Moody State Beach, Twin Rivers Beach and Plum Beach are the most-named.

Proximity to water says nothing about clinical services. When comparing programs, weigh withdrawal management, level of care and payment options first, then ask intake staff about the surroundings if setting matters.

Rehab Centers Near Beacheshttps://rehabseekers.com/attractions/beaches/

Is it safe to stop taking benzodiazepines on my own?

No, stopping a benzodiazepine suddenly is not safe in Rhode Island or anywhere else, because withdrawal can include seizures. Any reduction should be a gradual taper planned with the prescriber or a medical team, and the pace differs from person to person, often running over weeks to months rather than a set number of days.

Since 2020, federal labeling for these medications has carried a boxed warning about dependence and withdrawal. A clinical assessment decides whether a Rhode Island patient tapers at home with a prescriber or in medically monitored withdrawal management; a program’s calendar should not make that call.

Mixing benzodiazepines with opioids or alcohol raises the risk of dangerously slowed breathing, and pills sold outside a pharmacy as alprazolam can be counterfeit, containing fentanyl or other sedatives. In an emergency, call 911 and give naloxone if opioids may be involved; naloxone does not reverse a benzodiazepine but can still help when opioids are part of the mix.
