Honestly, I'm so happy I found you guys. I moved up here unexpectedly 9 months ago and I was full of anxiety about my meds and moving. I called them and they literally got me in the next day at 5:30 AM! I was floored.… All the staff is amazing. They never judge. Kyle is great and even tho I had to go once a week for a month or two, he trusted me enough to do once a month. I've been doing great ever since. Been going to this place for 5 years never had a dirty urinalysis missed a single appointment Finn had my take homes revoked I then told her I couldn’t get there every day then. “Finn” says ok so you wanna go ama ? No i… never said anything about going AMA .. to sum it up . This place is not recommended if you’re seeking treatment BHG doesn’t care about its patients BHG only cares about their next dollar . I was looking for support and this facility was recommended. I had been recently diagnosed with cancer and decided that going back on Suboxone would be beneficial during this time. My experience so far has been terrible… with the exception of the receptionist. The receptionist is kind, professional and helpful. I am a peer recovery specialist from NJ. I worked for a well respected company named CARES. My intake counselor was named Finn. She's obviously been there too long and forgot what it means to want to help people. During my intake I was told the dates of my past history didn't matter and we could hurry up to get this over with. That was a red flag. She also disclosed another client's drug history stating ours was similar. That's definitely against the law. That was my first visit. I'm a second chance kind of person. On my next visit I was rushed and bombarded and treated like I was beneath her. I don't know exactly what her deal is. Customer service doesn't seem to be for her. I can tell she's definitely burnt out. If you treat people poorly and your supposed to be apart of a support system for people....it may be time for change...meaning a career change. Remember to humble yourself every once in a while! Here's a reminder Finn, I don't need you or the company you work for. I can take myself and my insurance elsewhere. Why are you so rude???? Who hurt you??? It wasn't me, lady. I'll be looking elsewhere for treatment 🙂
I actually have mostly good experiences at this establishment. There are always bumps in the road in this type of environment but the people that choose to stay and work here, truly care and become close to their… patients. My counselor, Finn, (BIG snaps to her 🫰🏼🫰🏼) has bent over backwards for me more than once, because she has seen how hard I have been working and the progress I’ve made. So she fights for me. If you are trying your best and showing steady improvement, they WILL reward that. Recently, I attended a new monthly crafting class with Finn and Christina (definitely more snaps for Chris too!🫰🏼🫰🏼). We had so much fun! So unexpected. We laughed at each others mistakes, talked about our experiences and pains we’ve gone through, etc. It was therapeutic and the best way I can wrap that session up is by saying I got to my car then realized I walked all the way there with a cheesy smile on my face. It felt good. If you are looking for treatment however, this place cares more than a lot of others may. (I have guest dosed at a few other methadone clinics in the past throughout my sober journey)
Finn is a knowledgeable, honest and empathic counselor. Her dedication to helping those in the Westerly area is admirable. She makes time to listen to her clients and be there for them. Finn has helped me process past… traumas and was there for me while I was grieving a close family member. I am forever grateful!
I guest dose for a wk every year in R.I. & this is the cleanest, friendliest & the most comfortable one I have every been to. I have guest dose in allot of places & this is by far the best one.. thx you...
