Centerstone – Clarksville Reviews and Ratings
Before contacting Centerstone, it can help to read how patients and their families describe the program. Their reviews are collected in this section, along with reviews from around the web.
Have been going to Centerstone for 5 years. First thing, their provider over medicated. I could not figure out why I was so tired all the time. I eventually went to my PCP (thinking I have a brain tumor or something… lol) and they slowly tapered me off some and I finally started to feel alive again. Secondly, their therapy is mediocre. I went today and my therapist cut my appointment ten minutes in after I told her my stressor of moving the beginning of next month. She said she couldn’t help me because I was moving. I was seeing her weekly. So now I’m without a therapy for 4+ weeks
The only reason 1 star is given is because 0 isn’t an option. This place is a joke. They have no consideration for anyone. Zero empathy. I had a zoom meeting (because I didn’t have a car) my med provider never showed… up. I couldn’t get refills on my meds because they said I didn’t show up. I even called a few minutes after the appointment time to see what was going on and they told me I missed it. I was trying to schedule another appointment but they refused to do it by zoom. While I’m on the phone with 10 different people being transferred here and there, crying because I wasn’t okay and needed help and no one would help me. They wanted me in office. As a result of not having my medication and them transferring me here and there messed with my mental health and I lost it on them. Yes I was wrong but I begged multiple people for help and no one cared. So as a result of my choice of words when in a crisis, I was let go from the facility as well as my wife and son. Although just a couple days prior I had my son in office and had no issues. i have been a patient for 15 years or more and they never gave me a problem. So…they discharged a mental health patient in a crisis begging for help. After reading other reviews I know I’m not the only one.
Case workers manipulated my parents into sending me to a in-patient hospital in Chattanooga, where they threw different medication at me until one morning I had a seizure, once this happened they did not inform my… parents and I did for the 15 minute phone call they allowed us to have, If you have children do not take them here
Dr. Hollie and Jenetta are always awesome. Been coming for different issues for almost 4 years now and they saved my life in so many ways.
Not sure why all the negative reviews. Came in today for the first time and didn't have a single bad experience
Just now got a call 📞 and they said something like staffing or insurance etc , useless And you wonder why when people ask for help they dont get it . #22haillugi
Have been going to centerstone for almost 8 years now, and I gotta say, I've really only had good experiences here. I was admitted as a young teenager and Centerstone and its providers really helped me understand myself… and the world around me. My therapy and diagnoses recieved here changed my life for the better, and I've been improving ever since. Everyone's experiences are different though. My brother had one bad experience with one therapist, but otherwise good interactions with his second, and he made some major improvements. You may not have all good experiences here, and it may take some effort to find providers you like and can work effectively with, but overall I think the quality of care provided here is well worth trying for.
Dr. Schumacher is the best psych I've ever had which is why I gave 2 stars. She is the only reason I stay with Centerstone because their front desk staff and customer service is the absolute worst. Again I love my psych… but if you want to feel welcome in the lobby I wouldn't go here.
They hung up on me because nobody is considerable enough to take a zoom meeting instead of an office one. I don’t have a car. This is the third time of this center FAILING ME!!! I’ve been trying to get back into the… program bc I left the state. Took a Dr to even get meds; they didn’t tell me it took 3 therapy sessions to see a psychiatrist. Yeah. TERRIBLE place. They clearly don’t care.
Checked my friend in with in a day she’s called telling us this place feels demotic. They didn’t let her have anything but clothes and a book when over the phone they said she could bring shampoo and stuff. During check… in one of the ladies was rude and just seemed like she wanted to get it over with. My friend called our foster mom and one of the staff had an attitude to my friend that was in there and our foster mom. It was to the point where my friend had to check her self out because she was in tears. We are going to another facility for help due to this one made her feel worse
Your staffing is atrocious. The second I’m able to get away from this clinic for treatment elsewhere cannot come soon enough. You have people answering the phone like they’re miserable and hate their lives to be at… work. None of your staff have training and are disgustingly rude.
This place is a joke.
Great teams there, great Doctors and they care a great deal about helping. I 🤔 think there good at what they do.
Centerstone is so amazing. They have a lot of resource that they have case management so you can have a caseworker and then they also do parenting classes They do anger management as well They also have good Therapist… and you can also pick up your medication there too
I’ve been going here ever since I was a child, the staffs quality has degraded tremendously. My provider is purposely not prescribing me adderall after I passed an assessment and provided an outside doctor's note from… said assessment. Before this decision was made, I asked her how I could get a diagnosis elsewhere (for whatever reason, centerstone can’t seem to make ADHD diagnosis) after I finally took the time to get the diagnosis, she completely downplayed my concerns of having the it. “It’s not gonna help you take your antidepressants”. When ADHD is literally the source of poor executive functioning (execution of daily tasks) ??? This place is full of people who don’t care about your best interests or needs. 💯💯
I have mixed feelings about Centerstone. I decided to give a 2 star review because ultimately, when I needed help they got it for me but I had a few psych providers, lots of med changes, but nothing ever actually helped… me. So I chose to stop for now, until I can find a place to diagnose me properly and not just guess. I also have not had good luck with actual counselors from this establishment. It took months and months to get okayed for counseling, and they weren't any good for my issue.
Everyone was very welcoming and professional. Highly recommend dr.Heartman for special needs individuals.
I have been taking my nephew here to see providers and so far I can say the customer service was OK until today 8/21/25. I ended up going back to the facility because I needed a form signed for my nephew, but for some… reason, the lady at the window next to where you check in when you first come in, decided to have a attitude when I was asking if a Nurse could fill out the form so I could return it back to his school. I waited for a few moments then I went back to the window and asked her for his form. She immediately started, rolling her eyes and then tr ied to smile after saying if you leave it here I can have it filled out and they will fax it and then continue rolling her eyes so I politely told her no ma’am I will bring it back on my time and have it filled out. I don’t understand why she would continue being rude and being smiled as if she done nothing wrong. This is why I don’t like to deal with a lot of places because they don’t know how to conduct themselves in a decent way. She could have avoided everything just by keeping her smart tone and rolling her eyes to herself body language speak louder than words.
I attended this clinic for a year and a half and this clinic enjoys violating the confidentiality rights of the patient. They enjoy talking with there co workers and the problems there patients are trying to get help… with.
Time spent at Centerstone: Almost 2yrs. Window workers: polite, and pleasant always Pharmacy staff: thoughtful, low wait time, addressed by name, ensures you are aware of proper use of all your meds, always allows for… questions or concerns. My personal support circle: Always open to my state of emotions, and adjust my visits to meet my over all needs. This makes every visit productive, positive, and rewarding to be a part of the center. Centerstone's overall rating from me, with reflections of every situation experienced in my nearly 2year span in their care, is without a doubt, well pass 10 Gold ⭐ s. Centerstone *A personal God-sent Support System

Centerstone is a wonderful organization that truly cares about the people they serve. Although everyone's experience is different depending on their situation, I have seen so many people in my area benefit from their services. If you or someone you know is in need of behavioral health services, give your local Centerstone office a call. They are great folks that are truly there to help you!
