Nothing beats the community here. Recovery is possible and places like this show that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I had a wonderful dinner and screening of the movie SOBER at the Red Door. Beautiful and spiritual gorgeous Treatment Center, up in the hills between Sherman Oaks and Beverly Hills. Thank you Sandy and Emily for such a… wonderful gathering!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤗🙏🏼
What a great place to heal and grow in recovery. The people are amazing and the fellowship is loving! Sunday dinner was beyond amazing! Something I’ve never experienced before in my life.
Red Door Life embodied the experience of community, recovery, and connection. I was brought by a friend to one of their Sunday Dinners (which are free and open to all) and spent the whole evening laughing with the… incredible staff including the Director Sean Patrick, and you could feel the love emanate from the staff like Colin and Alex, to the chef’s Michelin level cuisine. Red Door Life isn’t a treatment center, it’s an experience and one I recommend everyone have the opportunity to enjoy. They love unabashedly, they welcome warmly, and they feed deliciously :) Much love, NPM
Great place with great people who are dedicated to helping other people👍
I’ve had the opportunity to spend time at this facility through community gatherings and events, and I’m consistently impressed by the atmosphere they’ve created. The space itself is beautiful, calm, and thoughtfully… designed, but what truly stands out is the warmth and professionalism of the staff and leadership.
Red Door is the most amazing experience. The love that surrounds you provides the safety to do the work needed to live a fulfilling life. Myself, and both my son and daughter have had the privilege of being in this… sacred space, and use what we have learned to continue to serve others. I will forever be grateful.
This “rehab” allowed my family member who struggles with addiction to get high the entire time she was in treatment. Please believe the accusations in the Hollywood reporter article. I have seen these unethical… practices myself. My family member who attended this rehab was high to the point where she was constantly shaking, could hardly walk and could hardly form a sentence the whole time she was there. At first I chalked it up to withdrawals, but she recently started attending a legitimate rehab and was back to her normal self within 3 days. I also heard rumors of a couple allegedly using amphetamines while in treatment at red door. Red door is extremely expensive, and they take advantage of wealthy individuals who are struggling with addiction by enabling them while they pay tens of thousands of dollars to attend this facility. The red door scammed my family member out of thousands all while worsening her addiction problems. I cannot believe this place is still allowed to operate and the people running it should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
I have unfortunately been to multiple treatment centers in my life as growing up during the opiate epidemic. My friends and I going in our parents and grandparents medication cabinets trying hydrocodone, percocet,… roxycodone etc. An our parents and grandparents at the time left all their old prescriptions in the cabinet as oxy anything was considered non addictive. Little did we know and they know that we were all eating different prescriptions
I was someone really in need of help and a place to go. Red Door Life was extremely unprofessional, they said I could come tour it and the day of they ignored me. They completely ghosted me (ignored me and never got… back to me). I just think this place is so unprofessional with the way they do intakes. luckily, I found somewhere to go, but the fact that I was struggling and in need and they were not there to help or provide speaks a lot. Replying to their comment: that is a bold face lie. Obviously if they had reached out to me I wouldn’t have felt the need to write this review. I am the one who left them voicemails and text messages and no response.
I recommend folks “Google” Red Door Bel Air. The Folks I know in Law Enforcement think it’s not the Best Option for your struggling Loved One.
We truly cannot speak highly enough of Red Door Life - it’s an amazing place. Their caring dedication and individualized, focused attention is both praise-worthy and effective. They have background and knowledge that… leads to results. The good people of Red Door Life are ever-vigilant and have only your best interest in mind. They do not give up on you. Even if you relapse, you are welcomed back. We have not encountered any other rehab that stands by you if you slip up. Our son has been to many and none are like the Red Door. They truly are a healing community. We can’t speak highly enough of Berni, Alex, Charles, and the rest of the team. They are always there for the client and the clients family. The staff immediately volunteered and handled major tasks for us after a relapse, sparing us a great deal of travel and work. They helped our son get sober and saved his life more than once. Weekly Family Group therapy sessions provided by the Red Door have been a source of comfort and education for us. On Sundays they open their doors to anyone for an amazing dinner. It is a great time to visit their facilities and find out about their community. They are like family to us. The journey you are on will likely not end quickly, but it can end well. Red Door Life can show you the way. They certainly did so for us.
These guys offer proven solutions! Having been in recovery since 1985, meeting with Nancy Reagan to help kick off the WAR ON DRUGS in that same year, as a former Director of the Dallas 24 Rehab and spokesperson for both… the Salvation Army and LA County rehabilitation services and also a graduate, assist US Army vets in recovery and chair AA/NA Thursdays at USC,.....Red Door Life offers the best, logical help for families and individuals! 👍👍🫂📘📘📘📘 📙📙📙📙
The Red Door is a community of kind and caring people who work together to help those struggling with addiction. But it is so much more. We have been part of this community for several years now and they have become… family… but better. We love you Red Door!
First off today I am 1 year sober, happier, healthier and in love with my life again. I am so thankful to Red Door for my new life. The individual and specialized care I got was beyond incredible. I was completely cared… for in ways I never experienced. The owners and staff are top notch along with the group leaders. I came out of Red Door with the most amazing out look and feeling about starting a sober life moving forward. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Please, if anyone is hurting or needs help reach out and get the best help possible.
The best staff—genuine, caring, and compassionate. Beautiful space and supportive environment. At other facilities, I saw friends die after being kicked out of other sober living homes. Red Door doesn’t do that; they… stand by you no matter what. They provide consistent support and help each individual recover and heal, regardless of the challenges. Their model truly saves lives and embraces people without judgment. Highly recommend Red Door.
Red Door is a great place for anyone looking to improve their life whether that be freedom from substance abuse, mental health, or dual diagnosis. I’ve made some great friends that I still keep in touch with, including… staff at Red Door. They will get you back into the real world so that you can start living your best life again.
I am such an advocate of the Red Door! I love how they make it a part of the community so all the clients can see how one can live their life sober and be joyous happy And free. I have been sober a very long time and I… even got my niece to stay at the Red Door and she got sober and is now sober one day at a time.. coming up on one year and it was all because of the Red Door and their incredible team. I visit often on Sundays for their dinners that are open to the community ..anybody and all are welcome. What a gift The Red Door is to all..
My name is Mark Rhodes. I’ve been to several treatment facilities all over the country. Passages in Ventura, CA, Palm Partners in Del Ray Beach, FL, and La Jolla Recovery in San Diego are just a few names on the long… list. I have been a client of the Red Door community since March 1st, 2024. I came in with some severe problems and I didn’t think I was fixable at all. I still needed to get out of my toxic lifestyle in Miami, so my mom, Liz Rhodes, told me to come here because it was “time” for me to get better. I’ve lost many close friends, roommates, and girlfriends to overdose and suicide. I suffer from PTSD related to finding my little brother dead, alcoholism, addiction, and anxiety. Some of the problems I dealt with regarding the loss of my only sibling consisted of anger, self destruction, depression, survivors guilt, and most importantly a term I learned here at the Red Door… detachment. On the night, my brother died, I felt massively responsible for his death. My dad called me that night and told me he was going to die… He told me that I needed to watch him every second. I tracked his phone and I saw that he was at his drug dealer‘s house… I did not watch him every second, I did not check his pockets for drugs, I let him walk into the room, and I never checked them once. Why would I do something like this? I truly didn’t know what was wrong with me, and there was no chance I would ever have forgiven myself. I was convinced that due to my actions, I would endure a life of misery as karma. Two incredible members of the Red Door staff, Katie & Bernadine, helped me understand what actually happened to me the night my brother passed away. I was so detached from my body the entire night. I did not understand the concept of detachment at the time, but I completely understand it now. I would have lived my entire life hating myself if it wasn’t for this place. This place saved me. This place gave me a chance at a beautiful future. I now have an amazing relationship with my mom and with my dad. I am able to laugh, cry, feel, have fun, and I don’t carry that burden around anymore. This place is something you couldn’t even dream of. Truly the best treatment in the world. Attached is a handwritten letter minutes after I got finished the most powerful, life changing therapy session.
Red Door Life offers the world's best treatment because it refuses to follow traditional treatment protocols. Traditional approaches fail at an alarming rate. Committed to innovation, testing and proving the impossible… in substance and mental health recovery, Red Door Life is the only treatment system that stops at nothing to help their clients. Anything or any combination of things could work for an individual and they will leave no stone unturned. If help is possible they will find it. No place is a guarantee, but your chances go way up at Red Door Life. Blending 30+ years experience with a relentless passion for individualized results, this team never gives up on anyone. Their core model centers around life-long connection, and the evidence is its vibrant alumni community, its shining star. I am a proud client of Red Door Life, where I received trauma treatment after the loss of my son four years ago and later for putting alcohol permanently behind me. My standards are as high as they come, and I remain blown away by the leadership, staff, and vision for growth so they can offer more help to more people. My name, my brand and my gratitude extend to Red Door Life. Liz Rhodes Founder Safeguards
Choosing Red Door Life Treatment Center was a life-changing decision. From my very first day, their unique approach to individualized care created a warm and welcoming environment that played a crucial role in my… recovery from crystal meth addiction. At Red Door, every aspect of the treatment is tailored to meet personal needs and heal the root causes of addiction. The team at Red Door is exceptional. Charles and Monique stood out for their deep commitment to personal healing. Their compassion and understanding helped me navigate the complexities of my addiction, providing the support I needed to heal physically, mentally, and emotionally. Including the 12 Step Program in my recovery plan further enhanced my journey, offering a structured and supportive pathway to sobriety. The grounds of the treatment center, meticulously maintained by Kyle and RJ, are nothing short of breathtaking. The serene and beautifully landscaped gardens provided a perfect, peaceful backdrop for reflection and recovery. The views from the facility are stunning, contributing to a sense of tranquility that promotes healing. Safety and security are paramount at Red Door, and I always felt completely safe within their care. This sense of security allowed me to focus entirely on my recovery without any external worries. I give Red Door Life Treatment Center a 5 out of 5 stars for their outstanding care, beautiful environment, and their unwavering commitment to helping individuals like myself reclaim their lives. Thank you, Red Door, for giving me and my husband a new beginning. And for allowing our dogs to join us in our treatment journey.
Red Door Life’s focus on community really makes it stand out as a treatment center. Concierge services, Sober companions, great amenities, pets allowed. Red Door goes above and beyond for those in recovery and for the… family members/friends who are on the difficult journey with those afflicted with addiction.
My son had an amazing experience at Red Door Life. After over 10 failed attempts at other rehabs, he was finally able to get sober. Red Door offers a truly individualized program and a community that the client and the… family remain part of forever.
Best treatment center in LA!!!
Red Door Life is the best in class. I have never met a community that radiates patience, love, kindness and tolerance in such a unique and special way. I will be forever grateful for having had the privilege to be… involved in their journey of helping those in need.
I have seen nothing but kindness and the highest quality of care. I can't recommend Red Door enough.
