⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Michael's House Outpatient Treatment Center offers a really well-rounded approach to recovery. One thing I appreciate is that there are two different levels of programming depending on the amount of support you… need: PHP, which consists of 6 hours of programming with a half-hour lunch provided, and IOP, which is 4 solid hours of programming without a lunch break. The programming includes a variety of groups that address different parts of recovery, including Somatics, DBT, Mindfulness, and Process Group. Process Group is especially valuable because it consists of two hours of smaller group therapy with your therapist, allowing for more personal and in-depth conversations. Outside of groups, Michael's House provides case management and individual therapy, along with access to psychiatric and medical providers. There are also educational groups covering a wide variety of topics and real-life issues that may come up throughout someone's recovery journey. Recovery involves so much more than simply addressing one problem—it also means learning how to navigate life moving forward. Another thing that stands out is the specialty programming. Outside community resources are brought in to educate clients on important topics. For example, DAP Health has provided education surrounding sexual wellness, while PNC Bank has helped teach financial wellness. Having community organizations come in makes the program feel more connected to life outside of treatment and provides tools that can actually be used after leaving. There is also a separate campus for housing, which adds another important part to the experience. During your free time, you have opportunities to begin reintegrating into the real world instead of feeling completely isolated from it. You can explore different recovery meetings in the area, meet people within the local recovery community, and start creating a strong support system outside of treatment. I think that's extremely valuable because eventually treatment ends, and having a community and support network already forming can make that transition feel much more manageable. It gives you the chance to practice recovery in everyday life while still having the structure and support of the program behind you. There are also some staff members who deserve special recognition: Kenn — He has the kind of personality that can make even the most mundane topic interesting and enjoyable. He knows how to keep people engaged while still making sure there's something meaningful to take away from the group. Teddy — The Alumni Coordinator who plans weekly events off campus. His sense of humor brings light to every trip, and the outings give people an opportunity to have fun, connect with others, and experience recovery outside of a clinical setting. Dee — A pit bull of a case manager in the best possible way. She will help you fight for what you want and need and genuinely advocates for the people she works with. She is a true humanitarian who cares about helping people move forward. Jesus — One of the realest therapists you will ever meet. He has an incredible balance between humor and seriousness and seems like he has seen it all. His compassion, understanding, and willingness to help are off the charts. He knows when to make you laugh, when to challenge you, and when to simply listen. Overall, Michael's House offers much more than just hours of programming. Between therapy, case management, medical and psychiatric support, educational groups, community resources, housing, and staff who genuinely bring their own personalities and strengths to the program, there are a lot of opportunities to learn and grow. What stands out most is that you're not only learning about recovery inside the walls of treatment—you're given opportunities to start living recovery in the real world, building connections and developing a support system that can continue long after treatment ends.
Mrs. Dee and Vicky are amazing. I highly recommend michaels house. 👌
Very professional all the staff is. I really enjoy Beth's methods of how she teaches DBT that always keeps me engaged. Shout out Teddy for holding alumni meetings in person and zoom. 🐻⬇️
They were all knowledgeable and helpful. Great job always
Michael’s House has been an important part of getting my life back. Continuing into outpatient has given me a place to keep working on my recovery while starting to put those lessons into everyday practice. Recovery… takes work, and mine hasn’t been a straight line. But today I’m showing up, building connections, laughing again, and feeling hopeful about my future. That means a lot after a long time of struggling. I’m grateful to have this support as I keep moving forward, one day at a time.
Teddy is the best!!!!!
Dee, Michelle and Teddy were a great part of my journey to sobriety!!
Positive environment caring staff overall a healthy place to heal. So many amazing kinds of therapies to help along the way. Love it.
The most amazing outpatient program I’ve ever been an apart of the therapist are great. The alumni coordinator is the heart and soul of this place. Makes recovery fun and something you actually look forward to doing.… Not to many people like that in the world shout out to Teddy! They also have an amazing app.
Everything is wonderful and Teddy is awesome!
I was overall happy with my experience and learned many enlightening skills to manage stressors of life without substance use!
This place was cool. It was a breath of fresh air coming out of detox for the moment meeting the receptionist Deanne, the other people in the office the nurse counselors I would recommend to anyone struggling with… drugs, alcohol or mental health issues.
Had a great experience here at MH. All the staff has been very accommodating to all my needs. I'm so grateful for Ted, Deeanne, Michelle, and Milan they're amazing! Thank you so much!
I learned how to advocate for myself and make efforts on my own, in a safe supportive environment towards lasting recovery. I worked in the addiction treatment field for 8 years and let me tell you: no treatment center… is gonna be perfect. What I learned is how to make this treatment the best I could. Guess what? Michael's House worked out great for this because I put in the work, didn't give up, and stayed open minded. If you are willing to put in the work and make an actual effort for yourself then Michael's house is the perfect place to do that. Don't sell yourself short, you deserve a good life and Michael's house can get you started.
Amazing facility, amazing people, and a very strong support. Would highly recommend!
The best one I have ever been too they actually care about you. I really enjoy the outdoors I have never experienced alot of sober fun and now I am . I got a sponsor when I went to the meetings the community is awesome… 💯😎

This place has been such a great process for me to learn how to manage my recovery. So many resources available. The therapists are very well “seasoned” and open to everything.
Thank you Michael's house! I absolutely recommend this program to anyone wanting to change their life, it's an amazing program
My stay at Michael’s was great, this website however… awful. I’d love to use it more and engage with people but uggh.
great services and staff
TLC has been nothing but great for me. I’ve been to multiple different rehabs and outpatient centers, but this has by far been a life changing experience for me. Without Michael’s House, and Michael’s House Transitional… Living Center I would probably be dead by now. The staff is truly compassionate and knows exactly what it’s like to be in the grasp of addiction. The care they provide is unmatched and truly magical. If you’re looking to begin a new way of life, I highly recommend this amazing center ❤️
Andrew the coordinator is very active with all the patients and plans amazing trips for all to in treatment to enjoy. He’s very important to the overall morale to the people there. He is always planning great hikes and… activities for all do. It’s very nice to have an activity to do and get all out of the center for some great fun!! If you need help please consider Michael’s house it changed my life!!
