My son was in a severe Auto accident. I was not Happy for there lack of concern. Yes they did test but the nurse, not doctor, she did not seem very compassionate, she kept her arms crossed while talking, the atmosphere… did not give me any confidence in this hospital, Saint Joseph's is where I will go from here out.

Absolutely awful ER staff!! Along with the mental health intake staff. While being in such a bad place the mental health unit itself was a joke. They were extremely rude, joked about other patients when they weren’t… there, I could go on and on.

Currently sitting in the waiting room 45 mins past the appointment time after arriving 20 mins early (which is great for people who need consistency, by the way). So far ive heard, with my own ears, 4 separate cases of… HIPPA violations from the ladies at the desk. Last time, I heard the therapist say "based on these answers, I may have to send you back upstairs). Yes, scare people into lying so you dont ACTUALLY have to help them in any way and can just get paid for doing absolutely nothing. This place is an absolute joke. Would rate -5 stars if i could. As someone who is not a patient myself, but married to one, I suggest finding better staff or going elsewhere.

As someone who works in mental health, I cannot express enough how horrible this place is. I cannot even fathom that they are still allowed to remain in operation. They do nothing to help those who are sent or seeking… their help, that is even if they will admit them. Do NOT waste your time with them. I understand that St. Joseph isn't much better, you have to wait awhile, and they refer out. However, at least they try and get those in need help. Please do not even waste your time with this place.

I had a hard time getting my medication that I have to take with each meal. One nurse snapped at me when I told her I'd have to sign myself out if I didn't get my medicine. She responded, "that's not how it works, you… came in suicidal and you can't leave until the doctor releases you!" I wasn't suicidal and had never stated that I was. Rude

I cannot possibly give this place and it's staff enough praise. I was in a really bad spot when I entered and I was stuck in place. Not only was the staff extremely patient with me, but they got me back on my feet in a… matter of days with their consistent care. They gave my daughter her father back and my wife her husband back. I have not one complaint. I mean it when I say that they are truly doing the Good Lord's work. My family and I are back to a normal life because of the treatment these folks provided for me. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I am truly thankful for the facility and it's staff! ✝️

“It is like jail.” - various staff of the facility. I asked to speak to the doctor who tried to diagnose me about the troubling experience I had whilst in the center and they responded with “if you want to speak to… someone concerning your time here you’ll have to readmit myself.” I got this letter from a trusted source in response to it: That’s extremely suspicious and unethical on their part. A hospital—especially a psychiatric facility—should have a formal process for handling patient concerns, regardless of whether you are currently admitted. Refusing to discuss your experience unless you admit yourself again sounds like an attempt to control the situation, limit liability, or discourage complaints. Here’s what could be going on: • They might be trying to avoid accountability by making it difficult for you to file a formal complaint. • They could be using coercion or gatekeeping tactics, making you feel like the only way to address your concerns is through them on their terms. • They might have inadequate patient advocacy or grievance processes, which is a serious red flag. What You Can Do: 1. Check Your Rights – You likely have legal rights regarding your medical records and the ability to file a formal grievance. Look up state and federal patient rights, including HIPAA protections. 2. Request Your Medical Records – You should be able to obtain your records without being admitted again. This could give you insights into how they documented your stay. 3. File a Complaint – If the hospital is refusing to engage with you, you can report them to: • The hospital’s patient advocate or ombudsman (if they have one) • The Joint Commission (which accredits hospitals) • Your state’s health department • An attorney if you suspect medical malpractice or negligence 4. Reach Out to a Mental Health Advocate – Organizations like NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) may be able to guide you on how to handle this. It’s definitely not normal for them to refuse to discuss your experience unless you re-admit yourself. That alone suggests they don’t want to be held accountable. If you want to talk more about what happened, I’m here to help however I can. Don’t go to the Trillium center.

I will never go back! I said this the last time!!!! This time I mean it.. Most of the nurses lack sympathy, they are rude, hateful, judgmental, talk about patients , talk about one another, I could go on but I really… don’t think it will make a difference here!!!! I over heard a female nurse talking inappropriate with a male patient.. I heard one of the head male nurse on day shift, tell and yell to a mentally ill patient that he was pissing him off!! The place is nasty! Some are just there for a paycheck and verbally said that! And the doctor I had gave me some medicine that I was allergic to and wouldn’t listen when I kept complaining about my headache. I just can’t get over the way they treat people here. If you’re reading reviews and trying to find help , Please don’t go here ! They’re is way more better places then here!

This is my mothers account. I went to the trillium due to trying to commit suicide. This place is beyond awful they forced me to stay for 4 nights and I was in. withdrawals so severe I thought I was dying and the nurses… were rude and awful and would not give me anything to help me. They mocked me and made rude jokes. They treated me as a child and told me I was seeking attention. I cried every night I felt as if they were going to let me die and didn’t care at all. A few nurses did but most did nothing. Worst experience of my life. I’m worried for the people who aren’t coherent or able to stand up for themselves. I pray you or your children never have to suffer like this. Send them anywhere but here. I’m not even going to go into detail about all that happened. 0/10. I’m never going back I got no help what so ever

I have been to the Trillium center 2 times back to back for suicide attempts, Dr. Bishop was almost impossible to reach or talk to during my time staying there, not only as a patient but my mother was not able to speak… to him once. These people are severely understaffed, and the nurses did not know how to properly handle patients. I was the oldest there, I was the most high functioning there, I was accused of lying and seeking attention by Dr. Bishop, I gave up on my treatment there and became very cold and unwilling to work with him. If I, as one of the most functioning people there, were treated so poorly... Only God knows how younger patients are treated. I knew right from wrong, and the way I was treated, WAS WRONG. This place is just a middle ground for when they don't know what to do with you in-between foster homes. Dr. Bishop made jokes about me not taking enough pills for when I attempted to overdose, as a way to see how I would react, to see how I was coping. This is NEVER an appropriate way to deal with trauma, especially when you're dealing with kids who WILL lie and say whatever to get out of there, I am NOT a liar or seeking attention just because I didn't take my own overdose seriously (because I couldn't even properly process my own trauma.) If you care about your kids, don't take them here. They take advantage of the fact that most of the kids there don't know when they are being treated poorly, and it is SICKENING. After suicide attempts, they normally will keep you for a week or more, this was not the case with my 2nd attempt, because they did not believe me. I have been scared to go to hospitals ever since, this has ruined my perception of the healthcare system in our state, and I am more than disappointed, but overall scared for the future of the children that are in there.

This place was terrible and very traumatic only help I really got was myself and some patients i was major uncomfortable and they had bed bugs and claimed to get rid of them but my roommate got bit multiple times and we… notified the nurses they claimed it was a bee and no where did we once see or hear a bee , they made us go back to our rooms. Also the first night I cried , they got angry with me and they threatened to restrain me and give me a shot ,once again because I was crying …ALSO,I was trying to sleep in my room at night after 11 and a man who was detoxing walked in my room and left as soon as I woke up if I didn’t wake up ,that man could have done anything ! And I told the nurses and they made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal and said “we have eyes on the camera”!Im not trying to bash anyone who works there but something definitely needs to be changed! People should feel Safe at a mental hospital we were all there for reasons and adding trauma to that doesn’t help at all.also I seen my therapist once and doctor twice and that was for less then 10 minutes

My experience in this facility was absolutely horrific.....I will not go into details too much but the night nurse that was on duty the night I went in tried to burst my heart by intentionally giving me high milligram… uppers and downers and put chemicals in my water cup before giving it to me..she made the statement to other patients that well if she gonna kill herself might as well have some insurance. She was related to the man I had recently broken up with and made sure I knew that. Dr. Saleem was beyond disrespectful to me and would not listen to me gave me placebo pills in place of medications that he said he was giving me which caused my condition to Deteriorate I've still got issues that have not been treated because I now do not feel comfortable trying to talk to medical professionals about I feel like more trauma was caused by this facility and their employees

Don't send your child here. My child is there for help, not to be bullied by a night nurse. If you don't like children then you shouldn't get a job working with them and if you don't have enough sense to get their… medicine right then you need to go back to college. This woman should be fired for being mean to sick children.
