The security guard is very disrespectful to everyone and I don’t go to the clinic
Wow I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They’re not there to help they are there to look down on you and treat you as less than human because you have an addiction. From the top to the bottom they lack empathy and… aren’t looking to help at all. All they want is money and aren’t looking to treat the issue they want to keep the issue going so they can squeeze every last dollar out of you. They don’t fix anything they change what you’re addicted to. Screw this place, it should be closed down forever.
My experience at this clinic was unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. When I arrived, I parked in an open area of the lot with no visible signage indicating employee-only parking. As I walked toward the entrance, a… security guard immediately told me to move my vehicle. I calmly stated I would confirm with staff inside first. Once inside, I was told that if I did not move my vehicle, I would not be dosed. There was still no clear signage—only a generic “private property” notice. I explained that I had just transferred from out of state, was unfamiliar with their parking rules, and had no issue moving my vehicle and told them how rude their security officer was since I did not know that he was a real security officer and that’s why I wanted to go inside first. None of it makes sense. The parking lot had plenty of spaces. I then moved my truck as instructed and returned—only to be told I would not be dosed and was being treated as if I were trespassing. Denying service over a simple, unmarked parking issue is completely unreasonable and shows a serious lack of professionalism and judgment. For full transparency: this entire interaction is recorded. My vehicle has 24/7 video and audio recording, clearly showing that I was calm, respectful, and compliant throughout. There was no aggression, no refusal, and no justification for how I was treated. What’s even more concerning is that another nearby clinic indicated they regularly receive patients transferring from this location due to similar complaints about staff behavior and treatment. If any owner or manager would like to review what actually occurred, I welcome you to contact me directly. I am willing to provide the full video footage if there is any question about the facts. If this matter is not addressed appropriately, I will be pursuing it through the proper legal channels. Patients seeking help deserve professionalism, clear communication, and respect. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Look at my image as you can see that silver car is somebody that belongs to the clinic look how they park in the parking lot literally in a handicap sideways spot. I parked right in front of the white Porsche next to the red car that open spot that is the spot they made me move from.
The folks at Adelson Clinic have become like family to me. Kaira my caseworker is no nonsense and can be tough on me at times and that's exactly what I need. I am a difficult person to deal with on every level for many… reasons. But from my caseworker and the nurses, front desk receptionist, Mike our security at the clinic who always has a smile, kind words, solid advice, makes a great pot of coffee and much more while still managing to keep us all safe and keeps everything running smoothly in what we could turn into a real circus without him. And several more i haven't mentioned that all together create an atmosphere that truly feels like our family and one that genuinely cares about all of us. Ive been to several clinics around the country since 1994 and although most had their good qualities. None could provide the level of care that we receive and I cannot post this review without saying thank you to Dr. Miriam Adelson and her late husband Sheldon G. Adelson for making all of this happen in the first place. Thank you to all of you.
After more than 10 years at this clinic, I’m deeply disappointed by the treatment I received. Methadone kept me from using other opioids but caused its own set of problems, including addiction to methadone itself, years… spent at dangerously high doses, and serious health issues like persistent abnormal EKGs. The clinic made it nearly impossible for me to taper down when I wanted to, using reasons like marijuana use or not bringing in my benzo prescription.Despite major personal losses and the struggle of caring for my father, my efforts to improve my situation were dismissed. My counselor’s recent comments were hurtful and degrading, ignoring the challenges I’ve faced just to survive. While the new program director made some progress, the overall experience has left me feeling worse—both mentally and physically. I don’t wish my experience on anyone. This clinic failed to truly help or understand me.
I was NOT asked to write this 1st off. We recently switched to Adelson from another local methadone clinic. 3 years clean despite the other clinic's bad actions. Here, Our counselors actually listen, ask questions from… previous meetings, do not make us feel like an addict & welcome everybody the same! Homeless or a Bentley, opiods wrecked every family in America. I went to a Dr. for a decade thinking I wasn't buying off the streets so I wasn't 1 of those people. I was, we are, and we got help! Thank you.
Do NOT give your money to this place. THEY FUNDED $100,000,000+ to TRUMP'S presidential campaign!!! What kind of hell are they planning? This smells of dystopian corruption and nefarious intentions. Just remember:… Downed economies and imprisonment of minorities INCREASE rates of drug addiction. Those are both paths we are already seeing Trump go down in 2025.
Great place Karen is very professional and the best intake secretary.
you really donated over $106 MILLION to re elect trump, wow
This place is never open, and their staff is super rude.
Dr. Oz is a terrible doctor. He misdiagnosed and blamed it all on me. Never go here if you want to live.
if you would have asked me in my prior times trying to go here i would have left a bad review. but this around my experience with this clinic has been better than any clinic ive been too. i finally have an amazing an… understanding conselour. and as far as the other staff, theyve gone far past my expectations to feel like they care. this is a safe place for me. i can always count on the security gaurd to help me with any outside issues that ive had to deal with. hes been like an angel in disguise. ive realized that until you get connected with a conselour that actually listens and understands your daily problems you face then youre never going to get the help you need. im just grateful i finally found that here. im beyond grateful for this clinic
The Addelson Clinic was the first methadone clinic I ever went to. For the first time in my life I found something to make the pain go away. I didn’t need heroin any more. If you are struggling to find a way out, I… highly recommend methadone as your treatment of choice. It will save your life. HOWEVER, I cannot in good conscience recommend you attend this clinic. This clinic is funded by the state and if you know anything about government run facilities they are usually horrible places. The counselors here are so rude. Especially the fat white lady I think her name is Bridgett. She treats you like a drug addict and belittles you at every opportunity. If she doesn’t agree with you, you will be told even tho the hippocrite weighs more than an elephant. If you smoke weed forget about ever earning any take homes. If they don’t like you forget about ever being treated like a human being. Their policies are outdated. One slip up - violation of policies- and they will refuse service without due notice, causing you to relapse, overdose, and die. It happened to me. One day I was at clinic having a bad day and I was sick. Got in a argument with a crack head in the parking lot. Next day they kicked me out and refused me my dose. Anyone on methadone knows how bad that it. Took me over a week to find a new clinic. Money, fees, time, paperwork, doctors meetings, had to start my dose over at 40mgs when I needed 100. Needless to say I reloaded hard. Overdosed and ended up in the hospital. Until that point I had been clean and sober for 2 years. I lost my job during this event with the clinic cuz of my relapse and drug use I was now unemployed again. Everything I worked so hard to fix this clinic ruined. GO TO DESERT TREATMENT OR HENDERSON COMPREHENSIVE. They will treat you right. Plus you can smoke weed at these clinics and they will give you take homes. The addelson clinic will call you a drug addict. I could keep rambling on and on forever. But as a methadone user who’s life has been saved by Methadone. Don’t waste your time here. There’s others places. DESERT TREATMENT CLINIC OR HENDERSON COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT CENTER. Google them.
I've been a drug addict for 20 years I came here almost 2 years ago and with there patience and understanding commitment to there patients I'm sober for the first time in 20 years , they don't just help with medication… but help guide to resources needed to better your life.. The Adelson Clinic really has helped me make positive choices in my life that allowed me to save myself from further destruction of my life ... Every one from the administration to the counselors , nurses , to the security guard and of course the doctor are very compationate , and discrete , they treat you with respect, no matter what walk of life you fall into they don't judge , they see you for the person you truly are .. I'd recommend this clinic to anyone struggling with addiction. This clinics staff are there to help .. if you or someone you know is struggling with addiction please visit The Adelson Clinic they will help you safe your life !!!
This is by far one of the best clinics I've been to, I didn't like my counselor very much but the rest of the staff is extremely nice especially Brittany and the security guard. I did have an issue with them once or… twice but since then the other clinic I have been going to has been doing nothing except telling me to be there earlier to speak to my counselor but then they tell me in the same breath that I actually dont have a counselor right now. I would very much like to go to back to Adelson and am considering it.
I have been in Vegas for 30 years and been on EVERY clinic in Vegas. Been on the Koolade for 27 years. And Adelson's is by far the quickest compassionate clinic ever. Unless you are still running and gunning, forget… about it. Keep doing what you're doing.
They close for patients at 12p. Office is open for telephone calls.but office is closed to patients at 12p...
Most of the bad reviews are from people who aren't following the rules and feel I tilted to treatment great staff for the most part great security and nurses . Only one problem I've had is with counsler not seeming to… care or take my treatment serouisly everyone else is top notch especial Mike the security gaurd great dude always makes not just me but all patients feel welcomed
Don't go here. We went for 4 years and just left and we feel like we escaped North Korea. They treat you great at first but then you're treated like a junkie. Find anywhere else to go if you're serious about being sober.
