The staff try to hold u hostage..mine was bsupposed to be 90 days i finally tricked head psychiatrist into typing a release to work letter and hightailed it back to. Kentucky
After 4 or 5 failed attempts to stop abusing alcohol I wound up at MARR. The day after my 50th birthday. I was extremely upset and disappointed with myself. But something told me that I belonged there. And I made the… best decision of my life. To stay there. I stayed for the mandatory 3 months and then an extra four more. Not only did I learn to stop drinking and live life without alcohol, but I leather be an adult. To ask for help. And most importantly I learned that I was not alone in my life or my journey. Wonderful place with great staff. You may not know it or believe it but this place is the BEST chance you have at getting sober and learning how to live a good life. Period.
MARR has been a wonderful experience for me. The entire staff is great. Always felt loved and supported. Learned a lot about myself and was provided the tools I need to live a happy healthy life. Very grateful for MARR… and everything they do.
My time at MARR has fundamentally changed my life. I have a strong foundation in sobriety, many coping tools in my toolbox and a large network of sober men and women who I will forever call friends. I especially love… the Professionals Program (ARP) where I participated in Mirror Image classes, working with peers who had overcome their addiction and achieved the life I wanted to be living. Recovery is truly one day at a time and MARR is the best place to make each day count.
I highly recommend their podcast with stories told by former residents. It really lifted my spirits, my hope, and my general outlook!
I have been sober now for over 40 years and MARR gave the tools and foundation to achieve this just one day at the time ,it has been amazing journey to live by the 12th steps principles am forever grateful
My cousin attended MARR many years ago, had a good experience, and is now a physician. Without a strong foundation in a MARR recovery program, this probably wouldn’t have happened. My son is checking into MARR today. So… far the kindness and compassion we’ve received as parents is comforting and makes us hopeful.
Amazing place, saved my life
I have been affected by the actions of one of the counselors. Matt Erwin's poor treatment to my spouse has terrified her. He has hurt her in ways I couldn't even imagine. I've never seen or heard of a professional… treating their clients in a manner of which he has. We are trying to heal but it's a struggle everyday.
MARR has given me so much in the last 2 years gave me the tools to live a life I never knew was possible. I was in a very dark place before I came here and wasn’t sure sobriety was even possible. Now, a little under 2… years later I am living a life I never imagined could be mine. This was my first treatment center after a decade in addiction and I’m so happy I came here. The length of the program was extremely important, as well as having the option to stay in the extended residence program for much longer. I would highly recommend MARR to anyone who needs help and wants a different life.
Thank God for MARR! Gave me a second chance at life.
This place saved my life. Highly recommend
Life changer. I will forever hold this place near and to my heart. Family.
This place changed my life!!! I highly recommend you come here if you have a problem and want to be better ❤️🩹
MARR Addiction Treatment Center saved my life. I was using and drinking for over a decade, and making the decision to see treatment here was the one thing that worked. I tried halfway houses and just going to meetings,… but going through the 98 day inpatient program here really solidified my foundation in recovery. The residential management team, primary counselors in day-treatment, and staff members in the administration team building care so much about the clients and it shows. Eternally grateful for MARR. Shout out to Tricia Meeker for being the best alumni event coordinator (now that I've graduated I have so much fun at the events so.... yeah. 😂)
Do not waste your time or money here. There are much better treatment centers. If you or your loved one went through MARR and had an absolute nightmare experience please feel free to contact me.
Marr saved my life.
MARR saved my life. The understanding of this disease and the way that it affects the whole family is something I truly didn’t understand until I came here. I’m grateful everyday for the men and women who work here who… have gone above and beyond to make sure I felt loved and safe while a client. .
Terrible experience wouldn't recommend to no one. Very unorganized and don't care about there patients it's about a pay check to them and that is it. I strongly suggest you take your lived one somewhere else.
I owe my life to MARR. I went throuh their 90 day mens program and 2 years of their residential program 35years ago and still going strong one day at a time. This Aug. I will have 35 years clean and Sober.
Changed my life, helped me understand my addiction and provided me the knowledge to have a sober life. Highly recommend.
DONT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES HERE FOR REHAB THIS IS A POOR EXCUSE FOR A REHAB
My experience at MARR was truly life changing. Not only for me, but for my entire family. The focus on family therapy is unparalleled. I was able to get in touch with feelings and emotions that were buried deep inside.… Gaining the tools on how to deal with them in a proper manner. I am now able to live a new way of life having the foundation to build from.
