Just there for a paycheck. Inconsistent treatment and services. Good thing I’m not suicidal!!! Better off getting advice from YouTube “professionals” and self medicating, unless u have insurance that’s better than… Medicaid. Good luck 👍

Absolutely amazing and kind staff. Keep a smile on their faces and one on mine as well. Nurse practitioner really listened to me and I believe helped me to the best ability possible

I don’t know what time they close but it’s not five. I got here at four and they were closed. They need to change the time on Google.

The reviews here are very true. Not a good place.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND! This place refuses people in a mental health crisis, and then calls the cops on them when they are trying to call their insurance company to find another place to go. IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I… WOULD. This is not how a mental health clinic should operate or how the staff should treat people seeking help.

I’ve been going to this clinic for over a year now. I think a lot of these reviews are either for the wrong facility or from people who were going through extremely rough times when they left their reviews. I didn’t… have a great experience when I first tried to become a patient at this clinic, I knew I needed to establish mental health care somewhere and had just moved to the area. To be perfectly clear, I was not my best self without my meds and took it out on the front desk staff, even though it wasn’t their fault. You CANNOT schedule an appointment to establish care over the phone. You HAVE to get there BEFORE they open on the days that they accept walk-ins. You can call to find out what days they do that or go down and talk to them in person for more information. Treat the staff with respect and you’ll get the same in return. Basic human decency. They operate based on policies, not out of spite or as a way to make your life harder. They have genuinely caring staff and exhibit professionalism during appointments.

Absolute trash. Court order mental heal evaluation for my sister. Took her up there 4 times to try to get in. They turned us around because they only do walk ins the first time. Second time: they only allow 4 walk ins a… day and we were the 5th. 3rd time: they need a supervisor to accept cash payments rather than insurance. 4th time: the supervisor declined cash payment after us waiting in the parking lot since 630. Shut this place down. Reporting to bbb later today. Also, reporting to solicitors office. And we wonder why we have so many “mass shootings”. People can’t even get help.

This place is the worst place in the country. They are only concerned about punishing people, taking away your freedom, making you feel less than human and treating you with no respect. The staff has the worst attitude… and lack of professionalism I have every seen. I would rather due 6 months in jail than in this place. If you are a loved one is considering this facility, please DO NOT!. There are plenty of other places to choose from besides this one. You just need to take the time and call around

Nurse Tammy is the only good thing about this place. Just as bad as the Thomaston office. They should have more compassionate workers since this is a mental health facility. Do yall really think staff with nasty… attitudes is going to help patients?!

I am saddened that I even have to write this review but the young white lady in the front the skinny one maybe in her mid 30s needs to be fired for discrimination she is nasty and racist I'm a literally amental health… patient coming to get my injection God don't like ugly I was extremely mannerable and respectful and you treated me with utter disrespect.

This behavioral health center is full of the most disrespectful unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. They never called me to tell me they had to cancel my appointment, I walked in dumb founded because one of… the doctors had “training”. Okay so don’t schedule someone an appointment and not be able to make it, especially have the call center call me the day before and say “Just letting you know to remind you of your appointment tmrw”. I yelled at them and said I guess you and the call center weren’t on the same terms where you? Absolutely pathetic.

I went through the program New Choices. Unfortunately, this was not my 1st go around at recovery. I was expecting Mrs. Val Knight to be there and she wasn't, but I had an awesome counselor Jessica List. Mrs List and I… didn't see eye to eye at 1st but as I grew I learned so much from Mrs. Jessica. She is an amazing counselor. She was tough I mean tough, she didnt play around about recovery. It wasn't a joke to her. I need that firm tough love. I have been enable and co dependent my whole life and she one of the 1st people that told me No. DFACS or law enforcement couldn't break me but Jessica was the one who broke me. I had about 3 months still angry at the world and she had told me I couldn't get approved for the certain event I was looking for and I will never forget I broke down at that moment. I let everything that I had been holding onto to go. I cried and fell to my knees. I was so broken and I started to begin looking up. For the first time ever I felt humility and began to stop fighting and started to work the program. I will have 2 yrs this up and coming this September. Many things need to adjust to New Chooces for example the beds, the bugs, and some of the ridiculous rule . It's a new era of recovery and old fashioned rules and regulations need to be adjusted there.

Walk-In wait time first visit Screening took almost one hour in waiting room to be seen. Opened at 8 AM and seen at 9 AM. Was told that I had to wait 2 1/2 months to be seen by my first appointment with a clinician and… even longer than that to see a Doctor. Over three months. I'm out of meds in nine days and need of a new Psychiatrist. Pathways Mental Health is recommended as an alternative in Griffin, GA Spaulding County.

I wanted to update my review so you can understand where I am coming from. This review is not even for the nurse practitioners and the rest of the nursing staff. Some of them actually care and I like that they meet with… you individually to discuss their concerns. Plus on certain days, they will have you do fun activities. However, after 5pm when they leave in their nice cars, the night shift turned into prison. They will steal your clothes and shoes when you are not looking. Which I don't even mind because they probably do this so that the other patients that don't have much have things to wear when they are checked in. It's just the way they go about it is all wrong. So make sure you watch your belongings after they clean rooms and wash clothes. The security guards are abusive and they feel like they can talk and treat you however they want because they group everyone in the mental illness category. Most of them are black and from what I observed, they will only treat the black patients this way. They are a disgrace to black people and I let them know that my very first day dealing with them. Be aware that most people do not check themselves in here. If you are looking for any type of mental help it is ALWAYS safer and smarter to seek a private facility. Side note: The food is actually good so compliments to the chef!

Very disappointing I had called 2 times before I went to get all the information before I went in to embarrass myself well when I went in she asked me what services I needed mental health or addiction help I said both… this woman looked at me like I was completely stupid I'm here I'm asking for help and you look at me like that really then she proceeded to tell me that it would take up to 2 weeks when none of that was mentioned on the phone whatsoever they told me I would come in for an evaluation it was a complete waste of time and zero help for me and to be looked at that way after I asked for help was completely upsetting I wouldn't suggest going there if you're interested in
