Sophros Recovery – Jacksonville Detox and Rehab Services

Sophros Recovery – Jacksonville is listed as running partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Sophros Recovery – Jacksonville Address, Location and Contact Information

Records give the address as 2511 Saint Johns Bluff Road South, Jacksonville, Florida, 32246. Jacksonville sits in Duval County. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.

A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

I came to this office and did everything that I required by the court and everything was negative, but this office gave the court that I needed to continue I told them I can't afford it , but they push with false… information just to get more money . This office is not what appears to be.

I don’t say this lightly, this program genuinely saved my life. Bella was such an incredible therapist, she worked with me through an incredibly dark time in my life. She advocated for me, held me accountable with… kindness, and was exactly what I needed. Nick, the CEO, did my initial assessment, and from the moment I talked to him, I knew this was the program for me. He moved mountains to make sure I got the treatment I needed. Also a shoutout to Stephen for his groups, particularly music, that brought joy, reminding us that it’s okay to have fun and laugh while staying active in recovery. I will sing my praises for this program forever.

I really had a great experience there. In fact I'm rocking my Sophros T-shirt today lol. I got a lot out of the groups and thought y'all had really good facilitators. I did a 30 day residential treatment before doing… IOP at Sophros and it was really a great step down program for my recovery. I would highly recommend it to anyone dealing with substance abuse and/or Mental Health issues. It’s in a nice/safe area of Jax and the facility itself was kept VERY clean. I recently reached 6 months of sobriety and Sophros is a big reason for that! Thanks again!

Be careful with this company they only have one interest in mind.they don't care for you whatsoever. I was in the meeting the other day I am a patient. They were very selective on who they help .no interested in helping.

I would recommend this program to anyone. Personal to me, but I did not know what I was getting into and it was a good start to helping me understand parts of what I have been going through. It’s going to be a long… road, but I’m happy that this is where it started. Thanks to Felicia for helping me through this process.

Between the Gaia zen Space, Zeus conference room and all the Elite Pros that make Sophros Recovery Center the place it is, 5 stars for helping me thru a recent transitional time with genuine consideration for my… situation. As someone who was brought up by 2 AA old-timers, recovery/fellowship/mental Health are and always have been high priority.

Sophros is absolutely amazing. I am so great for their program, more than any words can express. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. All the staff, therapists, individual & group therapy are wonderful &… extremely helpful. I learned & got so much out of the program. I have been to other programs, therapists but Sophros is the best I’ve ever seen.

Sophros is out of this world incredible. I attended PHP, IOP, and then OP for a total of 4 months. All of the therapists are so kind and caring and compassionate. The group classes are so meaningful and truly help you… work through trauma and understanding the background of your behaviors. The individual sessions are warm and comforting and provide excellent feedback to help you through your addictions or other trauma based events. I’m forever grateful for Sophros. It saved my life.

My therapist Genelle was amazing during my care and follow on resources. They need more like her. ART with Bella was an unknown successful experience. The entire staff from Anna to all the facilitators were non… judgemental and truly brought enlightenment to topics. I read reviews and by luck and the grace of God found the absolute best program.

Sophros is an exceptional facility. The staff is supportive and skilled in their individual areas. The therapists genuinely care about helping their clients. My individual therapist was compassionate, yet she challenged… me. They made sure I was set up for success afterwards and check in on me regularly. There is also an alumni program and daily meetings that are open to anyone.

If my addiction was a long, dark, despairing tunnel, Sophros was the light at the end. And nowhere did that light shine brighter than in the essence of my amazing therapist, Kennedy, whose wisdom and perspective are… enlightening and whose benevolent and empathetic spirit, divine. To know the level of compassion and non-judgmental attentiveness as that which you are sure to experience from all staff at Sophros still exist in today’s world almost made that long, dark, despairing walk worth it (almost!). And should I somehow lose my way, get turned around and find myself again in the darkness, I will just walk toward the light. You all have a special place in my heart, Matt

If you find yourself in need of a recovery establishment, Sophros has to be the best, or at least 1 of the best in town. First off, the facility simply has "great" energy, especially when groups are engaged and ready to… listen and learn from the staff. The staff is great. They're all smart as hell, firm, but kind. My personal therapist L.F. helped pull me out of a crater sized rut that I had put myself into. Along with the great "in facility" treatment you'll receive, they'll also encourage you to build an outside network for when you graduate. I discovered Recovery Dharma and S.M.A.R.T. recovery during my time at Sophros. The owner, Nick, allows these groups to meet in the Sophros facility which is very cool to me and these classes are free. They're not selfish, they just want you to get better. I'll forever be indebted to this place and am soooo happy I chose it from a huge list of facilities an addiction specialist gave me. I would rate it 10 stars if I could.

Amazing place, Im.am oif combat veteran and dislike being around crowds of people or even talking about my issue's, The team.here is excellent, my 2 favorites are mrs. Terry and mrs Felicia. Two wonderful therpist that… pushed me to get better. Ms. Terry was my personal therapist and is very kind, she will push you only because she wants the best. She would always text me if I didn't show up to make sure I wasnt stumbling or having any issues amazing woman. They also feed you and help you truly understand the treatment to get you sober and push you to not avoid your problems. They offer a variety of therapuetuc classes and the environment is clean. The owner is also a very kind gentleman and went above and beyond to help me maintain sobriety and go to bat for me when i got in a situation. Like who does that? Lastly the receptionist Ana is the best very kind and professional I highly recommend them.

I went to Sophros between June 2024 and December 2024 and my time at Sophros truly changed my life, I cannot express it enough. When I first arrived, I was angry, stubborn, and completely closed off. I didn’t trust the… process, and although I brought myself there, I felt like nobody would be able to understand or help me. But the therapists and staff proved me wrong in the best possible way. I was dealing with lots of depression and anxiety, and didn't know which way to turn, because of Sophros and the hard work I put in, I found my way back to myself. Now of course I still deal with a lot of those feelings, but that is what's beautiful,I feel my feelings, I learned to deal, express and cope with my feelings in ways I've never known. I am so much more regulated and I feel like I see the world in a different color! Everyone there is unbelievable, every single therapist and staff member are those kindest, warmest, beautiful people I've ever met. They truly care about you and meet you where you are. They are patient, compassionate, and genuinely care about your growth. They didn’t just push me, they guided me. They helped me step out of my comfort zone in a way that actually felt comfortable, safe, and supported. Little by little, I started opening up, letting go, and learning how to understand myself instead of fighting everything and everyone around me. I left this program a different person, not a better person, still me, just — stronger, calmer, and more self‑aware, and I continue my care through therapy with the best therapist I've ever encountered. I’m so grateful for every conversation, every challenge, and every moment of support. Sophros didn’t just help me, they brought me back to myself and I cannot thank them enough! This will always be one of the best decisions I have EVER made, and I hope others can feel the same! I can’t recommend this program enough. It’s not just treatment, it's my lifestyle!

This was one of the best decisions I have made. I want to start by saying thank you to the staff and most importantly, my therapist T for helping me during this tough time in my life. I wasn't sure this was the place… for me as I have been to a few inpatient treatment centers in Florida. There was something different about this program or maybe it was just my time. I've been to rehab a few times, but this was the first time I was in recovery. Sophros provided me with the mindset to heal from my past and gave me tools to stay on the path of healing. It was not easy and Sophros does not provide you with an easy out if you choose to follow their guidance. If you or a family member is suffering from addiction, please pick up the phone. I am so glad I did. Please do not mistake the 4 star review for there being fault in this program. We can all strive for perfection and this program is well up there. They made sure that my needs and the needs of others were always met and continuing care is available with meetings and groups held at the center. This program saved my career, my relationships and most importantly my life. Addiction takes too many lives and Sophros is there to extend that hand to help save more.

After detox, Sophros was the most effective aftercare I have recieved. The nursing staff and doctor were able to treat any post acute withdrawal symptoms I had and they helped me to feel more comfortable. The therapists… are the best around, very understanding, solution oriented, and they make the groups fun. My personal therapist, Jackie, was amazing. She changed my mind about therapy for the better, making sessions actually fun. Overall, I would highly reccomend this treatment center because it has kept me sober since I got out, and allowed me to feel human again through social connection. I have found employment again, improved relationships with my family and my health is now the best its ever been.

Sophros Recovery and Jackie truly changed my life for the better. From day one, I felt supported, respected, and understood. This isn’t just a program, it’s a place where people genuinely care about your growth,… healing, and future. Jackie is amazing. She goes above and beyond, always encouraging me to stay focused, disciplined, and hopeful. She believed in me even when I was still learning how to fully believe in myself. Her guidance, patience, and consistency made all the difference in my recovery journey. Because of Sophros and Jackie, I am healthier, more focused, more confident, and committed to becoming the best version of myself. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I know I wouldn’t be here without their support. If you’re serious about changing your life and want real people who truly care about your success, this is the place to be. I’m forever grateful.
