Saint Vincent Kokomo – Kokomo Detox and Rehab Services

Saint Vincent Kokomo – Kokomo carries a listing for detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Supervised withdrawal comes first, with the greatest danger in the opening seventy-two hours. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

My experience there was really good. The nurses were amazing and so was the doctor whose care i was under. The hospital was to capacity but your staff didn't miss a beat. They were all wonderful.

Worst hospital in my life. Nurse was supper nice but my doctor... Doctor Pham just another person in healthcare who doesn't care. She was not only rude but called for security when I disagree with her calmly stating my… opinion. So 3 cops show up and quickly see I couldn't physically reach or do anything she said. I wanted her taken for false report. I was In room 10 er I encourage your higher ups to watch the camera and see what I'm talking about. I'd never go back and will refuse.

Sat in ER 12 hours before got into room. Room was extremely warm. Was offered a 4x4 battery operated fan. Only one nurse bothered to look at my wound and cleaned it. Had the same gown for the 4 days I was admitted and… was never offered toiletries to clean up or brush my teeth. Food options were horrible. I follow a high protein low carb calories deficit under a nutritionists guidance and there was no way I could follow those guidelines while I was in there. Ordered the same food 3 days in a row and never got the same amount. Ie chicken and cheese quesadilla one day had!3 pieces in day had 4 and the last day was only given two. Was delivered at 705 so of course couldn’t get it fixed and was offered a box lunch which definitely doesn’t meet my dietary needs.

This was the worst hospital I've ever been in. The doctor was just plain rude. I'm in between jobs, so I have the Healthy Indiana Plan insurance right now. I'm very polite, well groomed and well spoken person. I'm… college educated, yet was treated like trash. There was a few nurses that were nice. Actually Anita on the fourth floor, and Kolby the technician on the fourth floor were great. The food was good and the food service was good. I went to the ER because I keep fainting and when I fell I thought broke my ankle. I've never had ankle problems. My kidney numbers were high, which is bad. I worked outside on a side job during the last heat wave we had. So basically they milked the HIP insurance and kept me the weekend, pumped me full of fluids and released me yesterday. My ankle isn't broken, but my knee and ankle are still swollen. It's like taking your car in for tires and your radiator is low. They put fluid in the radiator, and no tire. That's what I feel like

Hospital was clean . ER experience excellent. 4th floor Nursing staff were professional. Improvement needed with communication between nursing & Dr. & , NP. Several Frustrations. : 1ex: on Rx macular degeneration eye… Medication, & a RX inhaler, never administered during the 4 days he was a inpatient . When I came to his room to take him home, I heard wheezing. These 2 meds had nothing to do with why my husband was in the hospital. I have other concerns, which I will share when I am given opportunity to complete a survey.
