Rock Springs – Georgetown Detox and Rehab Services
What Rock Springs – Georgetown offers, on record, is residential treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Mental health and substance use are handled together rather than in sequence. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Rock Springs – Georgetown Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 700 Southeast Inner Loop in Georgetown, Texas, 78626. The city lies within Williamson County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Rock Springs – Georgetown Reviews and Ratings
A family in Georgetown deciding on treatment wants to hear from someone who has been there. Reviews of Rock Springs give them that.

I made amazing lifelong friends and I genuinely loved the staff here (Mr Bo, Mr John, all the chris's, all the lady staffs) they treated me like family and genuinely helped me realize I'm not just a monster hated by… all. They did great at adjusting my prescriptions to what I mentally needed, and the food was pretty good. I wish I could come back and visit these people and tell them how much they helped me
If I could give this place a 0 star I would..My daughter got admitted to this facility since no place had any openings in San Antonio. I googled the reviews and thought my daughter was in good hands I was definitely… mistaken.. I withdrew her against medical advice due to her having a seizure while brushing her teeth and nobody made an attempt to call me until my daughter called me to inform me what took place. I showed up within 10 minutes and a nurse came out and her excuse was “she was busy all morning” a phone call takes 2 minutes to make..this happened around 7 or 8 am and my daughter called around 11:30 am..so there wasn’t an urgency to call me at all..then after I withdrew my daughter she informed me they refused to give her her seizure medication until she drank half of an ensure. She came out more traumatized than when she went in..please don’t send your kiddos here when all they care about is money and funding.. I regret it everyday now we have a better program in San Antonio with people who genuinely show concern for her well being. Stay away from this facility!!
Excellent staff, Excellent care I felt like I was in good hands ,I felt safe would highly recommend to anyone going through hard times or needing to detox
I recently accompanied my mother to a behavioral health center to drop off supplies for a loved one who is receiving care there. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk was disappointing. The front desk… employee, Tara J., was rather rude and dismissive when explaining the process for dropping off belongings for patients. I understand that there are policies and procedures that need to be followed, but there is still a way to communicate those expectations with compassion, patience, and empathy. You would hope that a behavioral health facility would place a strong emphasis on those qualities, especially when interacting with family members who are already going through a difficult situation. I truly hope the patients receiving care at this facility are being treated with the compassion, patience, and understanding they deserve. Unfortunately, based on our experience at the front desk, we left feeling as though we were an inconvenience rather than family members simply trying to provide support and supplies to someone we care about. A little empathy and kindness can go a long way, especially in a behavioral health setting where people and their families may already be experiencing a difficult and emotional time.
Our family had a loved one stay at Rock Springs, and we are incredibly grateful for the care they received. Going into the experience, we were nervous after reading some of the reviews. I remember mentioning to a friend… what our family was going through, and they shared that they had personally spent over a week at Rock Springs for detox several years ago. They told me they had a positive experience, and hearing that from someone I knew really helped put my mind at ease. We're so glad we kept an open mind because every person's experience is different. The social worker even explained that each patient's experience can vary depending on the group of patients there at the same time, which made a lot of sense. Our family member came home feeling like they truly learned valuable coping skills, gained a better understanding of how the brain works, and learned a lot about addiction and mental health. They also met some genuinely kind, supportive people during their stay and felt encouraged by both the staff and fellow patients. They even said the food wasn't bad! The staff was friendly and compassionate. Liliana, who handled the financial side, was very kind and helpful. Heidi, one of the nurses, made a positive impression, and Amy was also very helpful when we spoke with her. While communication with the treatment team was understandably limited, we respected that our family member is an adult and that the primary focus was on their recovery. We were able to visit, which meant a great deal to us. Our loved one came home saying they were genuinely glad they went and are ready to use what they learned in real-life situations. For our family, this experience was truly a blessing. If you're reading reviews because you're scared about making the decision to seek help, I encourage you not to let a few negative experiences make the decision for you. Every person's journey is different, and for our family, Rock Springs made a real difference.
Couldn't even get past receiving any information on the phone, as the woman that answered, Tiffany, had an attitude straight out the gate. When I explained the situation of why I was calling, she continued answering… with such uncouth, I just hung up. With that being the representative of the company when you answer, the first voice you hear, I was completely unimpressed and deterred from even continuing on, and my family member deserves waaaaay better.
I am the MPOA for my elderly mom, and she was transferred here from an ER. I called to get an update as I am concerned about medical conditions she has, and there is no direct line to staff for family members. So I used… the hospital line and got Teal on the phone, who said that unless I have her patient code she couldn’t confirm or deny that she is there. I know this may be illegal as I am also a RN. A MPOA has to be kept informed, especially when there may be doubt about a patient’s ability to make decisions…which there are in this case. Now in this day and age many ppl do not know the phone numbers of their loved ones, esp. without a cellphone, so if they are relying on her to call me to provide that code, and she forgets my number or something, how can I ever confirm that she is indeed in a safe place and getting effective treatment?!?!?! Second, she had been there for 19 hours, and has not seen any provider and hasn’t had ONE set of vitals taken nor received any of her chronic medications, including for pain. This is patient neglect - pure and simple. Also the staff lie and refuse to call a MD at night unless “it’s an emergency”, and there is none at the facility at night. I guess they wait for ppl to code and then think about calling the physician, who probably makes 400k/year. I do not know how this is safe or even acceptable. This is no different than if she had been kidnapped, as she had no medications, is in opioid withdrawal, and probably has rebound hypertension…I am reporting this place immediately. And believe me, I know where to do that…And I’ve taken down the name of every single registered nurse that I have spoken with this whole time…The TBON needs to be aware of this!
After losing my son last year, Mother’s Day was incredibly difficult for me, and I ended up in the Sunrise Unit at Rock Springs. I cannot say enough good things about the staff there and the care I received. Annette is… legitimately one of the most knowledgeable therapists I’ve ever met — you can mention almost any book or therapeutic concept, and she’s already read it and can discuss it thoughtfully. I learned so many skills from Annette’s groups. She is also deeply empathetic. Aaron, one of the nurses, has such a huge heart and genuinely cares about the patients. Jaimee, a behavioral tech, sat with me, held my hand, and hugged me while I talked about the loss of my son, a moment of kindness I will never forget. Maureen was always positive, attentive, and constantly checking in on everyone to make sure we were okay. I also really loved the yoga session with Jacob; it was one of my favorite parts of the program. I was specifically on the Sunrise Unit, so I can only speak to that experience, but they truly seem to have figured out how to create a compassionate and supportive environment. Most importantly, I felt heard. My treatment team listened to me, treated me like a person, and helped me through one of the hardest moments of my life. This is definitely where I would go if I was ever in crisis again.
I was hospitalized here for 8 days at the end of July, and this was easily the worst medical experience I’ve ever had. I didn’t see a doctor for the first 3 days. When I asked to leave to seek proper care, they filed… court paperwork to keep me there. My approved vegetarian diet (ordered day one) was not honored. Every single meal I was told “you’re vegan” and that my request needed approval—then asked for my name to “check if it was ordered.” This happened daily. I would sit through most of the meal time with nothing, only to be given scraps like an old PB&J, a plain vegetarian patty, or lettuce with a packet of ranch. Other patients even noticed and spoke up because of how poorly I was treated. When I asked for the correct food, staff talked about me loudly and disrespectfully within earshot, and I felt mocked. I only saw my assigned caseworker once, yet my family was told I was being seen regularly. Most concerning were safety issues—another patient’s vitals were charted under my name, and I was given blood pressure medication despite already having very low blood pressure. Disorganized staff, poor communication, and basic care were lacking. Patients deserve far better than this. I would strongly caution anyone considering this facility. But if nothing else you can count on them to bill your insurance for care that wasn’t provided and food that never existed.
If i could rate it lower i would... this place is traumatizing. I have been here 3 times each time was worst then the last. the first time they put me on the high risk unit due to lack of beds. a guy came into my room… naked saying he was going to rape me it took other patients to get him out staff was not around. the second time wasnt to bad I was placed in a unit fitted for me. the third time (I just relased) the third time was horrible, they again placed me on the high risk unit when they said they would not. once getting on the unit and going to bed someone screamed about raping someone all night, to say i got no sleep was an understatment. I have lots of physical issues and with that lots of meds the first few nights I didnt recive most my meds causing me to back track in my health. Im gluten free and they had a hard time accomading me. the staff is good and bad. the intake prosses takes way to long and same with discharging. over all I will never come here again
If I could give 0 stars, I most definitely would. I admitted my son the end of last year and it was absolutely the worst experience and set his mental health back. My son was physically assaulted numerous times, had… racial slurs thrown at him, was threatened and the ONLY reason that he was discharged was because he was targeted. These words came from the staff. When asked numerous times on what they planned to do and what do they do to correct the matter, they told me that I could file charges against the person that assaulted my child. This place does not help people, especially children!!! Do not take anyone you love here!!!
The "doctor" Ayesha Shaheryar is scamming people. She saw my daughter for 10-15 minutes each visit but charged for a full hour at $223.56. I have called Rocksprings and they tell me they dont have the doctors contact… info. I call the billing company and they say the same thing, and cant answer my questions. This is a scam!
i was admitted in september of last year, the experience was absolutely terrible. the food was inedible, either undercooked meat with blood still in it or overcooked toast that was so burnt it was black. they also… didn’t care about my food allergies, i am allergic to mangoes and they ran out of water for a day and decided to replace it with mango juice, which led to me being dehydrated. the night staff was incredibly rude and loud, it was impossible to sleep at night due to them loudly bickering all night and then denying it after. i asked to go to sleep early one night because of this and the night staff told me “don’t do anything stupid.” the therapist would usually only see us for 15 minutes at a time, and she billed my parents at a rate of $700 an hour. this place is extremely overpriced and they can’t even afford decent food, bedding, or staff. i do not recommend this place.
One of the worst experiences of my life and they charged me $12,000 for the displeasure. They placed me in a supposedly “mixed gender” unit, which was effectively all maIe except for me, and it made me very… uncomfortable. They released me with no medication, including the meds I came in with. To add insult to injury, they lost my laundry basket. The only reason I can’t give 1 star is because Heidi is such an absolutely lovely person. Thank you Heidi for making my hell a little more bearable. Love you
(Edited 4 years later) This place is one of the worst places to send your children if they are struggling. They will lock your child in a room and refuse to let you see them even if they were just released from a mental… health unit. Four years later I am traumatized by the experience I had here and would beg for any parent who thinks of sending there kids here to reconsider. When I was 14 I was going through a rough patch and instead of being supportive they locked me in a room while I was sobbing my eyes out begging for mother. They refused to let me go to the bathroom or see my mother for about 3 hours even though I was released the day before from dell children’s. Finally when they allowed my mother to see me, they threatened to put me in the program and wouldn’t let us leave till my mother threatened to call the police. This place was more traumatic than my actual mental health crisis and I hope this place gets shut down. I have to talked to many other behavioral health professionals about my experiences and they agree that this experience is unacceptable and horrible. DO NOT send your children here.
Don’t not bring your geriatric loved one here. The proper release forms were signed for me to have access. The facility will never answered the phone or gave me a call back. They also didn’t call me when they sent my… loved one to the ER. Go to Dell Seton ER instead they have psychiatric care there.
I have called every number to include the patient advocate number and no one answers the phones or returns any of my calls. The patient that is in there now is mentally in a very bad way and I his only point of contact,… cannot speak to an doctor, a nurse or anyone to find out his mental health condition. His parents are elderly and one is on dialysis and both depends solely on him at his house. I visited with him on 21 January 2026 and we could not have a serious conversation because he could only talk about something out of this world. I don't feel this facility is looking out for their patients as they advertise and definitely aren't keeping the family and patients contacts informed and updates. Rock Springs, whatever you have going on there is frustrating for myself and this patients parents.
Wouldn’t recommend for outpatient services. They do not care about their patients who are just a number to them. All that matters is if the bill is paid or not, and they offer no financial assistance or payment plans.… They’re inconsistent with groups, different therapists everyday, and sometimes even combined PHP and IOP together. If you’re looking for structure and stability- this facility is not it. You’re better off looking into another one.
Based on my personal experience, I do not recommend this facility, particularly for soldiers. I was referred here under the understanding that it was an all-female unit with female-focused care. During my stay, I… observed male staff working in the area identified as the all-female unit, which did not align with what I was told and made me uncomfortable. The doctor I interacted with (last name sounded like Nethereton/Netherington) came across as dismissive and unprofessional in our interactions. I did not feel supported during a time when support was critical. I personally became ill during my stay and had difficulty tolerating the food provided. Additionally, from my perspective, the staff appeared disorganized, and communication was often unclear. I entered the program seeking help for alcohol use, but the environment did not feel conducive to recovery for me. I chose to leave after 6 days because I felt my wellbeing would be better supported elsewhere. In my opinion, soldiers deserve safe, transparent, and supportive care when being referred off-post. This facility did not meet those expectations for me. “Staff present in the unit described to me as all-female during my stay.”
I was admitted in July or August, and it was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. There was absolutely no separation based on the severity of patients’ conditions. People who were violent were placed in… the same unit as those of us there for depression and anxiety. It was a disaster waiting to happen. A male patient violently attacked a doctor, and there were no male nurses on the floor. It took three or four female nurses struggling together just to restrain him. Watching that unfold was horrifying and made it painfully clear how unsafe this place really was. Another female patient stayed in the shower for over an hour, flooded her room and bathroom, then walked out into the common area completely naked. The unit was nonstop chaos—constant screaming, yelling, and fear. There was no sense of control, safety, or dignity for anyone there. What makes it even worse is how trapped you are. Do not let them “talk you into” being admitted. Once you’re inside, you don’t get to just change your mind and leave. If they decide you should stay, they will involve the courts and force you to remain there against your will. Because of this place, I will never step foot in another psychiatric hospital again—no matter how depressed I become. I have never felt so unsafe, so powerless, or so traumatized in a setting that was supposed to help me.
I was in the Sunrise unit. The best unit in the hospital in my opinion. I want to thank the entire staff, especially Mrs Gertrude, Ms Sabreelyn, Mrs Yemi, Mrs Nikki, Mr Aaron, Mr Carrey, Mrs Sabrina, Ms Jamie,… Christopher, Mrs India, Mrs Natasha and various other nurses, doctors and therapist that helped me along the way and set a path for me to continue on my journey. I met many wonderful women from all walks of life that made me feel seen and heard. My stay was the perfect. If you're in need of a reset or you need detox, this is the place to go and get just that. They also provide continued help when you're out.The food was okay. I knew it would be bland due to others dietary needs but a little salt, pepper and franks goes a long way, lol. I can't thank everyone enough.
Thank you all for your help! I hope I never have to come back, but if I do this would be the place for me. Thanks to all of the nurses, PCAs and therapists. Also, I'll miss Mr. Bill's fun groups (and bad jokes).
I'm not even kidding it was worse than prison None of the staff care The food is worse than prison food You don't do anything all day there's no learning Every other day you see random doctor that changes what the other… doctor before did it's useless it's absolutely useless I'm going to sue them for giving me PTSD and trauma
This place was horrible. It was terribly understaffed and most of the nurses were either pissed or just plain rude. The food was plain and sickening and I only got more suicidal as I stayed there. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
i was admitted here in august it was my first time ever being in a mental hospital and overall my experience was very nice i was in the sunrise unit, the staff was amazing & made me feel safe comforted and valid! i had… a really bad head injury and the staff & medical staff checked up on me everyday i got transferred from the ER where they didn’t even bother looking at my head injury so i was very appreciative of that! i’m now in the outpatient program which is also amazing i will say they definitely need better food but other than that it was amazing :)
I know someone that went to this facility and was treated very poorly. Dr. Elisabeth Netherton was her doctor and is a horrible doctor. I see this isn’t the first complaint about this so called doctor as I can see from… other reviews so I don’t understand why she is still trusted to be a doctor to patients that need good and delicate care. Also, the patient is 18 and was kept her against her will and I don’t see how that is legal. The doctor told her that if she didn’t keep taking medications that made her feel worse, they would never allow her to go home. They never tried to correct anything to make her feel better or more comfortable. It seemed they were just trying to manipulate her to keep taking meds she never even needed to begin with to make money. This place needs a serious state evaluation to get better care or it needs to be shut down.
