About Community Alliance – Omaha
Community Alliance operates from 7150 Arbor Street in Omaha. The site sits in Douglas County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include La Vista and Ralston. Nebraska draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Community Alliance
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

Community Alliance Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 7150 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68106, in Douglas County. The catchment reaches La Vista and Ralston. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

Came here during a bit of a crisis, or still running off the residual of crisis from a month ago... Met two very wonderful and helpful people. They're a great resource.
Completely and utterly useless. Absolutely 0 help for individuals and families in crisis. Will string individuals and families along for months only to turn around and tell them they don’t “qualify” for any sort of… assistance. Meanwhile, the person trying to get help is doing everything they can to get themselves on the right path only to have the rug pulled right out from under them. Great job taking care of mental health. Hope you are all proud of a job well done and feel great about all of the people you continually let down.
My mom was discharged from services. My family was told they are unable to help her and have no resources for her. There is no program she qualifies for and that she was not a good fit for the Arbor House. Mental… illness is one of the hardest conditions to live with. Families look to agencies for help, assistance, and being a bridge to resources. A few months ago they were gathering information to get her into Arbor House and now they can't. I'm truly baffled. Trying to find placement for my mom has been frustrating and difficult. This type of agency should not ever not have a resource for families. It's like we reached a dead end. More needs to be done. Absolutely unexceptable.
Good
Less then One star this place is backwards and inside out, never go here they will help you find nothing.
I have a Court Date in February at which the moment I stand before a judge I am naming Community Alliance and all employees I interacted with between 10/30/2025 and 1/01/2026 as accomplices to be questioned before trial… as I am Immediately requesting a public defender to tell my incredible factually backed by evidence story to about what transpired during the dates above leading up to the reason I’m required to appear in court.
This is for Safe Harbor (Carrie and Michele) From Michael Majorek (Lumberjack #1) I want to say from the bottom of my heart how thankful I am for Carrie and Michele. These two amazing ladies have truly made a difference… in my life. They both listen with care, encourage with kindness, and always treat people with so much respect. You can feel how genuine their hearts are just by speaking with them. When I was going through one of the most stressful times in my life, it was because of their support and compassion that I was able to keep going and overcome my challenges. They didn’t just do their jobs — they cared, they believed in me, and they reminded me that I wasn’t alone. Carrie and Michele, thank you for being who you are and for all that you do. The world needs more people like you.
Barley help …they feed their clients expired food , always in the back when they are needed, have no answers for anything They are not that great of a place to be, the staff and counselors could give a damn about you
I am in there Healthy transitions program and Harlee is my caseworker and she goes above and beyond to help me even when I am being hardheaded helps me when I cant help myself So I want to say I will keep recommending… them because if I am satisfied than I know others will be as well because I am hard to please
I wish I could give community alliance no star. I have been seeing a psychiatrist there that I genuinely like for about a year, maybe over a year. I saw her every 3 months. Every 3 months the front desk would give me… shit saying I was too “inactive” and give me the choice of coming in on a Monday between 2-3pm which is really, you need to be here by 2pm or we will not see you. I would have to cancel my son’s speech therapy to go to these appointments to get my meds and the same thing happened every month. Then they would give me a card saying dates of when to call to come in, never to make an appointment. And these dates always included weekends and when my psychiatrist was not in the office. These people are not here to help you and they gave me hell every time I tried to make an appointment like you would with any other doctors office. Couldn’t make it this week and now they won’t see me so Now I’m going without my meds. 3 months later, I’ve moved on and found a new doctor with my meds back on track. and community alliance is still calling me telling me how they won’t see me even though I don’t want to be seen by them now. Horrible management.
If you're a progressive person don't even try to go here to get any kind of assistance to help put yourself in a better position especially for falling on hard times it's only going to anger you what you find out in… order to get off the street you have to be homeless for a year in order to get any kind of help you need to basically prove you're in no good condition to receive any kind of help to be honest it's kind of backwards think it must be a democratic ran facility because I have two of three tools for success and I was turned away because I'm not quote on quote bad enough off yet I haven't proven that I can stay in one spot long enough to receive help but I have to stay there sitting there suffering for a year was a normal man in this country I'm likely to hurt somebody if I'm in that kind of a position for that long a time because I don't see the point of having to deal with that specially with all the rich people that donate money to these organizations specifically to help prevent homelessness rather instead they have criteria stating do worse and you'll receive help we need another Luigi over here
All I know is this place changed my life for the better. One of there programs helped get my life back on track. If it wasent for them I wouldent be here today.
If I come late to a class u turn me away. This is not college. RELAX! U know how hard it is for some people to even get out of bed? I make it to class and because I'm late u turn me away...there was even still seats.… Just sad. Some of these mentors and class instructors need some better training. This is not how you keep people coming
They are prompt to help and that deserves 4 stars.
Terrible place…The staff made me feel like I didn’t belong anywhere, that I was an outsider. Gave me anxiety and trauma, I still have nightmares.
And that’s someplace that provides you love warmth, health, and excellent mental health. They’re always there to stand beside you And lovely guide you an excellent place to meet all your needs that need to be met
David is the best. This place is awsome thanks for al your help, kindness and time !!
This place sucks I live in one of their house they teach coping skills and the staff don't follow suit with the skills they teach to us I've been disrespected discrimination and having a mental breakdown and no ones… available
I was a consumer in 1982. Through the years Community Alliance taught me that my mental health does not keep me from living a happy, joyful life. I love who I am and the greatest has been to use the life skills trust… and ask for what I need!
Terrible! is a Good example of a waste of tax payers' money. Corruption. They take medicaid money & squander it.
I am leaving this review based on my first impression. This review was left after my very first appointment! This place is a complete joke! Definitely would not recommend them for mental health concerns. Even though… you're supposed to have a right to what they prescribed to you and what you have to put in your body you have absolutely no say. They will prescribe you boost bar if you have anxiety. They are not willing to try any other avenues. This is a barrier to everyone's Healthcare who has anxiety or any other problem that they refuse to treat with medication that was specifically made for the problem at hand. Most times they will tell you that Benadryl will cure cancer. Not really but I'm using it as an example. If you have anxiety they will either prescribe you a blood pressure medicine or Busbar. Those are your only options. Dr Bowen what's my doctor and she refused to write my stimulant medication because I have a valid medical marijuana card for the state of Iowa and when I peed in their cup it showed up positive for marijuana even after in my appointment she was made aware of this and said it wouldn't be an issue
They help the people that most people have dismissed & turned there back on. If you are in need of a primary doctor. Or a Psych doctor. They can help you to get into one of there Partmentsbuntill your section 8 gets… approved. If you need help with furniture or appliances. If your down & out & need help to get on your feet that's Community Alliance .
