Akua Behavioral Health – Costa Mesa

Akua mind & body was the best experience I've had with impatient rehabs. I have been to a few and this place overall from my case manager Adam going the extra mile to Kendra my therapist who really listen and cared to… all the techs and nursing staff. treated me with deep compassion, dignity, and respect from day one.It was a chill peaceful environment provided the ideal space for healing. This center delivers the essential tools for long-term sobriety and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking recovery.

I came to akua expecting to recover, like I had before But when I arrived thing had changed from 2024 this new administration has failed to provide the right kinda service I arrived to a house that was serving chips for… breakfast lunch and dinner and left overs from other site to feed up this place is supposed be a detox place that can provide food and drinks and they have fail there's no food drinks in this place, it's also filthy the staff is of great help but Yasmin has fail to take care of this place by not ordering food

Has anybody been here and recovered from fentanyl addiction? If so, what is the program like and what did they use for the detoxification? How long was your wait? Period and what did they use Suboxone Subutex? I’m just… asking because I’ve been to so many treatment centers and they have all different approaches so I am just wondering what the approach is here at this treatment center, please and thank you.

The Akua rehab program experience is nothing short of a true blessing for those of us seeking help. The staff, classes, meetings, and process of the program were and is an undeniably imperative assistance to I along… with fellow clients that are humble to ask for help. Akua is definitely deserving of all praise in correctly being of service to the community and will forever be a blessing to my newfound joy in life and community thru sobriety.
