Avivo – Minneapolis Reviews and Ratings
Reviews are where patients and families describe Avivo in their own terms: the welcome at admission, the counseling, the planning for life after treatment.
Reading them is a sensible step before calling the Minneapolis facility. Writing one, if you have been treated there, helps the families who come next.
Greatful for the services but it seems that they do not take they're clientele seriouse for as theytake weeks to get back to you and pick and choose what to communicate with the client. Some of the people that work here… forget that we all have different stories and backgrounds never underestimate those tht are coming to need your services
Its alright but the neighborhood is not great, and the housing has issues that staff doesn't take care of.
Rhonda the program manager doesn’t care about what you’re going through, I said this because I’ve been in this program for ten years and throughout the whole time she knew about my mental and emotional abuse in the… relationship I’m in and didn’t show an ounce of care or understanding. I left to feel safe and told her I’ll be back once my mental was stable and she was extremely nonchalant and showed no signs of caring, I came back 6 months later and try to contact her, she blocked me and when I explained to the office what I was telling her, they just said we'll contact her and when she did, she acted as if we never talked about anything and made up so many false statements and reason and affected me so much more.
The students treated me like an out cast for the most part. Of course was in a passive aggressive way. Luckily, there were very few who genuinely was concerned. But I wish I knew this when I happened I would've never… stayed for this graduation. These folks made my mom & God mom feel like they were a bothersome for coming to support my graduating this program & y'all should definitely know who I am. But told them they couldn't sit in the room to watch my presentation because it might make the other people uncomfortable. Nobody elses loved ones had that same experience. This certificate just like MN is a joke & I don't need any of this fake redlining BS. You will use my skin tone & where I come from as a means to monetize, but never actually cared or gave me a chance as a human being. But I see that's the liberal way. Thought I loved this program, not at all, y'all no better than Trump. you are worse, because you act like you care.
Day 3 same person in the room smoking fetty. Yes she got ua when reported . Didn't mean nothing with the 4 chances thay get. And it's not ok. If my girl gets involved I want to get resources to get to that place and see… why it's not resolved. There not just a check. ! Come to find out today she fell into it because nothing was done when asked and she my girl od I taking her out today. And filed a complaint
I have never been to treat before, and I never judge a book by its cover. I went into this program with a blind eye but I’m glad I did because this program has changed my life. The staff, the counselors, the groups..… not only that it helped me heal with my family. Not a lot of place with let you have your children, allll your children no matter the age with you all at once. And give you a safe place. A safe place to be able to work on yourself. Very thankful and grateful for this program.
Trusting counselors and employees in a safe environment. I was a client there for a long time and they helped me rebuild myself through all my challenges! Helped in getting my kids back🫶 and im forever Grateful to them!
The representation wasn’t great, definitely did not feel supported or cared for. I am thankful for the funds because I was able to go to the Natural Hair Care Institute and graduate. Avivo drug their feet with paying… literally up until the day before class started. The entire process was stressful and made me feel like I had to beg for money, my taxes provide. It was like the money was coming out of the employee pocket!
This place treated me really bad with discrimination and racism. And I was assaulted by the staff at the csp Thanks for the hatred.
They advertise walk-ins but every time I “walk in” they can’t take me. You have to be there 30 minutes to an hour before the door opens to ensure that you would be taken. And even then they only take a small handful of… people. So basically even if you show up when the doors open, chances are you’re too late. It’s worth a try but don’t count on it whatsoever.
This company agreed to handle my housing but they walked me into the street and then they're packing company buried raw Chicken from my freezer in my storage locker that I paid for a public storage $200 a month and they… need gated to keep their agreement to remove my items from there after they housed me because I reported in abusive housing manager by the name of right Lisa I lost my therapist because of it they are not helping people get house they're picking and choosing who they want and I have video to prove the maggot-infested meat that was buried in my storage locker that I paid for with their agreement and last a whole nother housing agency because of it they are not the people to invest money in because they're not doing what they say
They rarely answer the phone and don't return phone calls!
I was working with them for my first year then the pandemic hit and wanted to move and my worker bri was supposed to help me get into the place and I've called and left her numerous messages and she never got back to me… left me in the worse time ever then three months later she returns my call back and says they are closing my case because there was issues with them and Dakota county she neglected me and getting into a place that I would have gotten into there terrible and if I could rate them a zero I would now I'm stuck without any help
Melissa the program Manager for baymomt. Does not have her staffs back at all. She needs to be fired ASAP. degrees don’t automatically mean qualified. The clients don’t even like her. Avivo needs to be union otherwise… trash like Melissa will continue to be employed
I graduated from BRF impatient and it was the best experience i ever had being only the first time I've been to treatment I was scared but the staff and women made me feel welcome I'd definitely refrer others to this… treatment center
The staff is awesome but the environment is not it is a lot work need to be done as far as what be going in and around avivo the food not good for you at all and it's not what they are suppose to serve at avivo it… suppose to be hot catered meals but instead they feed people meals on wheels and kiddie meals like corn dogs no stove so be prepared to buy hot plates crockpots electric skillet but they provides good hygiene stuff of course paid through our state funding so they is not giving you nothing it's paid through your state funding
This place is run by the ghettoist people I'd rather jus do my time then inpatient treatment fr fr
