Bella Nirvana Center Inc – Folsom

The facility was very prepared. They have both the house and a whole medical office within 5 minutes of each other. The residence was clean enough but could probably use a little more attention. The doctor was obviously… very knowledgeable and understands how to talk to patients and explain things in terms we can understand. I would like to highlight the counselor Angelica DePugh. She holds a very professional attitude and appearance which I appreciate from a provider. Angelica shows a true care for her patients in that she remembers what you say even down to little details like my service dog’s name (which I was separated from). She also understands that each patient is an individual and there is no one way to address all patients. I am thankful for my time at Bella and would recommend veterans in need to seek help through them.

I recently went to Bella Nirvana for substance treatment. I've never been to a rehab before but I was very impressed with the cleanliness & comfortable environment it has. It is very veteran friendly. As I mentioned, I… was impressed with the quality of care it provided as well.This goes for the entire staff. From the doctors, councelers, medical assistants & even the chefs. I feel the daily curriculum was very helpful. I was fortunate to have Angie as my counceler. Angie really went above & beyond to care for her clients. She provided very helpful group topics & classes. Angie showed great enthusiasm for her job. Their alcohol OPD program gave me clarity, confidence, and tools I didn’t even know I needed. The counselors are patient and encouraging, and the environment feels safe and uplifting. For anyone struggling and looking… for real help, this place offers hope and a fresh start.

I recently completed a 90 day Recovery program with at the Bella Nirvana Center. The Staff couldn't have been more welcoming and super accommodating. The MA's are all super friendly and helpful with anything you may… need. The Counselors are also super friendly and very informative, they will give you really great advise. The Counselors lead the daily curriculum Monday thru Friday, they guide you to the right resources when needed and will sit with you one on one to go over your recovery goals. I was also able to receive therapy sessions while I was there. The doctor and the psychiatrist are very knowledgeable on dual diagnosis and worked hard to make sure I had the right treatment. We were taken to attend AA and NA meetings on a daily basis that alternated. The chefs cook excellent food and I was there when the big orange tree in the back yard was in season so I ate all the oranges I could dream of, fresh off the tree!! The Yoga meditation classes were excellent, keeping me grounded and the instructor is super nice. The house mates and I made some great memories and had some great laughs while we were there, given the circumstances we made the best of it. I hope to be able to make it back one day for their Alumni meetings, have to take care of other things first. Thank you Bella Nirvana and all of the wonderful staff. 🤗🫶✌️🐈‍⬛🐈

All of the people who work here are very helpful and caring. They helped me to realize so many things about myself that I hadn't realized and then they showed me ways to continue to get better and stay sober.

This place saved my life!!! 10 out of 10 stars for sure, I came in after an overdose and the staff here helped me get back on my feet and truly grasp the true nature of the disease of addiction, the counselors here are… absolutely fantastic and are truly helpful, without the help of Kayla, Paige, and Mickey I might not have made it all the way through treatment, they helped me accomplish what seemed like impossible tasks, and the Doctors here actually care and listen and attend to your needs, Doctor K worked with my doctor at the VA and helped me get back on track with my medication and I feel great about moving on with a sober living. They all have provided me with the tools I need to stay on the path of recovery and I am truly grateful for all of there help and support!!! Thank you bella nirvana!!!!

Client here… came into Bella’s facilities A few months ago for an alcohol addiction, and felt that I had noooo hope! Took me a few days to come back to life, but with the help of the amazing knowledgeable… staff/consolers, it’s safe to say that I’m On amazing path to recovery. Not only did I complete 60 days of Rehab, I also moved into there sober living house, and life has changed in the best ways ever… this place is a 10 outta 10… looking for answers and a life flip in a great way…. This is your pearl! I’m a Veteran, they save me from my own internal war!

This place is awesome. 5 star food and housing. Yoga, acupuncture, and the park. MA's are cool, counselors are amazing and the doctor is really trying to help. I really got my life together and I'm real thankful for… that. It was pure veterans when I was there and that helped support my recovery. If you get the opportunity to go, just go.

I came in scared and addicted to fentanyl. The doctor here helped me get through the physical withdrawal and it was so much easier then I thought it would be. I tried over and over and over again to get clean and sober… on my own and I could not do it on my own. This place made it possible. I am clean and sober today thanks to this program and what they have done for me.

Dr. Krishna and the entire staff were incredible—truly dedicated… to the well-being of every patient. The food was delicious and nutritious, making the stay even more enjoyable. What stood out to me the most was the genuine kindness and compassion exhibited by the staff. The counselors were not only knowledgeable but also deeply invested in my recovery journey. Their commitment to helping me succeed was evident; they consistently went above and beyond, demonstrating their passion for what they do. Dr. Krishna was exceptional, providing me with continued medical support even after my treatment ended, at no cost. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about his patients’ health and recovery. Bella Nirvana helped my navigate the core reason behind my addiction with the help of Counseling and Phycologist, Yoga and Acupuncture. The staff is amazing. The staff is caring and invested in the recovery process. The… rehabilitation continued with PHP and IOP. Bella Nirvana saved my life. I get to live a sober life and says go manage my C-PTSD. I am forever grateful.

This place is garbage. I was given the wrong person’s medication three separate times and a medication I am allergic to as well. MA’s that drive by braille and working outside their scope. Counselors treat clients… terribly: exploiting trigger and blatant disregard for HIPPA. My counselor spoke to my county offices and disclosed that I was in treatment! Mostly veteran clients - treatment is subpar, clients are not allowed to speak to or go to VHA facilities and forced to go to to their clinics despite moral convictions. My insurance was charged $76,200 for 10 days of treatment (medication was separately charged & filled by VA Mather) to be fed in styrofoam containers with plastic utensils.

Thank you for taking single case agreements with Nevada county. Private organizations can help the community and those suffering. I wish all private rehabs would do this. Thank you

This treatment facility has no rules or treatment options listed on paper for all rules and regulations documented to hold the staff to a higher rate of excellent treatment.

I did the 45 day program here and the experience was great. Great structure, food, and very clean. the only thing I feel was an issue was the staff was a bit short handed at times and the counselors seemed a bit… overwhelmed with more clients then they could handle.

This place is amazing the staff and counselors truly work hard towards the clients wellbeing and recovery and do everything they can to help all veterans during their recovery period at Bella. Going to Bella for… recovery is truly worth it.

All I can say is I came out as a different person , overcame my addiction , and changed my life forever . Friendly staff , awesome program !

Nirvana really helped out with my addiction. On top of that they made it really easy for me to overcome my addiction. The staff is really friendly , they make you feel real good about yourself . The food is awesome as… well , and they take you out to do activities. I would definitely recommend .

Bella nirvana is such a great place for people that need help, they have very good MAs, counselors, chef’s, doctors and clients. They truly care about the clients and they always take there time to help with everyones… needs. Thank You Bella Nirvana staff for everything you do.

From the first day I stepped foot into the doors of Bella Nirvana I was given care I did not expect our believed I deserved. I was real broken and they could tell. They understand that we are not bad people trying to… get good, we are sick people trying to get well. I was shown respect, and love from all the staff. They helped me get my life back on track. I don't think I can ever thank them enough. There is something special about this place. The Doctor is experienced with all sides of the medical world and treats each patient according to what is needed. The medical assistants that work at the facility are attentive and helpful with more than just the medial side. They meet each client where they are and are understanding and experienced. If you are in a spot in your life where you believe you need this facility I urge you to take that first step. I promise it is worth it.

The Bella Nirvana Center is a facility that has really helped me to grow in not only my career, but also a person. It is refreshing to see how the staff truly try to go above and beyond for the clients. It is amazing to… see how the clients come in, do the hard work, and change their lives for the better.
