Daymark Recovery Services – Albemarle

I felt very comfortable & was very chill oh & the front desk lady I think her name was Tiffany she was great was there for about 4 hours she made sure I had everything I needed !

I’ve made being at this Class on Monday and Wednesday apart of my life I really enjoy every minute of it Stephanie is awesome everyone works with you for the greater good front desk does a spectacular job and I put in… the work to stay clean it takes a village and this village cares.

The ladies in the front office are absolutely amazing a huge shout out to Ms. Nikki upfront she has been so amazing and kind to myself and my son. Also Dr. Stephanie Washington is the absolute sweetest woman I have ever… met so genuine and kind I've never met so many sweet people in one facility.

Melissa and Nikki at the front desk are very helpful everyone that I've worked with has been wonderful this is a great place to go to if you need help or feel like you're part of community my care team is wonderful I… highly recommend

This place is supposed to help prevent mental illnesses. Instead it can possibly increase your anxiety levels to where your mental state needs can be altered. I had called before I came and was told they accepted… walk-ins of any kind. I asked if I need to bring any documents and I was told what was needed, which was what I brought. After being there a while waiting, I was told I didn’t have everything and that I had to obtain it before I could even schedule an appointment. Let me remind you, I wanted to be a walk-in or else I would have scheduled an appt for the services I needed, when I had called. Then raised my frustration causing a massive panic attack. I wholeheartedly do not recommend this place, and I’m only gonna continue with the assessment I need because this place is the only one closest to me to where I have proper transportation.

Recently, I have been feeling really down and pretty much without hope. My husband had sugested I should go to Daymark to see if they could help me. I went in the glass doors with tears in my eyes and fear in my heart.… I left dry eyed and ready for the next steps. They were Johnny on the spot! The next time I went in Nikki C. Actually waved at me like I was a welcome friend, not a basket case coming in on my last leg. She always smiles at me and makes me feel at home. Let’s not forget Melissa B. With her sweet disposition and cool glasses, they make quite the pair! Having people with a good attitude at the desk is awesome when you are in a sticky spot, they helped to ease the tension of the day! Thanks guys for doing what you do!

My TCM Brennan Dagenhardt always goes out of his way to make sure all my needs are taken care of. He not only takes the time to help but he also develops a close relationship to his clients. And therefore, for him I am… forever grateful.

Receptionist Melissa is rude and belittling and very condescending. I can not believe they have someone like that working the front desk of a mental clinic. With an attitude like hers it could cause someone who really… needs help not to get it. And she will blame you for the reason she is rude. If you need help, Melissa at Daymark will make it worse.

Brennan is really nice and does great at his job.

I like to the time I have been hear its been a blessing I'm talking about from the time I stepped in Jeff and Brennan has been a big help to me and I thank God and I thank the hold Team.

After years of procrastination for doing my DUI assessment I went to Daymark and did my assessment with Karlene Figueroa and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable she made me fell going through the process. She… was very respectful and kind it was a very pleasant experience for a bad situation. Thank you to the staff.

My experience with the SUD class was very smooth and I found it extremely helpful and always felt I was in a comfortable and relaxed setting. Knowledgeable and professional. Although the Moore county location was a… little lax on even knowing what and SUD class was. Calling in I didn't even know if I had contacted the correct place. Basically hello what's your name. But over all I was pleased once the classes began.

Today I brought my son, 1st impressions are so important, Daymark in Albemarle has THE BEST customer service, professionalism, hospitality that I have seen in a very long time. We are new to NC and the Staff here made… us feel VERY comfortable, offered water, snacks, made sure I was comfortable while waiting. I highly recommend this establishment to whomever may need the assistance.

Need help with mental health issues but can't receive the depression medication I need because they "can't prescribe certain medications". It's basically a junkie recovery place where junkies have a place to talk about… feelings. If you really need help with actual mental health issues, I'd advise to not come here

Horrible, took forever to get me back there. The front desk lady is laughing with her coworkers while I sat here for 3 hours straight in the chair just for them to tell me there’s 5 people in front of me while there’s… no one in the lounge with me. Horrible customer care and the experience was just horrendous in general.

Unprofessional staff, with an unwelcoming and rude receptionist. The itinerant counselor who does in-person intake assessments refused to reveal her credentials or last name when asked and only identified herself as… "I'm Stephanie, the clinician." I'm a health care provider who mentioned Daymark in Albemarle NC to many patients over the years. I am horrified that they treat people that way, and would never send them there again. During the intake session, Stephanie the "clinician" also violated HIPPA by sharing with me details of her frustrations with an established female client who I then met in the reception area. Utterly unacceptable and damaging. She abused this client's trust when she was supposed to help and protect her.

Aside from the ideological difference of opinions for recovery that i have with some of the policies this place is great. Stephanie my counselor is second to none. She adds a very personal hand in the recovering… process. A no bullshit, no holds bar approach that many recovering addicts need. In very thankful for my opportunity i have to share my process with Stephanie and staff. Keep up the good work.
