FOCUS House – Lawrenceburg Detox and Rehab Services

FOCUS House – Lawrenceburg is recorded as offering residential treatment, intensive outpatient and sober living. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Mental health and substance use are handled together rather than in sequence. Transitional accommodation appears on the record for the period after intensive treatment. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Private-pay rehab in Indiana typically costs $5,500 to $22,000 a month for residential treatment, $2,500 to $8,000 a month for an intensive outpatient program and $1,000 to $4,500 a month for standard outpatient care. Those are state-level figures, because RehabSeekers did not find published prices for FOCUS House – Lawrenceburg at the time of writing.

I have been a patient here for a long time, I have never had my meds be right. They switched my meds every month to two months for over a year and they put me through switching doctors multiple times. Their most recent… offense consists of no phone call returns when you call their medline which is supposed to get you a call back within 48 hours. I called three times a couple weeks ago all 48 hrs apart each time and never received a call back so my wife got ahold of their supervisor and I then received the call I had been waiting for over a week for. They had an excuse tho, don't worry, they said my phone calls went straight to voicemail and then my voicemail was full. Which was a lie because I had received a phone call and a voicemail from my lawyer that same week two days prior. I guess it was magic that made it finally go through the day they called me and not us calling their supervisor. I am now writing this because it is happening again I called five days ago to the medline and still have not received a call back. When your patient literally can't deal with everyday things and is struggling beyond what you thought you could physically handle this behavior is wreckless and irresponsible. They are playing people's lives and should be shut down.

Taking away someone’s mobility aid is a hate crime. It can be classified as such since none of the other patients were treated like me. They treated me like any other patient until they found out I was disabled and need… assistance. They refused to assist someone in crisis because they were not calm. If you have any condition or issue that keeps you from being calm 24/7 then this is not the facility for you. Admitted myself and asked for help numerous times and was ignored. I am semi-ambulatory and when my chronic pain flares up it can be so bad that I can’t move my legs. They ignored me asking for help for 5+ hours on the first morning and treated me sub human from then on. On the second day there, they took my mobility aid (wheelchair) away and made me drag myself on the ground in front of the other patients and the staff. On both days They took away my food when I wasn’t done eating, they didn’t give me my meds, they wouldn’t even give me an over the counter allergy med that I had brought with me. I had called back to see if there were any changes and they essentially said that because I wasn’t perfectly calm and happy that they weren’t going to help me.

Great service, as long as you put in the work and are determined to listen to what they are telling you.

I called this morning and spoke to Brandi. Such a relief to finally talk with someone whom I felt comfortable doing so. She said (abt 8am) that she would call me in abt 16 hours (abt Midnight) to check on me. About 17… hours later, I called and asked to please speak to Brandi. Jessica answered and said Brandi was there. But it was "against policy" to switch calls. Someone is "seriously struggling" and simply asks to talk to a person that they feel comfortable with....Does that sound like rational truth to anyone?? I waited abt 7 minutes and called back; only to hear Jessica repeat the same lie/ nonsense. I simply said to Jessica that, "Not all guy are creeps. I just wanted to talk with someone with whom I felt comfortable." Making unsubstantiated guesses on someone's well being And assumptions about a caller's safety is potentially unwise. Return calls when promised And transfer a call when it will help someone. InCompass lies, displays immaturity, and is unprofessional. How is transferring a phone call a "safety concern for staff" ??

Very professional office. Receptionist is very sweet and helpful. Smiles as soon as you walk thru the door. The nurses are very good and make you feel welcomed. Monica is very sweet and kind. She actually listens to… what you have to say and she makes sure you are taken care of. Makes sure the diagnosis is right. Whatever testing needs done she gets it taken care of! Best Drs office I've been to and I recommend anyone and everyone to go see Monica at Harmony Health!

I'm not very happy. They keep pushing invega when I am now receiving vitamin B-12 shots...which are cost effective and all the more effective. I have Schizophrenia. Well, that's what I was diagnosed with. No one around… here seems to question anything. Anyway, I just wanted to post a review. Just know that your rights are still in tact. No one can take you away from your home and declare a grievance for doing the right thing.

Great local first point of contact. I would also highly recommend the local national alliance on mental illness as a trusted resource for care options and family support

Do not go to this horrible counseling center. They will tell you one thing and tell your service manager another just to cause problems and get that money. Even my doctor said every child that goes there comes back with… a so called diagnosis of PTSD. Ptsd....really? In kids who were fine before they went there, seems as if they are the ones causing PTSD in kids. There are several other options in the area, so even if your insurance requires a referral to go some place better, then do it! Protect your family. Try dch behavioral health services in lawrenceburg, whitner counseling in Lawrenceburg, or lifeworks in Batesville, or Franciscan counseling also in Batesville. Protect yourself and your children. Good luck!
