AppleGate Recovery – Fort Mitchell

I absolutely love this place and the people that work here. It’s my first time in recovery and my providers here, first Cynthia, who was so supportive of my journey and helpful, and then the lovely Chelsea has just been… so amazing and helpful as well. So kind and personable and they seem like they genuinely care! And the front desk staff are wonderful too and always willing to help and go out of their way which I’ve really appreciated. The counselor I meet with as well is so friendly and makes me laugh with her sense of humor. I am SUPER happy I chose this place even if it is a bit of a drive for me, it was the perfect choice.

Great recovery team. Friendly, caring and treat you like a person, not just another number walking through the door. Highly recommend if you're serious about your mental and physical health.

I ended up not being a patient there, but they still reached out to my doctor's for medical records without informing me. I ended up having to get a new doctor because of this.

Applegate has been a godsend. They are amazing people. They really care about me and my sobriety. I've never had this kind of support before. Amberly T., is my case manager and she has been great, she has helped me… every step of they way. I really don't know what I would do without her!!!! I can't go without mentioning Dr. Britt, he is so kind, understanding, and compassionate. He loves helping his patients succeed in there goals.

This use to be a great place when Dr.park was alive. He died 2 months ago and since has been down hill. They keep you there hours after your appointment time waiting to be seen. It use to be totally different. The… doctor now puts Dr.park down every visit since. Which has been 2, today would have made 3. But i didnt go because I took covid test and tested positive and was told, it did not matter come any ways or no medication. This blew me away, Also found out the whole time my insurance was excepted when they said it was not. Ive paid out of pocket this year right at 4000 dollars.....it is now 2 months later I've returned to this office. I switched doctors and she us absolutely the best person ever. And since returning they are in the process of returning my money. And the ones that were there causing this problem is no longer there. So once I recieve my money I will let you know to see if it actually comes through. Sorry took son long to get back on here. It's now July 2025, and Chelsea sparks is the best doctor there could be. She's there to listen and to help you in any way she can. I wish all doctors was like her

Dr Chelsey and staff are amazing, they are very good at their jobs. They make you feel comfortable in making a decision to get clean and don't make you feel like you are a addict. Thanks to them I have a better life.

Staff is great! Warning to anyone because they don’t tell you this until you say something, you will ruin your teeth and spend & do everything you can after it’s to late!!! A lot of things have changed there also.

(Before I write this just fyi I have severe anxiety like bad I have to make myself get out of bed and convince myself everything will be fine ) The staff is beyond disrespectful they consider their time is 100000x more… important than theirs if you dare ask a question you feel like your intruding. I have a shy bladder which goes hand in hand with my anxiety and man it doesn’t help especially when the nurse is in there with you or and decide to carry on a conversation or better yet your finally ready to go but they need a cig break. I let them know before head I had problems going with my nurse practitioner Megan and the doctors from my last place made them aware she said it was no big deal and it keeps happening I’d just have to meet with the director (Megan was the only one that made me feel mildly comfortable and acted like I was a human she honestly cared about my treatment plan and acatively tried to find me resources rather then just asking how I was paying for said treatment). I said ok I’m willing to do that and meet the director they said oh he sick sorry and then handed me a list of other places and told me I’m no longer welcome here. It’s not like Im trying to hide my results they gave me a mouth swab which I passed but said that wasn’t good enough not to mention I have 3 years of clean results. I think these “Girls” that are at front are on a gossip trip and and have favorites amongst patients so they give them special treatments it’s completely unacceptable that they hold their ability to not feel sick over ppl heads bc I’m its first time they experienced it Not to mention they severely ruthlessly gossip about almost every patients the second they leave it ls a Very unprofessional environment and now I have no way to get my medicine. I’m not a criminal I’m not on probation I have no drug chargers so why do I have to jump through the same hoops as those convicted felons and drug court persons

BEWARE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE I COULDN'T GIVE NOTHING. My "person" has been going here for about 4 years with no issues....until today! Her Dr. quit, if that tells you anything, and she was stuck with… a Nurse Practitioner. She went in, did her drug test as usual no problems. Then she went in for the appointment part and they wanted her to sign releases so they could talk to her primary care physician and tell him she was in recovery. They wanted to take her off her meds and put her on one that she is allergic to.They are changing things in a big way and do not care about your suffering. They do not care about your privacy. They only care to take your money. This kind of attitude and stress that they put on her was uncalled for and this goes against everything recovery. She did not one thing wrong! They make you pay up front and then they don't provide the services that they are contractually obligated to provide, provided you are doing what you are supposed to, and have been agreed on and refuse to refund your hard earned money. Nurse practioners are hired because they are cheaper than doctors but in my experience they get the "God complex" and think too much of themselves. I think they're mad because they have all that education but they're not actually doctors, they're playing doctor.Heed my warning or you too will find out the hard way. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! UPDATE: By the end of the business day we got a phone call and they did actually refund the money. It still does not excuse the way things are being ran. People that go there need help not more problems. Now she has to find another doctor and hope she can get in before she starts going through withdrawals.

Good place to find sobriety.

I just started about a week ago an I an thankful for places like this

I went there yesterday for my first appointment. The male dr is absolutely horrible he made me feel like the size of an ant. He told me that if I was in need of liver transplant, that since I'm addict that he would… wanna give me a new liver because it would be a waste!!! So he would let me die cuz there is a chance of relapse. I fo not recommend see the male doctor here. I'm 32 days clean an he is already talking about cutting my dose down, mind you thats how I relapsed in the 1 st place.

Applegate staff is a wonderful place. The staff truly cares about their patients. The atmosphere is always positive and upbeat!

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They have always went out of their way to accommodate any needs.

Great staff, great doctors, I’d recommend everyone to this facility.
