Ellie Mental Health – Fort Mitchell

Worst practice and ethics I have been involved with. After my therapist changed practices, Ellie mental health hit me an invoice that was not agreed upon. They then somehow had managed to keep my card on file even… though I removed it from their payment platform. They began charging me 100 dollars every few days and wouldn’t even respond to my multiple attempts of contacting them. Predatory and unforgiving is the best way to explain this practice

Ellie has the most attentive staff!!

I am an addiction counselor, working in MOUD treatment. There are times, I provide referrals to my clients for their mental heath needs and I have highly recommend Ellie. I was told by my clients they were pleased with… their services and feel it was beneficial for their mental health needs. I feel after visiting there myself, it seemed to be a warm welcoming environment where all people are welcomed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend Ellie to everyone. I have known clinician, Dara for several years. She’s an amazing clinician who cares very much about her clients and coworkers. Her attention to every client’s needs is one of her many strengths.

The staff is welcoming, professional, and genuinely cares about their clients’ well-being. The counselors create a safe and supportive environment. The clinic is well-organized, appointments are easy to schedule, and… communication is always prompt. Never any wait times. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking compassionate, effective counseling support.

Love coming to Ellie feels like an extension to our family. Brooke is definitely more than just our therapist!! I would refer her to anyone needing someone to talk to! She cares and is always respectful and gives the… best advice to those in need.

A great place to seek therapy services with excellent clinicians!

I've had only good experiences and learned alot so far and expect to keep doing so. I've not had any problems with hidden fees or money.

I went to this place for a mental health day. Thought I'd treat myself, you know? So I ordered a large pizza and they told me they didn't sell pizza, that they were a therapy clinic. I said, "oh that's fine" and asked… to have a physical done. But they said they're a therapy clinic, not a regular clinic. Okay. So I asked for a muscle massage and they told me it was mental therapy, not physical. Well by this point I was really hungry and impatient that my pizza hadn't arrived so I just huffed and left. On the drive home I saw some awesome birds and it calmed me down considerably. In retrospect, I think my blood sugar was just really low that day and I was a little harsh. My bad. 5 stars because I worry I was rude to the person I spoke to, but don't go here expecting reliable food service.

Ellie Mental Health offers a welcoming therapeutic environment. They have friendly and knowledgeable clinicians who put the care of their clients first and will work with you until your concerns are met! Definitely… recommend this caring practice

I don’t know how this place hasn’t been reported yet. I’ve worked somewhere in the health field before and I’ve seen many things they are not following correctly. It’s terrible this place calls themself caring when they… break rules of the field and they don’t have consideration for clients. There are plenty of counseling services in the area. Save yourself time and don’t bother with this one. KY mental health system isn’t very good anyhow. Ohio is far more experienced which is even why they have a lot more to offer if you look up how many options you have for that and with more impressive reviews. Anything brain related from mental health to neurology KY places are not worth it and are only followers of Ohio who have research places like UC and children’s to be ahead of the game. You will be dragging your feet here compared to a facility in Ohio. With the reply. Who? Why are you just assuming something? This goes to show this place professionalism with assuming without asking.

We had a great experience there! My teen got the support and help they needed, communication with us was great, and easy scheduling. Definitely recommend it!

Went and saw Michael Boutet. Save your time these people aren’t really specialized in what they say. They just want money. I saw Michael because of my domestic violence experience and it was hard to open up but he got… impatient and even raised his voice at me. Anyone who specializes in trauma and domestic violence should know that’s not okay because us victims deal with voices being raised all the time and it’s a trigger. If you’re trying to heal don’t go here. Certainly avoid for trauma. They don’t know what triggers are and the would probably run someone with trauma ptsd to the ground like someone who came out of trafficking alive and needs extreme gentle patience.

If I could rate less than 1, I would. Said at what this place has become, a money pit.

So beyond disappointed with the hidden charges and fees. We loved our therapists but the bills—after being told insurance would cover it were ridiculous. In the several hundreds. I am a single mom. Several times I’ve… been told I missed appointments that are documented no where. I called September 30th and was told I wouldn’t be charged or have anything else scheduled moving forward. Welp! We haven’t seen anyone at Ellie since the summer and I just again, randomly got hit with five charges in one month. I asked and was told we still have a balance to pay off? Find somewhere more transparent with charges. This is not the place if you are financially barely keeping up with life. They will drown you and make no apologies.

Find somewhere else. This place is only about money. If you call with plenty of notice you still get billed between 50-150$. My daughter was in therapy at Ellie I ended her sessions because a more qualified therapist… became available. At the time I ended services I had no balance. 4 weeks later I receive a charge for 63$. Again, find somewhere else.

Looking for new therapist and homeless case manager

The amount of positive change and emotional intelligence gained from taking my son to Elle is priceless. My boy went from tantrums, screaming and breaking things, to using “I feel..” statements and self-governing… himself before needing intervention, which he asks for now. Mia and the team of mental health professionals are very loved by my children and I highly recommend them to anyone of any age.
