I came to shoreline at 58 years old after countless rehabs and after care/sober living programs one was in the same county of San Diego threw all the programs that I went to I’ve never got the care, awareness, and self… knowledge like i did threw shoreline I experienced lots of trauma by living in a war torn country and coming to the us at 14 with no family. The amount of information, love and tolerance, that was shown to me by all staff members at shoreline is beyond anything I can express * i can truly say that I owe the rest of my peaceful life to the wonderful and caring staff at shoreline

Shoreline is a great place for recovery. The staff is very empathetic and truly care about their clients. Most of the staff are also in recovery which really makes the feedback relatable and helpful. I had an amazing… experience with shoreline from the housing managers, the staff at the center, and the facilitators. I learned a lot about myself in the 1 on 1’s and it helped my relationships and happiness overall. I would definitely recommend shoreline for people seeking recovery.

I've been attending Shoreline for nearly 3mths. For the most part, staff is geniune and helpful. Before coming to Shoreline, I've had many Dr's appointments do to a concussion and they have worked with me on attending… my requirements without having to miss any medical appointments. I was hesitant at first but decided I wanted to completely start over on my sobriety goals and feel that I picked the perfect spot. Besides it being in my beautiful San Diego, there are a ton of meetings near by within bike distance is you prefer. If you are without any means of transportation, they have vans that not only take you to and from groups, but some of the local meetings as well. They offer sober living/ residental accommodations as well so you can get a package deal. Remember the most important thing is your sobriety and you want to choose a healthy and accountable environment. Last point, I'm giving an honest review. No B.S.. can honestly not think of anything to complain about.

Shoreline was my first and last treatment center in 2018. There are people who care and trust worthy here and that is what matters most. 8 years sober now and I am extremely grateful for Shoreline giving me the tools… and resources needed to give my self a chance in my recovery succeeding.

Great recovery program was never able to put much time sober together until I went to shoreline I just celebrated a year a few weeks ago never could of done it without all the great people and staff I met while in… shoreline definitely recommend it for anyone who’s ready to change their life for the better!

After having many trips to treatment programs I found the best facility in San Diego. I was able to retain the tools I needed to recover while having support from every staff member.

Shoreline is second only to aTon based on luxury. Shoreline saved me from myself. After many many years of substance abuse I started out at Mt. Sinai in Dahlonegah, GA, another excellent facility, and prayed and… received the miracle that is Shoreline. Daily groups become something you look forward and putting in the hard work is rewarded here. The staff is Excellent. The owner is in recovery. If you Need to Sober up. This is the place. I could mention many staff names but enjoy the anonymity that is Recovery in a town with 250 meetings in under 25 miles. Living there full time afterwards, I found out isn’t realistic unless you’re wealthy. Encinitas and the neighborhoods with the Yogi’s retreat grounds on the sea and numerous cultural and spiritual opportunities, if this is what Sobriety looks like I can’t imagine a finer place to heal and overcome one’s mental and physical limitations. God bless these folks! Thank you to the staff and administrators. I know it wasn’t easy for either of us in my particular situation. I’m closing on 15 months of sobriety. No rehab can give positive numbers but I can attest that Shoreline changes lives. Update! It’s May 15, 2024. I’m now one year and seven months sober by the grace of God. As the times passed, I’m more grateful every day that I had the chance to start over at Shoreline. The staff is incredible. You have every opportunity to take and rebuild yourself for as long as you need. The owner is a good person who’s got skin in the game, if you know what I mean. Wharf Rats! This was my first time in a recovery, shoreline was referred to me from the detox place I started at. When I was picked up they sent a house manager to get me and he really started to ask question and seemed really… sincere, when I arrived to the house I was greeted by some of my soon to be roommates and it was amazing how they all seemed to make sure I was good, alder if I needed food or go to the store? They pretty much made me feel very welcomed. Then I started doing the groups and learned a lot about myself! My one on ones with my therapist really made a big difference and I was able to get through a lot of trauma that was the underlying of root causes to some of my addictions. Since I graduated the program and starting to reintroduce myself to regular life. I have no cravings. If I think about using they come and are gone as fast as they came. I have to say that it was the development of the tools and all the classes and group settings. They really help me get through this and prepare me mentally to think of life in a different aspect and realize that I’m how much better person in sobriety than I ever was in my addiction and I’m grateful for everybody at Shoreline counselors therapist staff they all have made a big impact on the person that I am today and moving forward. I highly recommend this place not only is it an amazing place, but they also show you and teach you how to have fun in sobriety.

They not only care for you individually, but give you the tools to take the next steps in your recovery journey. They challenge… you to become the best version of yourself through group therapy, individual therapy, and sober living setting. Very structured. They are impeccable for setting you up for success.
