Starlite Recovery Center – Center Point Detox and Rehab Services
The register shows Starlite Recovery Center – Center Point providing detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Supervised withdrawal comes first, with the greatest danger in the opening seventy-two hours. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

230 Mesa Verde Drive East, Center Point, Texas, 78010 is the address held. Center Point sits in Kerr County. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. The practical question of getting to appointments week after week is worth thinking through at the outset.

nephew went here last month just “graduated” and consistently had issues with clients stealing all the time and was not getting much time with staff. insurance only covers about 2-3 weeks so he really has no foundation… upon leaving. now scrambling for aftercare. disappointed
This placed saved my life and introduced me to a world that was hidden in plain site: a community of selfless people everywhere that are apart of Starlite or have been clients of Starlite. Starlite's help, their staff… from top to bottom, have done the impossible task of getting me back on feet and with hope in my mind that I can do this. I recommend them, their location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, their curriculum is so packed full of knowledge and help, their counselors are selfless and extraordinarily intelligent. The doctors here have expertise and experience working in this field. They have knowledge and the experience on how best to comfort and treat people struggling with substance and or alcohol abuse. I beg anyone who's struggling to give this a place a try. They have many great modalities of treatments available. Best rehab in Texas.
Met the love of my life here
I’m truly grateful for my experience at Starlite Recovery Center. The support, encouragement, and sense of community made a meaningful difference in my journey. A special thank-you goes to the Journey Bible Study group.… The group provided a wonderful space for faith, reflection, encouragement, and fellowship. I especially want to recognize Mrs. Peppa for her compassion, guidance, and dedication. Her kindness and commitment have been a blessing. I’m also incredibly thankful for the Operation Liberty Retreat program. It was a powerful and meaningful experience, and I appreciate everyone who worked to make it possible. A very special thank-you to Mrs. Jill and Mrs. Sabrina for their care, encouragement, and the genuine heart they put into the program. Their support and dedication truly stood out. Thank you to everyone at Starlite Recovery Center who continues to help people move forward, find hope, and build a better life. I’m grateful for the people I met, the lessons I learned, and the experiences that have helped me along my journey. Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough good things about Starlite Recovery Center. This place truly helped save my life. I came here on a path of death and destruction, and Starlite gave me the opportunity to reset my life, clear my head,… and honestly look at what I was doing to myself and the people I love. One of the most important parts of my recovery was rebuilding my relationship with God, and I cannot give enough credit to Ms. Pepper and the Journey Program. The Journey Program became much more than just another class for me—it became a major part of my recovery. Ms. Pepper is an amazing woman with an incredible knowledge of God and the Bible. What makes her special is her ability to take Scripture and explain it in a way that connects directly to real life, addiction, recovery, forgiveness, and becoming the person God is calling you to be. She doesn’t just teach the Bible—she helps you understand how to actually apply God’s Word to your life. Through the Journey Program, I learned that my recovery could not just be about staying sober. I needed to rebuild my life on a stronger foundation, and for me that foundation is God. The program helped me strengthen my faith, find hope and purpose again, and understand that God had not given up on me. I truly hope the Journey Program continues to grow because I believe what Ms. Pepper is doing can change lives. God deserves the credit, and I am incredibly thankful He used Ms. Pepper and the Journey Program as part of changing mine. My counselors, Sabrina and Jill, were also a huge part of my recovery. Their dedication, compassion, and knowledge of addiction and military trauma are incredible. They didn’t just focus on the addiction—they helped me dig deeper, identify the root of my problems, and build a plan for moving forward. They genuinely care about the people they are helping, and that made a tremendous difference for me. The nursing staff was amazing as well. They treated me with kindness, respect, and compassion and made sure I was cared for throughout my time here. Starlite gave me something I desperately needed: the opportunity to stop, reset my life, and choose a different path. I walked into Starlite headed toward death and destruction. I am walking out with a stronger relationship with God, a clearer understanding of myself, tools for my recovery, hope, purpose, and a new direction. To Ms. Pepper, Sabrina, Jill, the nursing staff, and everyone at Starlite who played a part in my journey—thank you. This place helped save my life, and I will forever be grateful.
My experience while at Starlite was overall positive. However, all potential clients need to be forewarned that they have basically shut down all alumni support. They let their amazing alumni coordinator go a few years… ago (cost savings?) and the new individual supposedly assigned to those duties does not respond to emails or queries. It's a real shame, because supporting clients after they leave the facility used to be a high priority for Starlite, but now it's nothing more than a perfunctory afterthought to them. Beware. ** Responding to Starlite's Comment ** You did not provide an email address for "gathering" the information from me, so I don't know if you want it pasted here. However, for starters you have an individual listed on your website as the official "Alumni Coordinator", along with their email address. I have reached out to this person three times over the last three months with a simple question regarding dates/plans for this year's Alumni Reunion and have not received a single response. This is one very basic concern that could/should be addressed posthaste.
At first I liked it here but after I went to the hospital for being hypoxic and I started complaining about the other clients vaping inside, of course then I was the bad guy. Also was told I need a doctor's order before… they could give me a second pillow! Staff doesn't enforce no vaping inside! Some staff care, the admission process shouldn't take 2-3 hours imo!
One star. This is not a place for real recovery. From firsthand accounts shared by patients (many of whom have been locked up and know exactly how these things work), people are regularly bringing drugs in and engaging… in illegal activity on the property. Staff does little to nothing to stop it. Family members who enable are allowed to sneak substances inside. If you’re looking for a facility that actually prioritizes sobriety and safety, look elsewhere. I would not send anyone I care about here.
My sister just got admitted here, and I am proud to say, she’s finally getting her life back together for the sake of her kids, the family and herself!!! I can’t wait to see why the future holds! 🙏🏽👏🏽🫶🏽
I went here in 2020. Don't go here there racist against black people. They treated me like they didn't want me there the first day. Especially this white guy who was supposed to be my counselor. We had a meeting for him… to do the rest of my enrollment paperwork together. I waited for him but he never showed. Then he came around a hour later. He told me I was late for group. I said we were supposed to do the rest of my enrollment. That's why I been waiting here. He didn't care and still trying to make it seem like it was my fault. Then he walked away and said, some people come here for the wrong things. I said excuse me. Then later that same day that white guy lied and said I cursed him out. He said he wasn't lying. Which he was lying because I never cursed anyone out. I literally just got there it was my first day. Then when I walked past him , he turned around and said you were about to hit me . I said no I was not. I was on the way to speak with a manager. I just kept waking to the main office and told them everything. However the manager wasn't there. They said she was a lunch. I waited over a hour in the hot heat for her to come back. Finally she did. The then she said I going to need you to leave. I told her I didn't explain what went on my side of the story. She said I don't care I heard what went on from my staff members. I told her those staff members were treated me badly including that white guy. That white who was a counselor was being racist to me. She kept interrupting me and saying I don't care what you have to say. That she trust her staff. Then I went off on her. I said, are you serious right. I have a right to complain if there a problem I didn't due anything wrong. I just got here and the way your treating right now is unacceptable. Your a racist too. I told her Ive been to other rehabs and Ive never been treated like this. She was the head manager at the time.
My experience at Starlite Recovery Center was extremely disappointing and concerning. During intake, staff inventoried and photographed my belongings, including approximately $100 in cash and my prescription… medications. When I decided to leave, my money and medications could not be located and were never returned to me. I was also left alone in a room for nearly two days with little to no meaningful interaction from staff. Communication was poor, and when I requested to leave, I was initially told I had to remain for several more hours. The most alarming part of my experience was that property that had been accepted, documented, and supposedly secured by the facility went missing, and no one could provide answers or accountability. Missing prescription medication is a serious matter, and I left feeling ignored, frustrated, and unsupported. This review reflects only part of my experience. I sincerely hope Starlite Recovery Center takes these concerns seriously, investigates what happened, improves its procedures, and ensures that future patients are treated with greater care, communication, and accountability.
Starlite Recovery is an excellent place to go for anyone stuck in active Alcohol, Drug or other types of Addiction. They also specialize in treating a variety of Mental Health Conditions. The Liberty Program for 90… Days, was exactly what I needed as a Military Retiree with deployment related MH issues, like a severe sleep disorder, Anger, and Anxiety issues, on top of my Alcohol and Drug Addiction. Active, Retired, Guard,Reserve and Veterans, as well as First Responders are welcome, and the Admissions process is excellent. Chelsea F will help you as she did me to figure out any financial overages. The Housekeeping girls, especially Ashley and Josie all were really thorough, and always ensured my room was immaculate and supplies/linens were replenished. The Liberty Program Counselors, were on top of their game, allowing me to feel, and use my own creative mind to do it my way, while ensuring I stayed as long as I truly needed to, without judgement. They really fight for you!! I had a tailored treatment plan from day one; I knew my goals, and the standards, and we agreed upon aplan to get me there , that plan was updated weekly, and loaded with plenty of balanced materials, there was a lot of personal time to exercise, or have fun, as long as we were attending our required classes. The different treatment modalities, included CBT, DBT, CPT, Equine Therapy, Anger Mgmt, a whole lot of Mindfulness, and as EMDR. individual Counseling sessions were done weekly plenty of o For those who needed Family Therapy, it is available thereas well. Teresa and Jill do a unique and wonderful job, so did Kevin and Agusta. At the Starlite Chapel, Rev. Brian T., hosts a weekly Sunday, Non-denominational service; he is available for on call emergencies. The Chow Hall was great, Joy and Staff did very well to feed us on time, and on target!! The tech, especially Jan, Dylan,Jazmine, Heidi, Tory, and others were vigilant in their jobs, keeping us all safe and accounted for. I have no regrets about going to the Premier Treatment Center of the South. Starlite has been there for me five times, this time it stuck. Lastly Jaine n Barbie were instrumental in assisting me with the placement at the Veteran Program I am currently in in Amarillo, tx that will my long term sobriety, housing placement and Continuing Education. Thank you Starlite Staff for saving my life, and honoring those we've lost along the way. God Bless all of you.
I was a part of the Liberty/cover six program I would like to thank all the staff and my friends at starlight especially Teresa Brunsvold who went above and beyond the call of duty to save my life I am still in recovery… I now live in the rolling Stones Oxford House in corpus Christi I have been clean and sober since February 14th 2025 Teresa Brunsvold took us on outings to the museum of the Pacific war in Fredericksburg to enchanted Rock she even took us fishing I love her to death and I miss her very much she's inspired me to dig deeper to push the envelope whenever I'm feeling lazy or just not showing up and I get my butt up as if she is still there I love you Teresa thank you for saving my life
A place of security and has all the programs and tools anyone needs to begin a life worth living. A peaceful environment!
85 days sober and still going strong. Every single person at Starlite played a role in saving my life. From the tireless kitchen staff to the nurses, therapists, and instructors, I was met with genuine care, compassion,… and professionalism at every turn. What touched me most was the community of people in recovery. They became my family when I needed one the most—lifting me up on hard days, motivating me when I doubted myself, and reminding me I was never alone. Thank you to the entire Retreat program staff. Because of you, I found hope, strength, and a new way forward. You truly changed my life. **Update** Thanks again to all the staff at Starlite...167 days sober!
I’m sure this program is amazing for people in recovery but so far it has been hell trying to get any information regarding my husbands care or even a call back! I know we are unable to talk to our loved ones for a… certain amount of days. But they do not prepare the spouse who will be taking care of him after his stay! I just want an update but calling several times does not good because you will never receive a call back! They need to realize it’s not just the patient who has been struggling but the family members of the patient also needs guidance of how to prepare
Starlite Recovery has been the best Rehab I could recommend for any Active Duty Military, Veteran, or First Responder. The counselors Teresa and Jill were the nicest most loving and caring people I have ever met, they… went above and beyond to do whatever they could to ensure you get better while staying here. The techs as well were awesome, especially Terri. The nurses were amazing as well, Robbie always knew exactly what I needed and Stacey always did whatever she could to ensure I was having a great day.
Over the past two years, during my time in recovery, I attended Starlight and became increasingly concerned about the environment there. I observed practices and behaviors that felt inappropriate and troubling. The… organization places heavy emphasis on holidays such as Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter, yet I did not see meaningful therapeutic or recovery-focused activities to balance that focus. I also witnessed repeated instances where female clients appeared to be harassed or treated inappropriately by both other clients and, at times, medical staff. In some situations, it seemed that vulnerable clients were taken advantage of rather than protected, which was alarming. During my most recent visit, I encountered the CEO and found her demeanor unsettling and unprofessional, which further added to my concerns about the leadership and ethical standards of the organization overall. It really surprised me that for Halloween. They went all out.
Starlite Recovery truly stands out for its individualized approach to care. Their multiple treatment tracks allow clients to receive support tailored to their specific needs, and the admissions process is smooth and… well-organized. The team is knowledgeable, compassionate, and supportive. Roy Perez, Director of Business Development, goes above and beyond to ensure the experience is seamless and welcoming.
Oh where to start, this is my 2nd time here, the first time was wonderful, they really helped. This time around not so much. Barbie was amazing and my therapist Victoria helped me tremendously, along with the techs… Dillon and Frankie. For me place saved my life, my marriage and my relationship with my kids.
I’m incredibly grateful for my time here. The staff truly cares and treats everyone with respect, compassion, and dignity. From intake to discharge, I felt supported, listened to and encouraged every step of the way.… The therapist and medical team are knowledgeable and genuinely invested in recovery, and the environment felt safe and structured in the best way. Starlite gave me the tools, accountability, and hope I needed to move forward in my recovery. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking real help and a fresh start. I would like to give a special thanks to Barbie for always going above and beyond to make sure each clients needs are met so they can have their best chance at a successful life in recovery. Thanks so much, Mathis
Very great staff and very great quality of tools to carry with you when you move on. Barbie and Jen are such wonderful ladies who takes the time to listen and go out of there way to get the help that you need. Starlite… Recovery means the world to me. If I had not gone there I would be dead right now. They saved my life. Because of the tools they gave me. I know how to Love myself and others and how to use deep breathing exercises, and I even quit smoking. I stay in contact with a few employees because it matters most to me to show them where I'm at now and outside of God, they played a major role in my recovery as well. I Love you guys for helping save my life. You will always have a special place in my heart.
Starlite Recovery Center is one of the longest-standing and most respected treatment centers in Texas, and it truly shows in the quality of care they provide. From the moment you walk in, the compassion,… professionalism, and dedication of the staff are evident. Their mission isn’t just words on paper—it’s reflected in the way they support, guide, and genuinely care for each individual they serve. What truly sets Starlite apart is the breadth and thoughtfulness of their programs. They offer specialized tracks for Veterans and First Responders, a Christian Program, and the Freedom Program (LGBTQ+), all of which can be tailored to meet each person’s unique needs and circumstances. This individualized approach creates a safe, respectful, and empowering environment where real healing and transformation can take place. I have seen the positive impact Starlite Recovery Center has had on countless lives, and I would confidently recommend this facility to my family and friends who are seeking compassionate, effective, and life-changing treatment.
Great people and beautiful facility!
My experience with Starlight Recovery has been nothing short of infuriating and irresponsible. I am currently dealing with billing issues totaling approximately $25,000, and despite speaking with multiple staff members… and representatives, I have received zero resolution. Calls, explanations, and follow-ups have gone nowhere. No accountability. No answers. On top of the billing disaster, personal property I left at the facility was never returned. This includes very expensive items, such as: A high-end electric shaver A personal pillow Sharps (which is not only costly but a serious safety and medical concern) The fact that sharps were mishandled or lost is deeply alarming and shows a lack of basic responsibility and patient care. Repeated attempts to recover my belongings or even get a straight explanation have been ignored or brushed off. This facility presents itself as professional and supportive, but my experience has shown the opposite: poor communication, unresolved financial chaos, and disregard for patient property and safety. If you’re considering this place, be warned: Document everything Do not trust billing without written proof Do not expect prompt or honest resolution when problems arise I regret choosing Starlight Recovery and would strongly caution others before putting themselves—or their finances and belongings—at risk here. Thank you for responding. However, this reply does not address the actual issues raised. My concerns are not about general care philosophy — they are about specific, unresolved problems, including: Approximately $25,000 in unresolved billing discrepancies Personal property that was never returned, including expensive items and medical sharps Repeated attempts to resolve this directly with staff, without any follow-up or resolution At this point, I am still waiting for direct communication that addresses these issues in writing, not a generic statement. I am open to resolving this, but resolution requires accountability, item recovery, and clear billing documentation. I will update this review once these matters are properly addressed.
This place has been a big blessing to my family!! The Marine program is fantastic and has been the biggest help to my family I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for help or piece of mind for a love one!! Being able… to see family on the weekend is recommended. And the concealers are there on the weekend to welcome family and talk to the family so you know what could help and give you piece of mind for your loved one!!! Thank you so much to the Marine program for all the help we have received!!!!
Starlite Rehab and specifically the Freedom Program are doing amazing work supporting the LGBTQIA+ Community with the many forms of Addiction that plague our community. I have personally seen lives change and transform… from the depths of destruction and despair to people recovering and being a productive part of society. If you or a Family Member or Friend are struggling with Alcoholism or Addiction as I have, please seek out help. There are so many resources out there for people and seeing Celso, the Freedom Program with Starlte Rehab work and collaborate with other Recovery Services is inspiring to me to stay on the path.
I mean this place has a very low rating. Do you think that's an accident? If you want to risk your sobriety on a 2.5 recovery center. Maybe you just don't make good choices in general..
Love this facility its staff is amazing! Come here if you need to heal and restore your soul. Thank you Starlite for saving me!
