Awful experience and awful staff. Had me wait for over 2 hours past the scheduled appointment time, then after I asked the receptionist what was going on she let me fill out paperwork with a terrible attitude. When I… finally spoke to the counselor, she asked many questions but then cut me off when I tried to answer. She made multiple jokes at my expense - which is definitely not a good way to get someone struggling to open up - and even outright stated that my problems were my own fault because I am a man. Obviously I never went back after this. If you are actually struggling with mental illness of any type, stay away from this place for your own good.
They are taking my wife’s medicine she needs to survive she has cancer and the so called doctor took her medication she needs to be able to take the treatments she needs
I’ve been going to Centerstone for a few months now and they seem like an okay place. The only thing is, it is extremely hard to get ahold of the office. I know I’ve tried multiple times during multiple different… business hours and days to get ahold of them and get sent to voicemail. The thing with the voicemail is that they do not have one. You can’t leave a message or anything and I don’t believe they call you back when they notice a missed call.
I recently completed an appointment that included a doctor who had not reviewed my file, my medications nor the time on the medications. She did not know the dosage either. She was quick to change my meds even though I… had been doing well for over a year on that regimen. She told me to “choose one,” when referring to changing my medication. It wasn’t of a concern to her how this would affect me, only that she could eliminate one of my medications as she said “they” prefer we don’t prescribe this.
The receptionist is rude and very unprofessional! And the psychologist doesn’t listen just new prescription after new prescription . Wouldn’t recommend
DO NOT GO HERE! IT WILL ONLY MAKE YOU WORSE! I was having trouble with medication and went to the ER because the medicine prescribed to me was messing with my heart, the cardiologist at the ER told me not to take the… next dose and to call and speak with my doctor. I called Centerstone to talk to the doctor but had to leave a message, didn’t hear back from them until the next day and was told I wouldn’t be able to talk to the doctor until the 5th of next month and it’s is currently the 22nd. The whole time I was in that place it was very unwelcoming, the entire staff was condescending and said “me too” way too many times for your personal problems to feel Validated, a woman walked the halls with no shoes on and the entire time I was treated like a junky just trying to get high. Edit: I tried reaching out to them again via the phone number in the comment below, no answer. This place does not care.
The staff at this location of Centerstone are so Caring and Nice. Dr. Graves is a Wonderful Person, always concerned about the welfare of this patients. Vivian, the Nurse, is always so much help when you need her, she… goes out of her way to help you with whatever you may need. Also, the rest of the staff are very nice and always willing to help you as well, when you need them. They have been so Good to Us, We Love You All and Wish You All a Wonderful Happy New Year!! May God Bless You All Richly!! Richard and his Mother, Michelle
I walk into the office she ask if she can help I tell her I need to see someone to get help with anxiety, depression and possibly bipolar illness. She gives me a card and tells me I have to make an appointment. I asked… if I could see someone today she said you have to have an appointment... how is this supposed to be a place to help someone if you go and they refuse to help you then? I need help now now a week from now. They apparently don’t care much about people if they refuse to see someone without a damn appointment
Had a therapy session for 5 minutes. Took my payment. No help here.
I feel so sad to say this because the therapist I met was awesome. But the doctor who isn't even a doctor she's a nurse practioner was awful. She treated me like a number, made me wait 90 minutes. She was cold and rude… and ignored everything I was saying. Then put me on a medication I had never heard of and can't afford. Gave me samples and sent me on my way. Time to find a new doctor :(
