Trying to figure out do they help who they know or help who they get the big payment for or are they helping them selves everyone hair done and dressed nice some using God in they cubicle office but no help.
Thank you Mr Peter and Mr Jonathan I am very thankful and grateful for Hopics for helping me through this journey and for helping me furnish my new place and always willing to help me . Mr Peter and Mr Jonathan where… always one phone call away. Thank you very much🙏🙏 Hopics does People they came thru for me and I'm forever grateful
I have had the best quality of care and help at this facility. Convenient group times. Accurate counseling sessions. Treatment and goal orientation. I've been aside to grow and thrive here. Thank you ever so much for… all these people have given me a winning chance at life, now I'm looking forward to living on life's turmes. Equipment with tools and coping skills and a confidence that is not easily taken. Thanks to this incredibly team.
This place is false. I believe they took my info down to show like they helped me or have me services!! I have not received anything but some refrigerated TV dinners that I had no way to heat up!! I have them ALL MY… INFO. It's been about 3 months, no contact or anything from them.. THEY ARE TALKING PEOPLE'S INFO JUST TO GET MONEY.
Hopic has done many clients wrong with the TLS program and funding that was improperly distributed for housing which now workers have abandoned clients without proper notice and basically left them to experience… homelessness with out proper case management. I think Mayor Karen Bass should do an audit on how clients are being handled with their personal and identifier information with offices like Hopics who were supposed to be helping people experiencing homelessness instead of putting them through more pain and distress from their negligence in case management.
WENT TO HOPICS BACK IN DECEMBER OF 2017. DID'NT GET ANY HELP. JUST BEING PAST DOWN FROM PERSON TO PERSON. HERE IT IS 2025. I WENT TO THEM FOR HELP BECAUSE MY FMLA WASN'T PAYING ENOUGH AND IT CAUSED ME TO GET BEHIND.… FIRST I WAS TOLD THE COULDNT HELP DUE TO ME BEING ON FMLA. AND WHEN I WENT BACK TO WORK, I WAS THEN TOLD I MADE TOO MUCH MONEY. SO NOW, IM HOMELESS. 😢
I personally use this H.O.P.I.C.S (Homeless Outreach program incorporated services) location at 729 West Manchester Ave. 90044. It's a great location for those of us whom are fortunately or unfortunately at the mercy of… God's hand unhoused or homeless due to life's circumstances. Great employees who are always ready to help you in anyway they can. Very friendly , attentive, with pride and honor to help all those in need. The most commonly used services there are for people to take showers, personally hygiene care, washers and dryers to do a load of laundry, and storage bins for those in need of storing things so the don't have to pack around so much stuff all at once. You can come everyday to use these services during their operating hours.
Goodnight the
Only gave it 3 stars because they only assist people who are 25 and up. This should be included on their website.
You never get helped using hopics. All they do is make you wait hours just to get the same stack of over crowded shelters that the county gives you. You’ll follow up for months just to tell you that you’re on a waitlist… for a shelter, but won’t connect you to resources to actually get off the street.
It's very sad to read the comments left by participants. Now it should be reported within 30 days. With as much money that's being accumulated that families aren't helped ESPECIALLY TAX PAYING CITIZENS. OUR GOV. HAS… POWER TO PLACE THE HOMELESS IN WELL EATABLISHED MOTELS / HOTELS!
Hopic Have an Extremely Low Rating In Helping The Homeless and it's Sad People Get There around 5 AM believing the False Narrative The Earlier The Better I Gotten there and Other people as Well and we Did Not receive No… Help ,One person was offered to sleep in there Car in a Lot SMH PLEASE DONT SIGN YOUR NAME IF YOU DONT GET HELP BECAUSE IN MY OPINION , they Could take That and use it as if they Helped you..
My baby died because of hopics I was homeless had to sneak in my previous unfurnished apartment i was in process of moving into my new apartment just waiting on inspection from hopics and because they said they had… nothing for my family size snuck back in for the night my old apartment had no choice my baby never woke up on blow mattress I had now I was already placed in a hotel with LASHA THEY gave referral to hopics they did nothing o until now they hurried up sign me up for spa 6 in a motel without a bathroom working roaches the guy is fixing the bathroom tiles so it's a lot of stuff me and children inhaling hopics said it was fine to go while they work just while tight for a bit it's been 3 days we all sleeping on i bed 7 people bed and floor now I'm planning a funeral for my 2 month old that died on my birthday i was up at hopice 6am twice no placements went to LA family homeless program on Wilshire they put me in a motel after my baby died someone paying for this
I went through hopics twice for emergency housing and both times they were very helpful more the second time because they actually gave me transportation to get there .now they have relocated I was in need am in need of… emergency housing again .they said they weren't placing anyone idk if that's still the case I find it difficult going so early waiting so long just to not get helped but probably since they had just relocated .the hopics on Broadway still helps with emergency housing ?
I’ve been trying to contact you guys for a whole week and I would love if u get back to me my house got burnt in the fires now I’m homeless I was told to give you a call I go to the building on broadway but it’s never… open
The folks at HOPICS were a dream to work with! Extremely supportive and acted fast to make sure we had what we needed for my grandmother.
Hopic got me facing eviction but it's supposed to be a homeless prevention program Joke on me
