Boca Recovery Center – Boca Raton Reviews and Ratings
Reviews of Boca Recovery Center are written by those closest to the program: patients, their families and the professionals who refer to it.
Take time to read them before you call. And if you have your own experience of treatment at this Boca Raton facility, share it here.
Its one thing to share your experience but another to make you feel that experience is yours. I do not recommend this AA service, especially if that person will not listen and then blames you!
I have really enjoyed my stay here, this has been the best recovery center. The staff and the clients have been more than amazing. To my wise counsel Anthony, g, Snyder,Q, Robert. All of you have been my saving grace.… Thank you so much
Boca was where I started just over two years ago and I will be forever grateful for the staff for saving my life!
Called me about a possible patient, asking me questions about them, when asked to stop calling they stated “you are probably the reason they were seeking help”. For this to be a place for recovery that is not how you… speak to a person. One I don’t have information of the person they asked about and for them to continue giving out more information of that person to me felt like they failed to follow HIPAA guidelines
My name is Juan Diaz this is my second time going to Boca Recovery when at first I thought that I would be judged for being there a second time it was the whole opposite they actually took me in with open arms I felt so… welcomed I felt like I was at home The people there the staffs are amazing The chef oh my God one of a kind and I really just want to give a big shout out too Nikki The alumni coordinator I believe that I honestly wouldn't have made it all this way if it wasn't for her checking up on me and every one else she really takes her job above and beyond shout out "G" as well always knew exactly what to say he is like a brother
I can only speak to my experience at Boca Recovery Center, and you get out of it what you put in. I did 15 days; 7 detox and 8 residential. My Therapist, Laura, was phenomenal. She was available whenever I needed to… speak with her and was personable and professional. She wasn’t just checking things off a clip-board, she listened and asked questions that pertained to my situation. My case manager, Nicole, helped me by curating my rehabilitation to suit my needs. She spoke to me on a personal level and I never felt pressured into anything. We spoke about multiple options of recovery, and she worked with me to continue my sobriety on my return home by giving me therapists and meetings in my area. My Nurse Practitioner, Meresa, did not throw drugs at me just because, I have had that happen in the past. We spoke about recommendations of prescriptions and what to expect from them. Throughout my 15 days, we adjusted the medications and found a low dosage that worked for me. Nikki, the Alumni Coordinator has reached out to me several times, upon me returning home, to check on me. Weekly AA zoom meetings are available through her and they are organized and well led. This is very helpful for me and I appreciate that I have that, as a resource. The lead Tech, G, was available and a genuinely great guy. As were most of the Techs, some were just collecting a paycheck, but most cared and I respect that and them. This was not my first rehab, but the people I met and the conversations we had, really helped center me. I’m not religious and not particularly spiritual, and I never felt anyone pushing me to accept anything other than self reliance. Today marks my 30 days of sobriety, something I have not achieved with other rehab experiences, and I am grateful to Boca for paving the way. It falls on me to continue the path, but their help was tremendous in building me up to be able to be here today. The only thing I would criticize would be some of the group sessions were led by in-house therapists, nurses, and case managers. I would have preferred a third-party come in and lead the sessions so the in-house team could focus on their caseload. Overall 5 stars, if you need help with substance issues, please reach out to someone, anyone that you trust to help. Boca helped me.
We when to this facility and it felt like a mental ward. All the doors are locked. You can’t go out if they say it’s voluntary, but it’s really not voluntary. They drug you if you try and leave they have black mold in… their bathroom and staff are extremely disrespectful.
This Detox and Rehab facility only facilitates a coed rehab, which they do a very poor job of keeping mails from females. The people that work in this facility, do a good job however they only help to facilitate… relationships, forming between men and women. I don’t believe that there should be a CO-ED Facility because women are distracting to men as men are distracting to women when they are trying to focus on becoming well. This facility only facilitated and in a way encouraged men and women to be intimate. If you want your loved one to come here just know that they will be Whoever they want to, and they are not going to be drawing a line in the sand between male and female relationships. Take that into account when you are thinking about allowing your loved one to become a part of this environment . I will say that if that wasn’t discouraging enough The therapists that are appointed on your loved ones case can go on vacation or can be out and they do not appoint another therapist while your loved ones. Therapist is out so for your loved one to be in therapy and needing one-on-one therapy for a month and being left without it for two weeks while you’re still paying like they’re receiving therapy is quite bullshit. Bottom line is there are Detox, clinics, and rehab facilities that really go the distance to help. Do you research and your due diligence before you choose this one?
Very helpful even though you couldn't help me with my addiction to alcohol and I also use thca
This is hands down the best drug and alcohol program in south Florida. Boca Recovery Centers is clearly in the business of saving lives and really care about their patients. I’ve never seen an organization try harder to… help people in every definition of the word. Thank you Boca Recovery Center. You are literally saving lives every day.
I highly recommend Boca Recovery Center! Great team of people that are respectful, organized and most importantly provide the highest quality of care
As a professional who has referred several individuals to Boca Recovery Center, I can confidently say their commitment to individualized care is unmatched. They don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead,… their team takes the time to understand each patient's unique history and needs. The staff is very professional and communicative. Bo Garfield has been stellar and Boca comes highly recommended.
Wonderful place that I would feel comfortable sending any friend or family member.
I spoke to a lady by the name of Laura. She was really intensely racist. She kept trying to antagonize me, but I wouldn’t allow it so she started getting upset and started asking me if I was a racist, unsure why so I… hung up and called back to speak with a higher up I ended up getting a guy on the phone said he sits right across from Laura and he started being very disrespectful also I was recording both phone calls. For some reason, they just kept asking if I wanted a cracker I’m not sure what that means, but I was calling to get support for a friend and family member of mine and experience was horrible. Not sure what kind of business they’re running, but it is insanely crazy And I’m not sure if it’s because we’re in two different states they were being very belligerent. They never sent the link or anything like that all they kept saying was cracker to me and what’s crazy, they were white people. I don’t know if it’s a commission structure they work on, but they kept telling me I didn’t need what I called for they were pushing for something else so that is not the right profession to be in if it’s about commission and their livelihood as well
If I could give more than five stars, I would. My experience with Boca Recovery was incredibly meaningful, but the person who truly changed my life was Nikki. From the very first moment we spoke, she made me feel seen,… safe, and understood in a way I didn’t even realize I needed. She wasn’t just doing her job—she was genuinely invested in my well-being and my future. Nikki supported me through every single step of the process, from start to finish, and even long after my time in the program. She never disappeared, never stopped checking in, never stopped reminding me that I was capable of rebuilding my life. That level of care is so rare, and I don’t take it for granted for one second. The truth is, I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for her. She believed in me on days I couldn’t believe in myself. She showed up with compassion, patience, honesty, and a kind of strength that helped me find my own. Because of Nikki, I didn’t just recover—I grew, healed, and found a future I didn’t think I deserved. If you’re looking for someone who will champion you, guide you, and truly care, Nikki is that person. I am forever grateful for her, and for the way she changed my life. She will always be a part of my story, and I cannot thank her enough.
Beautiful facility great staff
Very kind friendly staff had ciggs on point every day very helpful fun peaceful environment 😃
You go in not wanting to do 30, and leave not wanting to leave. I had a really good experience at Boca Recovery. The staff and techs genuinely cared and made me feel supported every step of the way. The food was great,… I’m really grateful for my time here they truly care about your recovery! And their aftercare is amazing and exciting and they personalize your care just for you! Amazing program!
Horrible horrible place, please don’t go. One bathroom for everyone cleaning staff is cool but therapists are unemotional and strict. Please don’t go: don’t listen to anyone else, they were probably there when they were… 3 people
Boca Recovery has changed my life. The staff there at great. Shout outs to Ginny,, Mary, Miss J and all the others. Nikki is amazing running the alumni group. Kevin is a good guy. Today I’m 17 months sober and I… couldn’t have done it with Boca Recovery!
Horrible. They only allow the patients to call 3 times a week. Always late calling. Never get to talk to the counselor unless you call admitting. They have no empathy for family members. Nurse is awful. Yelling and… talking over me. Staff not paying attention during calls. Trying to split my marriage apart. Not caring that my child isn't getting to talk to her father.
No one reaching out for help should ever be made to feel judged or belittled. Recovery should be taken seriously, and the people answering these calls should treat everyone with empathy and respect. There is no way the… people who answer the calls at the call center, are qualified to speak to people in recovery. I was laughed at, questioned , and belittled by a man who told me he was the supervisor and his name was “Dave” . I am in tears because I hope to god nobody else has the experience I just did.
The staff, facilities, food, counselors, nurses, housekeeping-literally every part of what I experienced during my stay at BRC exceeded expectations. I needed help and was willing to receive it and accept where I was at… in life at that time. Will, Nikki and the multiple techs went above and beyond in their duties and I will forever be grateful to them for the care and compassion they gave me. I highly recommend BRC & I try to attend the weekly alumni zoom meeting have gone in person to speak as well and share my experience, strength and hope. I get checked in on regularly and it is reassuring to know that it isn’t simply a business-there are people who truly care. Thank you!
I came here January and stayed for two months. Was definitely not the experience I wanted, especially for the thousands of dollars they charge (and that’s with insurance.. lord only knows how much it’d be without).… Wouldn’t suggest coming here unless you’d like to be treated like a 12 year old or a criminal. Some of the staff here had a very strong bias against addicts and shouldn’t have been working with vulnerable people, in my humble opinion. Edit: to the owners “response”: yes, I was definitely there. I prefer my privacy, so I will not put my full name on google where it’s easily seen by thousands of strangers. I’d suggest checking your records ;) - unless you conveniently threw them out, they should be there. And you can act like I never went there, but in that case why did one of your employees text me over and over for about a month telling me to delete my review? You had to have gotten my phone number from somewhere.. Even got one of the girls in my old halfway house to bother me about it in person too. Lmao. I got there January 8th, 2021 and went thru detox, residential, graduated PHP, then moved on to Harmony Healing Center in the beginning of March 2021. I may be a recovering addict but I’m definitely not a liar.
BRC is a leading SUD provider in multiple states and a trusted resource to get a loved one help. Glad to know several of their staff on a personal level, and they’re a testament to the fact that recovery works.
This was the perfect place i am so thankful for Nikki and all the staff members I was on my way to 2 years in jail and boca completely saved me from that and i am now 1 year sober
