LITC BH LLC – Hicksville Detox and Rehab Services

What LITC BH LLC – Hicksville offers, on record, is detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The withdrawal stage is clinically observed, which is what makes it safer than stopping alone. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Someone sold them my information and now they are contacting me about treatment unprompted. Sketchy as hell and unprofessional to boot. Literally have no idea how this company received my information as I live nowhere… nearby, it wouldn’t even make sense for me to try to go here. And I won’t be!

You get what you put in, just like anything else in life. Most of team members were in active recovery so they know how it feels to be in your shoes. They care about what they are doing and help if you let them. Uncle… frank and Rich make recovery easy to understand and implement into your life.

We are incredibly grateful to have found a treatment facility on Long Island that offers multiple levels of care, including partial hospitalization for addiction. The team provided compassionate, patient-centered… support and made the transition into care for my family member seamless during a very difficult time. Their professionalism and dedication truly stood out, and we felt supported every step of the way.

This place is so unorganized I was there over a month never saw a counselor at all . They talk about aa meetings at every group you go too. One group discussed about relapse as that is why people go there to begin with… all I did is pee in a cup plus get billed a lot for that they submitted to my insurance company that this place was a intense therapy clinic charged 3200.00 for several weeks completel bullshit nothing intense therapy or one on one with a counselor or therapist it’s a money grabber go to aa meeting or smart recovery or any other resources you can find without paying there price because you won’t get any therapy by going to this place honest review

Long Island treatment center is a wonderful place. Their alumni coordinator, Valerie, is Absolutely amazing. I wish every company had a Valerie. She Answered her phone on both Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. She will go… above and beyond to help someone she doesn’t even know and that means the world to me thank you LITC.

As a mom, I was skeptical of sending my kid anywhere even though I knew that they needed help. This clinic made me feel safe and I knew that my kid would be supported in the way that they needed to be. The staff is… caring, patient and always kept me updated on my kids progress. They went above and beyond. Highly recommended.

As a former patient of this horribly run facility I warn that any patient should consider any other treatment center. This place offers minimal help and takes things too personal. The clinical director doesn't do much… besides make you feel as if you aren't doing enough and picks at every answer you give. Most of the facilitators and lazy in what they provide. Handing out a mental health worksheet, reading a paragraph, and then reviewing what was read is something you would see in a 3rd grade classroom, shouldn't be seen at a treatment center for addiction. They do not engage with patients and tell you to slow down life because "you aren't ready". If you have been in abstinence they will still push that you aren't doing enough. They are also all under qualified. No body truly knows what's going on there as far as the workers go and they never have anything prepared. I'll end this with saying my best time at Long Island Treatment Center was leaving. Please consider that if you struggle with addiction there are plenty of other places to go to and this one will guaranteed disappoint you.

This place takes things personal with there clients. They are suppose to help and heal people with there issues. Instead they create more mental health issues with there clients. They are totally disorganized. They… never return phone calls. The info I just provided is first hand info from my step son that attended this dysfunctional institution. Beware if you decide to attend this place. Concerned parent.

This Long Island treatment center only seemed interested in my insurance. As soon as they found out I had Medicaid (Fidelis), they basically tried to get me off the phone. I would not recommend this place if you’re… looking for genuine support.

Coming to LITC has been a great and transformational experience. The people that come here and work here are all very serious and committed to getting and keeping you on the right track. The facility is nice and… accommodating, offering morning and evening meetings throughout the week. It is conveniently located and they provide food and beverages which is especially great for anyone coming on a tight schedule. If you or someone you know is struggling and is looking for help, I'd very strongly recommend getting in contact with the people at LITC.

I sent my brother to this location in 2023 to get him some help with his stimulant addiction. My brother dropped out of college, cannot hold a job, cannot form a social circle or make friends, and is a non-functioning… member of society who has stolen thousands of dollars from my family due to his stimulant addiction. He goes from psychiatrist to psychiatrist in order to get easy access to adderall prescriptions in which he binges on, and this stimulant addiction has also led him down the path to a pornography addiction as well. My brother has seen countless therapists, sex therapists, tried going to NA meetings, and has been in and out of the psych ward multiple times with no avail. I thought this place could finally help him. When I told all of this information to Chris, he recommended my brother going to 3x a week Outpatient rehab. I was shocked when he said this, as my brother clearly needed In-patient rehab and had a severe case. What also shocked me further was when Chris said that it would cost us $5000 with our insurance. My parents are immigrants and we do not have a lot of money, and $5000 was a huge chunk of our savings. It was a hard decision for us, but we thought this huge financial blow would be worth it if my brother actually got the help he needed. What happened afterward was complete incompetence and inaction on the staff's part. My brother went to his Outpatient meetings for the first month and a half, and during this time he was encouraged to start vaping nicotine products by the other members and staff (to which he developed a severe nicotine addiction to this day), and he was berated one time for saying he drank a beer during a meeting which made him feel upset and confused since he doesn't have an alcohol addiction. Remember, he was in there because of his stimulant addiction. He felt uncomfortable and judged going to these meetings. Eventually the staff realized that the Outpatient program was not working on him, and they recommended switching him to Inpatient a month and a half into it... and requested us to pay thousands of more dollars in order to do so. We couldn't afford to do so, and my brother stopped showing up to the rest of his outpatient meetings because he found them to be a waste of his time. Now 2 years later and my family is still suffering from my brother's addictions, and we don't have the money to try any more options. No matter how many times we call the cops on my brother, he is back home a few days later and causing havoc. This place was supposed to help him, but instead he came out worse than when he came in, and it feels like this place just scammed us and stole thousands of dollars from us without any care for their mission statement of trying to help addicts. If I could give negative stars in this review I would, and I would not recommend anybody going here.

This is a great place if you want to get recovery. The therapists And group facilitators are awesome. The director goes out of her way to make sure that your needs are met. The medical staff is also there for you and… they are kind and considerate. And if you stay at the house you will find it very comfortable and that detects are also on your side.

I am writing this review with a heavy heart, as my experience at Long Island Treatment Center has been a bittersweet journey. For the longest time in my life, this center played a crucial role in my path to sobriety.… The dedication of the staff and the supportive environment initially helped me reclaim my life from the grips of substance abuse. I genuinely believed I had found a sanctuary for healing. However, my experience took a tragic turn with the arrival of new management. While I initially benefited immensely from the compassionate care and structured programs, the recent changes have left me disheartened. After a significant relapse—a setback that I had worked tirelessly to overcome—I was discharged in a manner that felt abrupt and unempathetic. It was as if months of progress were suddenly disregarded, and I was cast aside at my most vulnerable moment. The new management seems to prioritize policies over people, undermining the core values that once made this center a beacon of hope. The empathetic approach that characterized my early treatment has been replaced by rigid protocols that fail to consider the complexities of recovery. Instead of support, I was met with judgment, leaving me feeling abandoned when I needed help the most. It is painful to witness a place that once embodied healing transform into a system that seems to lack compassion. I urge potential clients to be aware of this shift, as the nurturing environment I once experienced has been tainted. Recovery is not a linear journey, and it is essential for treatment centers to understand and support individuals during their most challenging times. I hope that this feedback serves as a wake-up call for Long Island Treatment Center to return to its roots and remember the lives it has the power to change. My gratitude for the initial support remains, but the recent changes have overshadowed that experience. It is my sincere wish that future clients receive the care and understanding that I once found here.

For anyone looking for a drug or mental health facility, Long Island Treatment Center is where you will receive the best care. I’ve been to seven other rehabs, and I have never experienced better treatment,… unconditional love, and devotion. Every single facilitator I was lucky enough to meet was amazing—qualified, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and able to meet me on my level. The groups were incredible, and the individual therapy sessions were truly life-changing. After losing the trust of my family, I was able to reconnect with them and make amends, thanks to Zoom video calls facilitated by my therapist. I cannot thank Long Island Treatment Center enough for giving me my life back. I will forever be indebted for their amazing services. I look forward to coming back as an alumnus to share my experience, strength, and hope so I can help others on their journey to recovery. Thank you so much, Long Island Treatment Center!
