El Paso Behavioral Health System – El Paso Detox and Rehab Services

El Paso Behavioral Health System – El Paso is listed as running residential treatment and partial hospitalization. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Addiction and mental health are worked on at the same time here. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

El Paso Behavioral Health System – El Paso Address, Location and Contact Information

Records give the address as 1900 Denver Avenue, El Paso, Texas, 79902. El Paso County covers this area. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

I took my daughter in for outpatient and they mixed up all her words in that outpatient visit turned into her being there for five days they don’t listen to you. They create their own narrative even if you are under a… psychiatrist care you won’t get your proper medication and they lie. The doctor will tell you you either sign up voluntarily or he’ll call a judge they tell you it’s 24 hours for you to be evaluated but that’s a lie. It’s no more no less than 3 to 4 days they kept my daughter for her birthday. Why wouldn’t that make anybody? Sad don’t go to this place.

We had taken my wife in because of her primary doctor orders. My wife was in for 8 days and came out being herself. She said she was afraid to be admitted, the next day she was okay and felt safe. Thanks to everyone… that had a part of my wife’s visit. Everyone was very professional and friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was sent here by a hospital in February 2020 at the age of 12 and I'd like to share that my experience here was far from pleasant. It's been years so I can't quite remember any names but it was very apparent to me… that workers would favor the younger kids (4-7) and often ignore older children around my age. I also remember being very very thirsty. We rarely ever received water pitchers in our rooms and I mostly had to rely on the tiny juice cups and drinking from the fountains during mealtime. The only moment of fresh air I've gotten was when we were allowed to walk into the indoor gym, it felt extremely suffocating having almost no view from the outside world from your rooms because its boarded up with metal. The only time it feels less like a prison is mealtime because that's one of the few places that actually have windows. I also remember having little to no assistance when I started my menstrual cycle, I only got offered pantyliners for my entire period. The hair combs they provide are next to useless especially with textured hair I was sent back home with matted hair because the only way I could brush my hair without breaking the combs was painstakingly running my fingers through my hair during showetime.

Hello, a warm greeting: This comment is especially for the Spanish-speaking therapist—I don't remember her name, she's a Mexican woman—and for the manager, Icha, I think that's her name. I'm not sure if they're still… working there. They treated me in December 2025. I want you to know that THANK YOU SO MUCH 🥰🙏🏻 I miss you like you're old friends. Thank you so, so much ☺️ I wish you all the best in this life, many blessings. I will never forget your exceptional and humane treatment. God willing, one day I can hug you and tell you in person how important your support was during that crucial and horrible time for me. Greetings also to the psychiatrists, especially a Cuban doctor, thank you! Thank God I'm happy in Miami today. They knew why I was there. The food is also excellent. My name is Karolina. Blessings! (Trans woman)

Honestly, I didn't see my child at all. They took him to the ward without shoes, wearing red hospital socks my size. He was urinating up to his chest, completely filthy. He said he didn't have any clean clothes, and he… had a bump on his head and left ear from Jordan hitting him while he was on the floor. When I picked him up, he was scratched and complaining that a boy named Nico hit him in his private parts. Today he went to therapy outside the ward. He didn't complain. Please pay more attention to the children in the ward!

Let me preface this review by saying the bad reviews are not taking into consideration the medical expertise. If you are going to do a review on pure emotion then yeah I would give a one star. There are a lot of things… that are out of the employees' control. With that said, these are some of the best medical professionals that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. In fact, they are the best. And I have been to Chicago, Connecticut, Arizona, etc. They were the only ones to diagnose me correctly. Crystal and Nathan, the daytime nurses, are some of the best people I have met in my entire life. The medical technicians Liliana, Albertito, Mireya, Samantha and I am drawing a blank on some of the other names but my God you know who you are. Thank you for saving my life!

I have no positive comments for you. My patient remains the same. Furthermore, you endangered my 10-year-old patient and my family with a comment that resulted in a serious misunderstanding on your part. I reiterate,… the false accusation is extremely serious. I hope never to return and I do not recommend you.

My mother is in this facility for the second time this month. She went there the first time to have her mental health medications evaluated and also needed treatment for a UTI that I don’t believe she received. Two days… after I brought her home she started hallucinating, something she had never done before. The hallucinations got so bad she didn’t even know who I was. I took her back to the ER in Alamagordo where we live, she still has a UTI but they decided she needed to go back to UBH to have her meds evaluated again. I have been trying for days to be able to speak with a nurse or doctor that could tell me how she is since when she called me she said she has fallen multiple times and I want to know if they are treating the UTI this time. No one answers the phone and if they do they transfer me to a voicemail that isn’t set up. I will not take this rating down because this is the second time I’ve been ignored.

I was there back in 2020. Experience has changed since then. Update: this location now wants my "feedback" although I was here back in 2020 with a completely different rating. Now that I suddenly changed it would now… suddenly like my feedback. My feedback is in my records that you have, and the survey I completed. Please review that throughly as I do not want to be continued to be harassed by this location to keep coming back when I am not ready yet. Thank you for now "reaching out" and "caring about my experience". Please give me time to rest as requested multiple times. Another update: just finished calling the "emergency" line several times to obtain my own records after already signing a release form for them. Its like this place doesn't want you to survive. Completely irresponsible and uncompassionate.

I am not going to give this place five stars because when I was in the women's unit get ready to process out one of the people were rushing me out the door and unprofessional and I don't appreciate that and I forgot my… medicine and then my medicine's been tempered with I know how much I had in my bottles in my high blood pressure pills I never opened and they are now just a little bit in there that was full bottle it was never open I don't appreciate but these people have done to me and their attitude for the staff of the women's unit when I left there I gave them a 10-star I shouldn't give them that I should have gave them a two because of how I've been treated through and threw out of there what I came and pick up my medication The lady was hiding her mouth over the phone like she got something to hide. I don't have time for games that your staff has been playing with me we supposed to be To get well not treated like crap or like a kid we're grown women some of them have addiction someone can sleep and some have depression and other things that are wrong with them but they should be treating us with respect if they want respect that back to them I do not appreciate it how they treated me but I do thank you for sending an Uber to take me home but your staff needs work on their attitudes and their patience and how they treat people cuz where are the people are paying to stay there with our insurance so you need to think about that before how you treat people cuz people don't want to pay people these days cuz how you're treating them. I wish you all the best of luck and every situation but you need to work on your staff constantly work and nobody should not be gossiping about nobody up in there at all cuz nobody's not perfect only God is perfect. I gave you a one star you need work and work on your stuff have a blessed one and I hope things will work out for you and the future bye for now
