A Masterclass in Systemic Dysfunction and Dereliction of Care This practice represents a complete breakdown of modern healthcare. Every conceivable touchpoint—from administration and billing to the pharmacy and labs—is… plagued by rampant dysfunction and negligence. At the center of this failure is my provider. To call them anything approximating "doctor" is dangerously misleading; our interactions are consistently adversarial, condescending, and reveal a staggering lack of foundational medical knowledge. Frankly, a basic internet search yields more accurate and actionable medical guidance. This clinical ineptitude was fully on display during my recent physical. Despite sending a detailed agenda weeks in advance, my provider ignored it entirely and bizarrely insisted I needed an outside referral to an "infectious disease specialist" simply to have a standard, routine sexual health conversation. Are we to expect absolutely nothing from our PCP relationships? In the most developed state in the most developed region of our nation? Today's interaction was like being seated across from a nose-turned-up petulant teenager with vocal fry who was frantically (?) googling medical information (?) as I asked basic questions. Her knowledge was 2 whole generations of treatment behind. (?) I had, again, ordered blood work and provided an itinerary in advance, and attempted to advocate for myself and my care. Foolishly wasting my time. Asked why I wasn't given this advice or instruction weeks prior, I got dissembling and blaming me for having unrealistic expectations. This staggering ignorance is compounded by an administrative black hole. The personnel monitoring MyChart are clearly unqualified to triage patient concerns, frequently offering lazy, single-word replies, suggesting specialists to answer simple questions often requiring months of additional waiting, or blindly telling me to "try an urgent care." As a result, minor, easily solvable medical issues have been artificially prolonged into months- and years-long ordeals because administrators refuse to return calls, resolve errors, or coordinate care. This organization operates with an amateurish incompetence that actively delays treatment. If you value your time, your dignity, and your health, I strongly advise seeking care elsewhere.
Honestly one of the worst dr office ive been to has no problem. Billing you but they dont even show up for their own appointments you just wait worrying for days
Great clinic good people but the only problem is they keep changing providers In three to four years I had about three different doctors Every time you build trust with one they leave and you have to restart from zero… explain your whole history your meds your injuries again and sometimes the new doctor barely knows your case It makes care harder and more stressful because there is no stable long term provider who follows your situation I like the place but the constant provider turnover really sucks for patients and I hope they fix it
The entire team that works here are great people. Today I was seen by Dr. Satbir, he took care of my teeth. I was very nervous and anxious, and everyone was patient with me. The dentist's assistant is wonderful.
All the staff are great 😃👍. Love Dr. Ronan, she sees my entire family. We are very pleased with the Community Health Center.
My dear friend, Francis Urribarri was treated poorly by Dr. Singh. He would not attend to her needs and kept asking his assistant to check her insurance for coverage. In the end all he did was take x-rays of her teeth… and told her to come back at 8 AM on the 11th. When Francis got to the front desk she was told that he would not take care of her again and sent her back to the doctor who had made the initial referral. This is extremely frustrating because she was not feeling well and had everything taken care of before going to see Dr. Singh. Francis will never go back to this office again.
I went to Bourne walk in clinic when they were just opening it a year or so ago. At that time it was pretty disorganised not good communication so I thought I would give it awhile. Today I went back again taken to an… examination room waited 20 minutes Carlos came in looked like he just got out of bed. He had the rolling table that you put your iPad on his was broken to the point of having had to shove paper along the bottom of it to even put your iPad on it so it wouldn’t slide off. He would not let me explain my symptoms just took vitals. Then 20 minutes more until doctor came in. Which she is NOT a doctor by any stretch of the imagination. I had my coat on ready to leave because I had been there 40 minutes. The “doctor said “Go back in that room and sit down and close the door “ so I did then she said “ what I do is NONE of your business “ I said there is no one else here. She said that was none of my business. I was and am so sick I couldn’t take the scolding. I left crying. Horrible Horrible. The community health center is great. The walk in should be gone!!!!!!! Drive to stoneham urgent care they are professional have kind beside manner the real doctors hair is clean and the are respectably dressed
I have never been as livid as I am with this place regularly. The doctors and most of the nurses are fine, when you get to see them. I have literally been keep waiting 5+ hours for a physical. Unless you get the very… first appointment you're out of luck. Oh and they won't update you on anything. The reception and administration are a joke. I have never once received timely or helpful assistance from the staff. I'll use the app, I'll call, I'll talk to them directly - nothing. I get the run around for weeks. The amount of times they say they're sending referrals - only for me to show up to the specialist and they haven't. I ask for documents - they refuse. I show up to an appointment early only to wait several hours then have my appointment "rescheduled" for 6 months later as I'm physically in the office. They change their hours, not update anything, and then lie about it. They have wasted so much of my time and energy. Go anywhere else.
All around best healthcare experience
I have been a patient there 20 plus years and my NP retired. I made an appointment with her replacement and told her that I was really struggling with my mental-health. I simply asked her to prescribe my psych… medication, in a different form, so that I can be sure I take it because my main symptom of ADHD is the inability to be consistent. I did not need a new diagnosis or a new med. she had 20 plus years of records, proving I had zero allergy to the drug, and without even assessing me, she flat out refused to prescribe me the shot (as opposed to the pill of the same drug). She told me that she “didn’t feel comfortable “ prescribing me the shot and that I needed a psych evaluation if I wanted that. So she told the patient who just explained their inability to be consistent, their fragile mental state, and their fierce desire to receive help because it’s severely affecting my life, plain NO. I told her I was not okay mentally and could not afford to wait months just to be placed on a med that I have already been prescribed for decades. She didn’t ask me a single assessment question before refusing me. She liters spoke to me for 2 minutes and refused to help. Don’t waste your time with her. I am a registered nurse and assessment is nursing 101. She is a poor excuse for an NP
This place is a joke. They take on way too many patients and then tell you you can’t get an appointment until 6 months out. I have gotten cdiff from the dentist over prescribing me antibiotics, I lost workman’s comp… during an injury because they took too long bring me appointments and just not putting in referrals, and made me lose my workman’s comp beater of how long they take and now I need an appointment with my primary for my lawyer and they just flat out told me no. Then when you do all them about other problems, they don’t even have you come in they just throw referrals at you, but when you ask for one they refuse. Horrible. Thinking of getting a lawyer involved some I still have serious gut issues from the over prescribing of the antibiotics Abe will most likely be permanent.
DENTAL REVIEW- I brought my children in for dental appointments with Dr Singh after being at this dental office for years with a different dentist. My oldest son (9) got his teeth cleaned and he was uncomfortable and… not listened to, but it seemed more standard and let's be real- getting your teeth cleaned doesn't feel great so I cringed and watched and didn't advocate for him like I wished I had. Next my younger son who was 6 at the time went. Dr Singh was rough, and did not listen. My son was in tears and didn't want to use the sucker for his spit because it was scaring him. He was squealing out for Dr Singh to stop over and over again but he would not stop. I stepped in and grabbed a cup for my son to spit into. Every time my child's hand went up for a break Dr Singh kept going and wouldn't stop. I had to keep stepping in and advocating- speaking almost at every turn and demanding that my son had a break, yet trying to keep it positive for my children (who have been going to the dentist since they were 3 and have had positive experiences without issue). When I checked out, I was in tears. I told the receptionist that no child should go to this dentist again. I called and reported to the dental director that this dentist should never EVER work on children again for cleanings or any kind of care or treatment plan. I left and we changed our dentist. My 6 year old is still walking through fear after what happened. I am so thankful that we left. This experience was horrible and I would never go to this office. I would pay double, or triple to be anywhere else. I would give zero stars if I could.
Very difficult working with them. Never can you receive the answer you need or the help from the person answering the phone. And almost always do you have to follow up with them. It’s never ever easy. And for the type… of work they do, it’s with people that need immediate assistance. And it’s dangerous if they don’t receive help right away. It’s a disaster.
Don't expect help if you have mental health needs. I was told today by my nurse practitioner that I could go elsewhere if I didn't like the care I received. Put on medication to help with anxiety for over a year then… took off it and was told "go to detox" if I was having issues coming off it. Unethical to treat a patient that way and unprofessional.
My wife brought our daughter to the new Walk In clinic that just opened and really had a great experience. During the visit she was prescribed some antibiotics and afterwards was able to go to the pharmacy in the same… building and her prescription was there waiting for her. She had never been here before and it was a relatively quick in and out. Thanks!
Great communication and assistance by my doctor's staff. Nurse, Hillary S. and Scheduling, Jennifer, are unbelievably reliable at responding to me and are very helpful with all my needs. It's a pleasant suprise to find… such competent and friendly support staff at a doctor's office during this stressful Covid climate. I hope CHC Cape Cod knows what great assets these girls are to their organization.
The Dental Clinic is top notch, very clean and with excellent staff. Steph, the hygienist, is excellent, as is Dr. Singh, who has done several dental procedures for me. I continue to be very satisfied.
The Bourne Community Health Center Dental Associates, is an excellent place to have your dental services done. Thank you to STEPH for being more than courteous and very, very kind, and she goes the extra mile to make… the visit easy as possible. She also smiles alot.Thank you again Steph. See you in 6 months.
