This place honestly saved my life. I was there a few years ago and ever since then I’ve been sober. And although there were times I was struggling I still persevered. Thanks to Jack, I’ve been sober for over 3 years!… And I got my grades up, graduated high school, and now am starting college in three weeks. I definitely recommend that if your kid needs help, bring them here!
at first you could say i probably hated being there but now being a year and 5 months clean thanks to them and there support it has brought me to a happy place to where i am today i probably was one of their most… difficult teens emotionally and i powered through it and graduated the program there you might not wanna get help or go to treatment its hard at first but trust the process and you will get out if you take the time for you and do the work for yourself i promise. emily and jack were wonderful people in my recovery i couldnt thank them enough
I went here about 4 years ago, my counselor worked super hard along side jack to find the best ways to help me. It took a lot of work to get me to be willing to even try to change but they never gave up on me even after… multiple times needing to go to residential and they encouraged me every step of the way. When i finally got sober they were my biggest cheerleaders and still are. Even after my counselor passed away jack has still continued to help me if i’m struggling and need support. I truly don’t believe i would have survived my addiction if i hadn’t come here, they counseled my family through my entire time in outpatient as well as inpatient and helped me build those relationships back. I couldn’t be more grateful for all of hard work and help they gave me! Jack is truly amazing at what he does and i couldn’t recommend this center more!!!
horrible building/food/staff/schedule the building is very unsanitary it’s dirty it’s ghetto and are insurance pays 907:50$ a day so why are we staying in these conditions and the dishes were never actually “washed”… staff just rinsed the silverware and plates off and the food is dollar store food and aldis it’s never that good they make us eat chicken at least 6-10 times a week and they like to tell people the program is safe it helps and they say it’s only 60-120 days that’s a complete lie they will have your kid in there til they're insurance starts to cut out i see to many kids in there that don’t deserve to still be there they can and will hold you there for 12 months for any small mistakes everyone in there is very miserable a lot of the time cause they don’t have us do stuff we sit inside all day and you can’t even watch or play the tv until 6:30 they don’t give us proper education on getting sober there “method” is to make you as bored as possible to figure out what you will do when you feel like that so you don’t relapse and the director is odd he started talking to us about masterbation and said do it in the shower that everyone uses on the boys unit which is super gross cause why talk to us abt it tell us to do it where we all needs to get clean i could keep going on but it’s so bad i ran away from here don’t send your kid here
Love the staff here; they are experienced and really care. Definitely recommend for adolescents.
The staff (specifically Olivia & Jack) are incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate. They create a welcoming environment for adolescents, and it’s clear they genuinely care about helping every child succeed.
I wish that I would've stayed at this facility longer than i did. The staff here try their hardest to be understanding, and work with the girls in the program. However i decided to run and ended up relapsing. But now… ive been over a year sober since June 3rd 2025. Not a day goes by where I dont appreciate the staff here for teaching me the importance of sobriety. Thank you to all the staff that work here, especially jack for putting up with my bs while i was here!!
2 Stars because of my Counselor Olivia, she was the highlight of my 16 day stay before i ran, Jack ( the director ) is a cheapskate, you rarely get to eat something new, and i had drank milk multiple times to find it… was spoiled, He also refused to turn the AC on when me and one of my roommates complained daily. There is several holes all over the facility, graffiti, etc.. The techs that are working with the kids are majorly unprofessional, they will bribe kids to do their job, help sneak carts in, so on so forth, Also a client recently spoke out about their Suicidal thoughts, and Clinician Daniel Lebre said " You shouldnt talk about things like that in front of me, because now i have to stay an hour later because you said that.", -- May be covered by insurance but its not worth losing your dignity.
I came through about 8 years ago! Crazy good food Is Big Nick(staff) still around ? Most of the staff was great
This place help push start my recovery and now I am 5 going on 2 6 months sober. If I had to point the finger at who is responsible for my change in attitude and view of self worth I would use my right hand to point at… Jack Benson for helping me find who I am and what my red flags are. I would point my left hand at olivia carlson for being my crutch through the hard times of bullying from other clients to self inflicted trouble she was there for all of it. If I had 1 wish it would be for her to know how much she saved me from my self. Thank you Anthony Louis Center.❤️🩹
I am sending my 17yr old daughter here so can get the help that I cannot provide. I have high hopes that this is EXACTLY the place that will help with everything she needs. I will give an update on how everything is… going. So far, so good!
went here twice now. the first time one of my good friends killed herself after going here.and if that doesn't warn you idk what will 🙏
Strict staff and rules and they’re always on your ahh
This was a great place so glad I chose to go here and turn my life around 133 days later I’m clean and sober and better than I have ever been and to everyone who has something bad to say about this place your wrong it… just didn’t work for you and you didn’t work the program thanks to cross,Dan,Jeff,Sonya, jack and the rest of the clinician team for helping me get through all the ups and downs great place 100% recommendations if you want to live a better and sober life thanks again to the staff members much love
After just finding my daughter’s journal from when she went back fora relapse stay I’m so sad to read what she went through.she was constantly berated for relapsing and made to feel like she was less than a person. She… was sexually harassed by a staff member and nothing was done or brought to my attention till she was leaving there. I’m very upset that I sent her thereby think it only added to her anxiety. The day I went to pick her up from there they tried to get me to turn around cause they told me she was still having dirty UAs, turns out the one in charge was switching up urine samples. The girls she was having over to her own home and smoking and drinking with were the one’s getting clean uDS’s. It was just a scam to try to get me to leave my daughter there longer and get the insurance money. Please consider a real treatment center through the state or somewhere. I think Anthony Lois center is not a place to send your teen.
Give Haley a raise 🙌🙌
I went here 6 years ago and at the time I was another moody teen with ODD. I hated most aspects of everything and I always acted out whenever I could. The experience was next to none though. Jack was hands down the best… counselor/director and everything I needed to push me to be me today. If it wasn't for these guys at this center I wouldn't be alive today. This isn't even mentioning Michelle. Rest in Peace. I couldn't be happier with my experience at On-Belay. I still feel like I'm mountain climbing and these guys are spotting me from a million miles away. If you want the best for your child, just as these counselors do, send them here.
I was at this place about 20 years ago I think it helped tremendously taught me a lot about sobriety my counselor was very helpful and the staff were great
personally this place helped me so much I liked it so much I went twice jk but they really did help me jack and Cory are amazing workers , they are both the reason I am sober today! Thank you Guys
Had a great experience years ago when I went. Close to 20 yrs ago now but. Nothing but positive memories there well trained staff. Impacted my life in a very amazing
My son struggled with behavioral and addiction after completing this program I can honestly say I had my son back.
love love love. i miss this place & the people. 😝
this is the worst treatment center to put your child in. i had a particularly hard time with the clinician (ruth). she would be the person you would be having the talks with, and i never felt comfortable talking about… anything with her which is a huge problem in rehab, she has no sense of empathy and i quote “here’s a tissue, i don’t care”. she said that. to the whole group, and she would say it repeatedly in her office and to the group. when i got kicked out i was told i would be on a ‘five day eject’, then my mom came to pick me up and told me i was getting kicked out, so my mom was basically the middle person for all of this. ruth was there at the beginning but couldn’t tell me i was kicked out. ruth would always complain about me to my mom on the phone. but anyways, the whole staff are pretty terrible and unhelpful. no one liked that place. even the 5 star kids. they all put on a front to make them think they were getting ‘better’. and they got drunk they day after graduation. if you want a sober child choose another place like fairview. if you want to punish your child, this is the place for you. the director (jack) would eat the kids’ candy they bought, and i’m pretty sure one of the staff took my snacks. the food is rarely good, and trust me, you will eat it anyway because of how small of proportions they would give you. you just have to hope and pray someone who can cook is in the kitchen. i would steal pieces of bread from how hungry i was. one staff there was particularly wasteful with the leftover food, even though we were hungry, to keep everything “even” or “fair” even though not everyone even wanted leftovers. there’s a lot more i could say but i hope this is enough to keep you from putting your child here.
do NOT send your kids here. i am still working on the trauma this place gave me. i would rather be on the streets using than be in there again, that’s how bad it is. and imo a male staff should NOT be working in an all… girls center. he would sit outside of our doors at night and come INTO OUR ROOMS. and if you did something they saw as “bad” your punishment would be (from my experience) not allowed to talk to my family, not allowed in the same room as everyone else, and for some reason treatment work as in WORKING ON YOUR SOBRIETY…was a PUNISHMENT!?? SEND YOUR GIRLS ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. a young addict in recovery deserves a safe, clean, and encouraging environment to grow in. i’m not even going to mention the mold in the walls, the flooding problem, or the bed bugs. this place is absolutely unacceptable.
I went there around 5-6 years ago and hope they’re a better center now. When I was there I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, the treatment of the kids was anything but therapeutic.
The staff are awesome. We found the help we were looking for.
I was a kid that went there and my experience was traumatic. I could write a book with everything that was messed up there. Especially the staff. Most of the time the staff acted inappropriately. The one I think about… the most is when a kid managed to sneak a cigarette into the facility and stashed in the bathroom, then when staff found it they had to strip search all the kids. I’m not talking about registered nurses or anything doing this. You can get a job there simply by applying on indeed. This lady came into the room where me and the other girls were, takes her vinyl glove and pulls it over her hand while doing a little finger dance and says “who’s first?”. Another found memory of this place, I was having a mental breakdown while sitting in the cafeteria area and they sent me to talk to a counselor.… the counselor gas-lit and told me to “stop crying, I want to go home and see my wife and kids.” Top tier moment was when one of the kids managed to steal a workers car and runaway. Do not send your kids here, it will only make their problem worse.
