the nurses laughed at me when i flinched and one of the nurses got mad at me for throwing up due to an allergic reaction to my medicine. generally rude except for two techs i forgot the names of this place needs to be… shut down. every review on here sounds the same. the patients here feel dehumanized and mistreated and in the end worse than when they went in.

I highly recommend Mrs. Ashley Wilson and the staff at St. Francis. Mrs. Wilson is an outstanding psychiatrist who truly cares about her patients and their well-being. She is a great listener, very knowledgeable about… medications, and always makes sure her patients feel heard, supported, and cared for. Her passion for helping others truly shows in the quality of care she provides. I would also like to recognize Mr.Arlington for his professionalism and great personality. He always makes sure my appointments are scheduled properly and provides excellent customer service. The reminder system at St. Francis is phenomenal and very helpful in keeping patients informed and prepared for their appointments. Overall, the care, compassion, and professionalism from the entire team have been a true blessing. Thank you all for the amazing work you do!

I’ve been seeing Ashley, a Nurse Practitioner, under Dr. John, for a year, as my Psychiatrist was retiring soon. Her care has been instrumental in my recovery. She is kind, compassionate and always goes above and… beyond! The staff here is kind, as well. I had a slight issue with an employee, just having a bad day, I guess. Nothing major and I communicated that to Ashley and it was remedied immediately. But, everyone is kind and compassionate, from the office staff to the providers and I highly recommend this office for your mental health needs. I even saw a Doctor, here, when Ashley was on vacation and he was also kind and attentive.

Way too cold in the uninsured building. The day room is freezing, almost inhabitable. Staff pretty good but not fond of the uninsured medical doctor but the psychologist are good. The food is ok but they don't have the… condiments to match. Diabetic patients but no sweetener, for example. Nothing but cold water was available, drink machine and fountain broken. No activities or outside time as listed on the daily schedule. Meds and mental health questions is what you basically get if uninsured. No real therapy but at least some help is available.

My daughter spent over 2 months in your care. I attended 2 virtual court mtgs and listened to the psychiatrist's and case manager's report. I must say I'M VERY GRATEFUL to ALL of you! I've got my daughter back. You were… also instrumental in helping her transition to an apt. She'll continue with outpatient support for her meds and counseling. I got to see and hug my daughter today when she came to my home to get some of her belongings . I'm fighting back tears as I'm writing this review because I've witnessed Father God's mercies and healing through your professionalism. Thank you for giving me my daughter back. You were also kind enough to communicate via email with her brother aka advocate during her care because he resides in Chicago.Keep doing what you're doing. Thanks and blessings.

When I was in 3rd grade my parents took me to the Bradley Center . My teachers told them that I was inattentive and suicidal. I had problems in all my classes and made low grades. The doctor at the Bradley Center could… not do anything about my problems and said that I was normal. It was not until 2012 that I found out by a psychiatrist in LaGrange Ga. That I was ADD. I am disappointed that the doctors there could not find my problem. I also had problems when my Dad was a patient there. They prescribed a medicine that was addictive and he almost overdosed.

I was not impressed. My first visit was with both a resident and a student. My valid concerns about my ADHD symptoms were basically blown off and I was told they would be treating issues that I already have under… control ( anxiety and depression)and didn't really seem to validate my concerns. Then at the end of the session a Dr Hannah came in and also blew off my concerns about ADHD and that was that. I was treated like an idiot and felt I was not taken seriously. I will be going somewhere else. Also, just making an initial appointment took 2 weeks of back and forth phone calls and lots of hoops to jump through. It really seemed like they didn't want to help me or have any new patients.

My problem with Crisis stabilization units is that they do not check for hormones, thyroid, and T4 levels as first line of treatment because it's not cost effective. So, instead they rather treat the symptoms with… antidepressants ect instead of the cause. If I was a doctor then I would check those things first, but instead they don't. This ensures that you'll come back everytime. I have yet to meet a success story over the long run for these treatments. Infact, the patients digress into worse and worse state of being. So, it's no wonder you see the same exact patients over and over. And some a lifetime. And that's the proof in the pudding that they aren't helping people. I think doctors should be ashamed, but they aren't because the money is good. The only thing the Bradley is good for is detox and it's barely good for that. You don't have to be a doctor to understand what should be common sense. My entire life has been plagued with low energy, motivation, weight loss, and it's not depression. It's hormones. They'll say "Low energy " must be depression. Let's medicate you on three different thing's that you don't need. Things that will further effect your hormones ect. They know you'll be back. No doubt about it. Sad truth? America's Healthcare system is broken. It's full of half truths just enough to get you by and never enough to get you well. And that is what our medical students are being taught and then wondering why they can't help the people they are trying to help. It's a sad and pathetic state of affairs. I just know the doctors will love this review because they know. You don't go to medical school because your dumb. They know. Patients are lab rats whenever they should be treated as human beings. To clarify, I had no issues with the staff or nurses while being at the Bradley. Food is good is also.

Staff is slightly okay, the entire protocol is absolutely terrible and that entire center should be shut down. It left my kid feeling dehumanized, disoriented, and traumatized for simply stating words that were not… sugarcoated. This entire facility should be ashamed of the way they handle business and the way they handle minors. Left in a cold room for 3 hours and tried to take my kid in for a hold. Absolutely disrespectful and unsafe. It will NOT make it better by putting someone under a hold like they've went on a killing spree.

So hard to get refills- limited phone hours, hard to get someone on the phone and hard to verify your medicine is actually being filled. I haven’t been able to talk to a real person on the phone to get my medicine in… about 3 weeks. My rating used to be a 5, but it is unfortunately lower now. As far as the front desk staff for psychiatry where I went for appointments, they have always been extremely kind. I also love my psychiatrist as he’s also very kind and I love him talking with him. However, I find the getting refills for my medicine is so difficult. I have not have my heart medication for about 3 weeks now. The phone hours are limited. In high-school, the only time I was available to call and ask for a refill was during lunch and they are all out for lunch as well. I did not get out of school until 4, which is when they are not in the office anymore. Fridays, they’re only open from 8:30-12 which is extremely limited and I often am not able to call before then. There is a 24-hour line but they cannot help with medicine because they’re only for admissions. Both of my pharmacies have requested my heart medication and I have yet to receive it. I have left multiple voicemails about my heart medication and have not heard back. Even when I call during their phone hours, I get the voicemail every time. It shouldn’t be this hard to talk to a human. Getting sent to voicemail every time feels like I’m talking to a wall. I wish we could maybe request through an app ( you can do this with Publix but only if there are refills left). They just need to have much more communication and transparency. I really like the people I have met here but it seriously needs to be easier to get my medication refilled and actually be able to talk to somebody make to make it happen.

They always remove my review. Dr. Hudson falsified my records because I said men on the streets were harassing me, and he laughed at me. I will never forgive him and this hospital for removing my reviews and keeping him… as a doctor.

I left here feeling anxious, unsafe, stressed, hurt, and deeply disturbed. The resident was awesome but the psychiatrist was condescending and intentionally misdiagnosed me. I laid everything out in front of them and… felt ignored. I will be happy to continue to see the resident but I’m left feeling shocked by the clear dismissive attitude from the actual psychiatrist. I can’t believe the way I was handled when I’m already going through such a difficult time and needed to feel heard.

This psychiatry office is so hard to reach and annoying to deal with. For context, I have been without my emergency anxiety meds for weeks, and when I talked to the prescription nurse she said I can’t get it… re-prescribed until I have another appointment with my doctor? That doesn’t even make sense, it’s not controlled. Also whenever I try to make an appointment I can’t get one for a few months, so what I have to go months now without my meds?? My main issue with this office is that you literally can’t call and talk to anyone, you have to leave a voicemail, but then you can’t even leave voicemails outside of office hours, so what is the use of them? I do not have time during the day to make calls, I need to be able to leave AT LEAST voicemails outside of office hours. I am so tired of dealing with something new every time I need my meds.

Dr. John over prescribes her patients. Very clearly continues to prescribe stimulants to patients that not only have issues using methamphetamine, but also have heart issues on top of the OBVIOUS substance abuse. Very,… VERY rarely drug tests. Even if you pop positive for methamphetamine, you still get your concerta! Disgusting behavior on her part. Refuses to listen to the family’s cries for help, and just continues to prescribe more stimulants.

The front staff are truly horrid in each and every way. Every time I go there, the younger lady always has an attitude and snaps that she's busy and to go to another person. Most of the time she's either eating a snack,… playing on her phone, or just being a negative person. Why work front desk at a place where people are coming there to get help for mental health? I literally cringe when I hear her voice on the phone because she is so awful and has an attitude and let's you know by snapping and sighing and huffing. I use to like getting help here, but now I dread every appointment. Columbus, GA has a terrible network of doctors in the psychiatry field, and mostly just treat patients with the bare minimum of kindness. But the front desk staff? Hands down below subpar. I mean the bar is below the ground and they still slide under. I wish they would stop hiring miserable people to sign in patients, but oh well.

The Bradley center really did treat me good I was going threw a lot of stuff and when I would talk to some doctor there they diagnosed me pretty fast but the meds they prescribed me with it helped me a lot I feel so… much better with my self. And I met really cool people. And we played the Wii there so I loved it I had so much fun. The food was good the games was fun and the workers were really sweet but the bad thing I would say is the bed I js didn’t feel comfortable it felt like a big grocery bag that was the size of a twin bed blow up bed and when my cousin went she found blood under her mattress after they make us take off the sheets and put it on the floor the day we’re about to leave

I have been seeing a nurse practitioner for psychiatric meds here on an outpatient basis for 4 or 5 years now. She herself is great. However, the office staff and systems are awful. It's frankly ridiculous that I can't… leave a message to reorder prescriptions outside of the place's short phone hours. I have to call when they're open just to get sent to the voicemail box for prescriptions. Then I need to wait up to 72 hours, and of course weekends don't count. Currently on day two of SSRI withdrawals because of this!! And that's just for SSRIs. Have fun trying to get your ADHD meds refilled. I've had trouble with billing too, and of course things aren't explained well. For what it's worth, I also did two inpatient stays as a teenager. At the time it was deeply unhelpful. I had previously come out as transgender and that was not taken seriously at all. A decade later I am in fact still transgender. In the years following I've actually had PTSD around my stays. It took me years to seek help at all again, and things got very dangerous for me. Sadly, I'm not sure there are many better options for psychiatric help in Columbus. But please explore every other option first before resorting to the Bradley Center.

I found myself in a heart-wrenching situation with The Bradley Center, when I desperately sought information about my wife’s well-being. Instead of the reassurance I needed, I was met with an unsettling indifference that… cut deep. As I pleaded for updates, the staff's tone felt dismissive, as if my concerns were an inconvenience. They seemed eager to end the call, showing little regard for the turmoil I was experiencing. Each vague response only intensified my anxiety, leaving me in a state of helplessness. It was agonizing to feel that my wife’s health—something so precious and fragile—was treated with such callousness. In those moments of fear and uncertainty, I yearned for empathy and clear communication. Instead, I was met with a wall of apathy, making me question not only the care my wife was receiving but also the humanity of those tasked with providing it. The experience was not just about missing information; it was about feeling completely alone in a moment of profound distress When I asked for information about her well-being, I was met with vague responses and a reluctance to engage in a meaningful conversation. It felt like my concerns were dismissed, leaving me anxious and unsure about her status. Instead of receiving support, I was encouraged to hang up, which only intensified my worry. In moments like these, clear communication and compassion are crucial, and I hope my experience highlights the importance of better support for families in distress.
