Amazing treatment center full of caring professionals! My daughter guest dosed here and immediately fell in love with the staff! Her and her family moved to St Pete from out of state. She was super afraid to transfer… but the wonderful team at Lakeside made her feel extremely welcome. My daughter has been through so much the past few years, so I am grateful they made her transfer as smooth as they did. ❤️🙏

This place is a scam. If you have insurance, they will tell you they take it and then do the exact opposite.. It's not just me. I've heard from multiple ppl that go here. They tell you they will reimburse you. But I… don't know anyone who has been reimbursed. IF you ask for them to actually do what the director told you, she will then bully you, and tell you everything she said never happened.. If it was just my experience, I wouldn't be putting it out there bc 1 personal experience doesn't mean she will treat everyone in the same manner. But besides that. The only positive to this place is that it's not as busy as the other places.. But pick any other clinic. There are a few that offer way more than this place. Lakeside/medmark is just dispensing methadone for your cash money daily. They care about nothing but that. Also. If you get prescription to any benzos now, they don't accept that even with a prescription. I'd suggest just trying the other clinics in the area unless you are rich and transferring, and already have take homes bc it'll take you months to get those. At other clinics you can go to a group and get weekend take homes asap. Not this place. Good luck..

I would like to publicly apologize for a review I made in anger.Ms.Doreen,Ms.Trudi,amd Mr.Milton no matter how much bullshit I create for them,they still act in a very professional manner that just amazes me.I am not… perfect by a long shot,but the faith these three have in me to succeed goes beyond anything I have ever experienced in my life.Thank you lakeside.

A Great place and a great bunch of people they make you feel comfortable and give you respect

Great Clinic, Great Counselor Staff, I personally love the Nurses even when they are rude and short ... I get it we all have off days. Where I lost respect for this clinic was today...when they allowed a COVID POSITIVE… patient (who I KNOW was COVID POSITIVE because not only was she showing symptoms left and right but she also was very vocal about her frustration about having to wait outside it her dose to be "brought to me while I fight this covid"...) to walk into the building without a mask on, she was frustrated no one came to her car yet even though there was a line all the nurses were tending to. COVID Positive, coughing all over in the building without a mask (while the rest of us get yelled at like dogs if a mask even slips in line) and absolutely no consequences!!!! Then the rudeness that came out of the nurses mouth after? Oh no no sorry. I'm sure the rudeness was hearing the patient was actually in the building, or at least I'll write it off as that because she's normally very pleasant. Nurse did not see her inside or acted as if she didn't (unsure) because covid Patient hightailed it back outside when the nurses door opened. This clinic has now been reported for failing to follow covid guidelines and risking all the patients health. Disgusted. 3 stars for the amazing Counselors and cleanliness of location. The Counselors and the Director are the ones that keep that place running, the Director is very nice. Unfortunately I do not believe she witness the COVID Patient standing in the building because the COVID Patient did try to keep herself hidden as she knew she wasn't suppose to be inside. Real easy to fix "All COVID Patients must remain outside, upon entering the building Covid Positive you will be placed on a "do not dose" list for 24 hrs (even if pregnant)." We are all adults we all should be held to our actions accordingly. Otherwise decent place.

Best clinic in the Tampa st Pete area by far the best place

I’ve been going to Lakeside Clinic for several years now and I have never had any problems! They get you in and dosed and on your way to start your day. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and Ms. Doreen, the… director, goes above and beyond to help me with anything I’ve ever needed.

If your truly needing help then this is the place ! They truly help get my life back on track and I’m always going to be grateful for the amazing staff. Thank you 😊

This is a one of the best methadone clinics in all Pinellas county and I've been to them all this is the best by far staff is kind then and very polite and they'll go out of their way to help you above and beyond.… Director Doreen is an awesome human being she she actually truly cares about her clients and she helps everybody no matter what your situation is she'll try to do whatever she can to resolve it it's just all around very good clinic no lines in and out it's clean it's just one of the best clinics I recommend it to anybody that's trying to get into outpatient methadone treatment.

It really is the best clinic to go to in Pinellas. They are very compassionate, and the setting is more of a medical office rather than a business. The other clinics see your money first, and treatment second IMO. I got… on the right track here. The downside is they currently do not take insurance, it's 14 dollars a day where as some others are free or have a copay with insurance. They open at 515 and close at 1230. I suggest you call early for intake because they can't always do intake without an appointment.

I have been a patient at lakeside for 2 years and Dorene Volpe has always gone above and beyond when it comes to making sure my needs are met. She has given me helpful referrals to aid me outside of the clinic and has… been an amazing counselor when I needed it.

I have family here so I come about 2×s a yr, quick lines, quick intake and less money than prior clinic I used to use. Very good clinic for guests only one I could find that will start u on weekends n holidays

I've been to a couple of the different clinics in the area. Lakeside Clinic is by far the best. For the most part, you can just come in, dose, and see your counselor as needed. No bs. No people outside trying to sell… you drugs or asking you for drugs or money like at Bay Area. If you work in the mornings, you can usually be in and out quickly with no hassle. And the Staff is great. From the director to the nurses to the counselors. They all care about your well being. Some other patients may not agree with that assessment but in my experience if you come in and handle your business and don't bs anybody, you will have zero problems.

Best clinic in the area although that’s not saying much. More a slight to the other local clinics than here. The director, Dorene, is fantastic and really cares. I’ve had great counselors the whole time I’ve been there,… and it’s always clean. I also appreciate how the staff stays on top of the comings and goings to prevent this place from becoming a hangout for junkies. I drive here from DTSP while there are 3-4 clinics much closer. Always worth the drive and effort. Great place if you are serious about yourself.

Everytime I'm here I'm shown love and support. I don't know where I would be or what I would do without the help of these AMAZING people. It's hard to find people who care, love what they do and don't judge you. Thank… you for everything ❤️

This place is crooked and the coordinator is a drunk and very rude and plays favorites and is nice at first to get you to talk to her and then she uses what you tell her against you later on. Very toxic environment… would not recommend this place for treatment until the management is gone...

They say they care .i had an issue with my counselor. Before the director even knew te circumstance, she sided with her.I believe im a paying customer, last time i checked. Then when I spoke up threatened to not dose… me...hmmm taking it above ..not right .bapy area stay there.

A certain employee at this establishment has always given me dirty looks everytime I passed her way I will give her the benefit of the doubt she may have what some people call R.B.F. but from what I've seen she doesn't… treat the other patients this way ; and today I was a first hand witness to a bad situation that had happened this morning and when I tried explaining to her what I had saw and heard instead of treating me with respect (which I was raised you always treat someone with respect until they speak to you or act towards you in such a way they no longer deserve your respect) and letting me quickly say what I had to say she kept cutting me off and yelling at me when all I was trying to do was help her easily figure out the truth.

I was at a clinic that was a disaster. I found out about Lakeside and the women running it and i did not think twice about switching over. The director is very supportive and greets you every morning. She also want to… make sure your recovery is going well. My counselor is also very supportive and is always making sure your recovery is going well. Keep up the good work.
