Operation PAR Inc – Clearwater Detox and Rehab Services

Operation PAR Inc – Clearwater appears on the register for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Operation PAR Inc – Clearwater Address, Location and Contact Information

The site is at 6150 150th Avenue North in Clearwater, Florida, 33764. Clearwater sits in Pinellas County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

They are focused on their own interests and financial gain is their priority. Especially the main accountant on the first floor who knows her influence over the accountant's compensation but chooses to support others… while I'm nearing completion of the program but chooses not to help me. If you approach her when she's in a good mood you might receive favorable treatment but when she's not she may feign ignorance or provide misinformation. Despite challenges I'm driven to succeed in this place and so close to completing this program. But now that this came up im not sure which way this will go. The main nursing staff is the only one i feel like stands out as a caring professional who gets things done.

This place is disgusting, very dirty, the walls the floor the BATHROOM. They have a double standard for how they treat people. For instance one person can have an overdose right out front and continue dosing their daily… no problem another person can have Medicaid and be told after 5 months of it not being paid that now they need to pay out of pocket all of a sudden or be dosed out at 10 mg a day. You have to bring your medication in to be counted if you take any other substances and Alex has a problem with when you bring it in it has to be the exact right moment for some people. I used to bring it in at the beginning of the month that was a problem the end of the month that was a problem I saw just several people who bringing their medication at the very beginning of every month and never had the issues I had they literally started dosing me out of the program because I refuse to bring in my medication every single week so that I could be hassled by the druggies in the parking lot when they see me at that window. I'm so glad I switched clinics. UPDATE I am no longer on methadone!! The new clinic helped me get my dose low and then I weaned myself the rest of the way. I was so tired of going to the clinic. It has its purpose but I really wouldn't recommend methadone to anyone, it is so hard to get off of if you're looking for an alternative to withdrawal try buprenorphine. it doesn't make you tired in the middle of the day. Even when I was on 10 mg of methadone I was tired everyday. I could barely hold down a job. The struggle in having to go to the place every single day until they deem you fit to get one take home, the process is incredibly slow when you can go get buprenorphine and get a whole week's worth the very first visit. Wherever you go don't go to par. Brand new one out there who's still struggling just know that we all do, you're not alone. don't let the shame keep you trapped. Anyone can become an addict I don't care what they say about it, most of us started off on pain pills during the oxy epidemic. When you get prescribed pills from the doctor you get addicted to them. There's nothing simple about it because it's organic it can happen to anyone. But not everyone chooses to get clean.

I'm a 52 year old man unfortunately been going through a dictionary for over 30 years I've been trying for 2 weeks to get into the detox program there and because I'm a methadone and when I get off of it because of the… side effects I'm getting and which are really dangerous in the Sun I'm told to taper off at my clinic before I got five different other answers I was told to drop from 70 to 30 mg from my clinic and then go get a 7-Day takeout then after Bridget told me her supervisor needed to call me and never did and then I tried to call Bridget back towards the end of the day nobody answered I went there the next day to find out what was going on this evening I was told I was harassing them when I was trying to find out what I need to do to get into the program this evening I was told to go back to my methadone clinic in taper off to zero how will I be able to do that and not work and not pay my bills because if I do work out in the heat I might die because of the methadone I'm taking she told me that if I feel sick to go to the emergency room I believe that's the care coordinator if you got a problem I would go to Lakeside medmark

Listen, I believe they may have helped many people throughout the years, And still do, But it’s set up for failure, They have no after care, They don’t follow you after you leave, A 6 month program, you can’t work until… 4 months in , So u have 2 months to save for a place, that’s not enough time for saving, . They don’t allow real life experiences , You get a pass for 4 hours on one day of the weekend, 2 hours of that is traveling, so it’s not worth even going out, because you are so stressed about getting back on time. If your pass is even allowed, because if they don’t like where you are going or what you’re doing, your pass is denied. Medication that was refrigerated, they never gave me when I left, I tested it , to see if they would make a phone call to me and let me know my medication was still there, No they never called, Thank goodness i had some in my refrigerator at home. Also they apply for food stamps for you while you are there, And they use them for what? I don’t know?? Then when you leave, they get them shut off, Well my case was closed because PAR never gave a forwarding address, When they have my home address because I was still going to them for the study . They don’t do enough to get you ready for the real world, and afterwards, Set up for failure

This place really helps a lot if you just stick with it and want it for yourself everyone is super nice and compassionate and super helpful, and they are just there that do their job and they're all professionals, and… they do very well at the job and they're very kind and they just want to see people do better, that struggle with addiction, but you also have to want it for yourself. The program works. It's definitely a great program. I definitely recommend it if you're struggling with an addiction. It helped me and I helped other people I know friends and family i rate it a 5 star and the staff you guys are awesome work very hard.

If you are coming off opiates do not go here. They do not give you anything to make you feel comfortable/take the ease away. I had to find out through another client that you have to beg your counselor in order to get a… dose of methadone or suboxone. There’s NO doctor that I saw the whole time I was there just a nurse practitioner. I came in with nose spray because I need it to breathe out of my nose due to my deviated septum they took it and would only let me use it every 12 hours. They originally told me I couldn’t use it at all because they didn’t know if I put drugs in it. Get real, I’m here to get OFF drugs. That’s why I got discharged because I asked to use my nose spray after asking for a nurse for 2+ hours and I finally snapped. The nurses are NEVER at the nurse station when you need them. You can’t wear tank tops (girls and guys). The only positive was that the food was good, you can smoke and the techs are cool and seem like the only ones that do their jobs. Just trust me if you’re coming off any opiates don’t go here.

I went to operation Par while going through College in the Tampa Bay Area. I had been on another methadone clinic in New York actually in New Rochelle next to Larchmont where I and my twin brother David grew up or sort… of grew up addicted to opiates with methadone being the new medicine for treating addiction. The year was 1970 and I was in my Senior Year at Mamaroneck High School. I graduated in 1971 and came to Tampa on methadone flying back and forth monthly for my meds. My parents moved to Orlando in 1972 and told the clinic in N.Y. that we had moved. It was my mom’s idea to get me off the medication Methadone which she accompanied and I was sick for over a month of my freshman year but it got better and I was able to stay clean till January of my sophomore year when my twin introduced me to Percodan and the rat race starts again. I was given methadone at a new clinic in Tampa and spent 2 years going to college and the program in Tampa till I detoxed again and stayed clean until one day while at an A+P grocery store working and my twin showed up. He had come over from Orlando and guess what he brought me ? Yup , Percodan and the rat race continues. I was off methadone about half of my 5 years in College. When I graduated in 1976 I began treatment at the Operation Par program located on 4th Street S. If you would like to hear how my life and my twins life has gone or not gone just check the thumbs up and I’ll give you 35 more years being stuck in this quagmire of opioids and addiction now at 70 years old I will…. Sorry No4 years ago

When someone calls you to find out if you got their paperwork because they’ve already had an intake interview and we’re doing what they were asked to do, make sure that when you finish the call the phone actually hangs… up before you call a person who needs help a B1tch. Very unprofessional, I hope the doctors and nurses and staff that the patients deal with on a daily basis are better then you who just answered the phone and tried to get information that’s already in the system because I’ve been calling everyday. Also don’t tell people you’re going to call them back in an hour or two but actually take 5 days to do so. I’m not even in there yet and because of one person who just answered the phone I really don’t want to go, no wonder people don’t want to get help. Carla is awesome, I met her during my first intake visit and she helped calm me down as I was having a panic attack, so lots of props to you Carla. But the lady who answered the phone today who didn’t answer my question but expected me to answer hers, you need to go back an relearn customer service skills, kindness, and compassion. Oh, and stop calling people names who need help or at least make sure the phone hangs up first. I now know you and the 1st lady I talked to today are one in the same. Once I finally get in, if they actually let me in after this review, I may update it with a better review except for the lady I talked to this morning, that will stay the same. so far its staying at 1 star because I cant give it 0 stars. They said they called me yesterday and left a message saying they had abed for me and gave me the time they called. Funny thing is, is that my phone never rang and it shows no voice mail. So not only do they take forever to call you, now they lie about calling you.
