New horizons the previous company that ran Lawrence Medical Center was five stars and nothing less. so this review does not reflect staff whatsoever. the staff is amazing. the issue is the company that bought new… horizons. let's start off with the fact that you cannot get through to a live person because they now have an AI answer the phone and then you leave a message so if you're in a jam you're going to have to wait a few days to get a call back. once again this is not the staff's fault this is Lawrence Medical center's fault. they've now closed the Lynn location on Mondays but haven't updated their website. they've now changed their policy so you can only get a bridge script once a year which is heinous. it is very likely that somebody have more than one situation a year especially in recovery where they may not make it to their appointment and Lawrence Medical Center now gives one bridge script and I truly believe that's going to result in relapses when a patient is stuck trying to get their medication but can't get to an appointment. New horizons medical was one of the best Suboxone providers in the state if not the best. but as usual when a big company take over it's all about money and unfortunately patience and most likely the wonderful staff have to deal with the demands of Lawrence Medical center. it's supposed to be a treatment facility. it's as important as somebody getting chemotherapy. but Lawrence Medical Center has now made it so you cannot contact a staff member directly which they always we're very helpful and it was comforting to know that you could speak to them anytime they were open. but Lawrence Medical Center has stripped away the thing that made New horizons Medical Center so amazing by taking away patience ability to speak to them directly rather than get sent to a machine. I love you guys at Lawrence Medical Center you guys still get five stars if I could give you $10 I would but this review and this reading purely reflects the company itself not the employees whatsoever.
Nobody answers the phone ever this place is ridiculous. Don’t waste your time.
Every time I come here they always take good care of me and especially the people at the front office
The worst medical facility I've ever had to deal with. Dropping appointments unannounced, no contact info but the 1 and only which is pointless, bad manners and dependability is gone. Basically a waste of time.
Horizons has been a large part of me getting well. The front staff amazing and providers exceptionally wonderful. If you are looking for a better way of life while getting well, new horizons is where it’s at. We’ll… forever be grateful for the continuing care and compassion that they give me thank you to each and every one of you.
This is hands down the best place in the North Shore to get treatment. EVERYONE that works there is extremely nice (especially Canar she is awesome!) and I never feel judged. I travel periodically for business and they… are always very accommodating with me and I have the best Dr that I’ve ever had here. I can’t say enough positive things about New Horizons and the Lynn, MA location, if you are needing help with an opioid dependency and truly want to get treatment this is the place I would go to. 10 stars!
Jasmine goes above and beyond and deserves a raise. Seriously. I'm still blown away that someone went out of their way like she did to help me. People like her deserve to be recognized. I've been coming here for a long… time, and there's a reason I stay at this location. Thanks to the whole staff for always being kind and understanding 👍 and give Jasmine a raise!! No one has helped me solve an issue like that in a while. I never leave reviews like this.
My experience here has been great. EVERYONE is always being so helpful. I want to thank the girls at the front desk Kenar, Heydi,Santina are the best thank you again.
Beautiful staff. Friendly and outgoing . This location is my favorite.
I just wanted to commemorate the staff there because what they for me is self explainable. I appreciate all the following staff santina,Heydi,Kenar,Gina,Stella thanks again for all that for do and I will remember to… keep hope alive.
The girls are a joy whenever I visit. Makes the appointment enjoyable. So happy to have found this place. Saved my life. Thanks ladies !!
Love this clinic! The girls at front desk so their best to help out, thank you! Manager was very helpful and Heydi always keeps me laughing. Great office!
I always look forward to my appointments with Stella Uchendu. She is kind, compassionate, understanding and listens to everything you have to say. Since treatment my life has improved immensely and I owe that to Stella… for her diligence and dedication to her patients. Update: I had to write another review because I’ve been very busy, which isn’t an excuse but they accommodated me every single time with no issues and go out of their way to make sure I am always seen without being annoyed or seeming inconvenienced. All the receptionist do whatever they can to help make my life easier and I appreciate it immensely and had to let everyone know this is the best treatment center around. They’re super friendly and always have a smile on their face no matter what, even when I’m changing appointments 24/7. Thank you all ❤️
New Horizons Medical team's customer service is really good and polite. Monisha, Heydi, Edwin and Kenar are the best whenever I come into the office. Love this place.
I've been without my medication for weeks and absolutely no one is willing to help me. I call for days straight and I keep being told that it will get fixed and that the psychiatrist Annette will make sure my meds are… sorted but of course another week goes by and nothing was done. Very clear she doesn't care about her patients, I have NO idea how this is even remotely okay. Between the Lynn office and the Quincy one, the mistakes lately are very consistent. It used to be a great place but now there's always something being messed up. It truly makes my life a nightmare dealing with all these mistakes.
This place is a joke front staff is useless there either on their phones or bothered by patients have been at the clinic two years will now be switching because of their incompetence and rudeness!
This place is borderline medical malpractice leaving people for days at a time without prescriptions claiming the doctor called you. Switching all visits to weekly to make more money off insurance god forbid you… actually want to talk to your doctor they aren’t even in office front desk staff enjoys playing god with peoples prescriptions this place is a joke apparently they only respond when it’s a positive review
This place used to be good but now Doctors don’t call you for appointments staff that works the front desk can’t be bothered to actually contact doctors sad this used to be a good place now it’s basically a pill mill to… make money like everywhere else
The staff is very friendly and incredibly helpful. The therapy department is great 👍
This place is great. The staff is always amazing and extremely helpful. They will treat you with kindness and respect and help you with any questions or issues. The doctors and therapists are amazing. I have never had a… bad experience here. They are always on top of everything. Thanks New Horizons for always being amazing, patient and kind. They truly care about their patients. If you are seeking treatment... this is where you want to go. They will welcome you and help you every step of the way
I just wanted to take the time to Thank new horizons for all the help and continuous support they have given me. Stella has given me the support to stay on the right track week in and week out. Also want to thank… Vladislava for helping me with insurance issues , appointments. Everyone in new Horizons truly cares about your recovery on an individual basis. I highly recommend New horizons for anyone looking into recovery. I could have done it without them......... Thank you New horizons
New Horizons has helped me start my life! It's not only for meds, it's for so much more. They are all so nice and helpful, and with the staff guidance I've built a complete new life in just 2 yrs. Am so grateful for… them. Definitely the place to go for help if you need it.
Being in treatment was a disaster for me until I found New Horizon's in Lynn. I had gone to two former treatment centers and found the experience deplorable. When I started New Horizons in Lynn, I was instantly accepted… and felt comfortable that I was not being judged. The staff is so professional and they care about our sobriety. We're not just numbers to them, we are humans being treated for our disease that is addiction. From the front desk, to the medical assistants, and the Doctor, every single person goes above and beyond to make sure that we stay on our sobriety path. I am a trans woman and I was never treated unfairly like I was in past treatment centers. If I could give them 100 stars I would and if you or someone you know is struggling with addiction I advise you call New Horizons in Lynn and schedule an appointment. It was honestly one of the best choices I made and I'm sure it'll be the same for you. There amazing😘🥰❣
I have received both professionalism and a genuine care for our recovery. I have never asked the staff their for help and not received it. The staff are all invested in our recovery, as we are as well. I have always had… a great experience with all staff. They have gone above and beyond to keep me Clean and ALIVE
I’ve been going here for 2+ years. All the employees go out of their way to be kind & helpful. The front desk, my counselor & MD are very accommodating if something comes up that makes me late or need to reschedule. The… admin & medical staff run the office efficiently-I am consistently seen at the time of my appointment. In the rare event they are running behind they make sure to let me know as soon as possible. I’ve never felt judged here, I actually look forward to speaking with my counselor! The care at New Horizon has changed life.. I cant recommend them enough.
