STEPS Inc – Orlando Detox and Rehab Services
The provision listed at STEPS Inc – Orlando is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

STEPS Inc – Orlando Address, Location and Contact Information
You will find this provider at 1033 North Pine Hills Road, Orlando, Florida, 32808. The city lies within Orange County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

STEPS Inc – Orlando Reviews and Ratings
Reviews of STEPS Inc in Orlando from patients, loved ones and referring professionals are collected in this section, together with reviews gathered from around the web.
As someone who believes in supporting organizations that help people rebuild their lives, my experience with Steps Inc. left me deeply concerned. Based on what I observed, I would strongly encourage any prospective… donor, sponsor, volunteer, or community partner to thoroughly evaluate this organization before deciding to support it financially. One of the biggest red flags was the attitude displayed by the receptionist. She came across as dismissive, hostile, and completely lacking in empathy. And whenever I mentioned this to the CEO Cheryl Bello, my feedback was simply shrugged off. People seeking assistance are often facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives, yet some of the interactions I witnessed felt cold, unprofessional, and, at times, outright contemptuous. The front desk is often the first impression of an organization, and unfortunately, it was a very poor one. I was equally disappointed by the overall leadership and culture. An organization’s values should be reflected in the way staff treat the very people they claim to serve. In my experience, there appeared to be a lack of professionalism, accountability, and compassion. Rather than feeling inspired to support the mission, I left questioning whether the organization is living up to it. For anyone considering making a donation, sponsoring programs, or otherwise supporting Steps Inc., I strongly recommend conducting your own due diligence. Visit in person. Ask questions. Observe how clients are treated. Speak with current and former participants if possible. A nonprofit’s mission statement may sound wonderful, but the true measure of an organization is how it treats people when no one is watching. There are many deserving organizations doing incredible work in our communities. Before investing your hard-earned money into any nonprofit, make sure it’s actions align with it’s stated mission. Based on my experience, I would not feel comfortable supporting Steps Inc. financially.
I was a client here, and honestly, my experience wasn’t great. I’m not saying this lightly, because I know places like this are supposed to help people get back on their feet. From the start, the front desk interaction… felt cold and unwelcoming. When you’re already dealing with a lot, that kind of attitude hits harder than people realize. It didn’t feel like a place that truly cares about the people walking through the door. Overall, the vibe just felt off. Not very organized, not very compassionate, and not the kind of environment that makes you feel supported or motivated to stick around and improve your situation. I’d tell anyone considering this place, whether as a client or even someone thinking about supporting it, to really look around and trust what you see, not just what you’re told. Edit: Tommy Moss definition thinks he's entitled. Furthermore, it's easy to see that Mr Moss might be a little racist. That being said, I recently came across a Caucasian male who shared with me his experience. Affording to the Caucasian male, Tommy Moss made the following statement: "don't think you can come here and pull your white privilege card." The client was only asking common, general questions that anyone would ask when seeking services. Mr Moss: everything we've heard about you is true.
Allowing employees to park like this in a tiny and dangerous parking lot is ridiculous. In no world is parking like this acceptable; the fact that it was an employee that parked like this and they thought it was no big… deal to do so is genuinely selfish and disturbing behavior. The entitlement of this super sized employee is both deeply disturbing and shameful.
Steps was amazing to me, they helped me get off my DOC at the MAT clinic with kindness and respect always. I wish I knew more staff by name to thank them all individually 🧡 I will miss the MAT clinic staff most of all… now that I’m completely clean.
⭐ 1 Star Steps Inc is unprofessional and disrespectful. A staff member interrupted my intake to mock another client, and both staff laughed. And then the same staff member spoke to me in a curt, demanding way with zero… empathy for my situation. Total waste of time. If you value dignity and professionalism, look elsewhere.
Great experience here thanks to my counselor Jorge went the extra mile for my success thank you steps !!!🙏🏽✌🏽
I haven’t heard from my therapist going on 5months I reach out no response. I also called the office straight to voicemail for the first time in 5months one time they answered last week for the first time In said they… would reach back out HAVENT heard from them once again
Writing this in hopes of helping someone before they choose this place to do their drug evaluation I went here on 3-6-2025 and had the worst experience /counselor (Roymond Insalaco )He began to tell me I was gonna have… to take a 12-week class. Without even evaluating me, I asked him why? he told me he saw my criminal history. I then ask him. Does he know the difference between going to jail and being convicted? I have never been convicted orfound guilty. I do not have any felonies. He then told me the reason he felt why I still would have to take this class he told me I could sell drugs when I leave. He then asked me will I take a drug test, and I assured him I sure would .He profiled me already. in his mind. I was this bad person before I even got there. I eventually asked for his manager Erid Otiz I explained to Her The conversation I just had with With (Raymond Insalaco) her staffshe only told me that he was new I'm guessing wasn't trained before I sat down. She then gave me another counselor. I say that to say this this place is set up for you to fail. I'm pretty sure within the last year. Everyone who came there to be evaluated had to take a 12-week program. These people are doing it for the money. How could you tell me? I have to take a 12-week CLASS when you have not even done my evaluation. Have yet to tell me why I have to take a 12 -week class.?????????????????????????????????? i'm still waiting for their answer.
HORRIBLE PLACE UNPROFESSIONAL
Malcolm Dyer is THE best counselor here at STEPS! So if you have to go there via the DMV/DOC then I really hope you get him as your counselor! You will get treated like a real person!
This place needs to be completely replaced with another counseling company. Alex is the only good counselor. No one else does their job correctly.
First of all let's start with the director Evie Rodriguez Or should i say DRAGON LADY!!! Extremely disrespectful for the line of work she is in she throws that director title around wayyyy to much looks at everyone as a… dollar sign instead of a human being. Treats people including the counselor as if they are trash on the street! I will say that Corey Burg is an amazing counselor he truly is there because he cares and wants to help people. Shows the utmost respect to everyone and treats people as they are humans not a dollar sign. It is sad that he is leaving because so many people could benefit from his counseling.
