You guys rock thanks for all the care and support everyday everybody in out patient
Re writting my review…valley saved my life. Before this I was very stigmatized by behavior hospitals but valley made my stay extremely comfortable. There’s no judgement the staff is amazing. Sweet, kind, and actually… pretty funny. They really did set me up for success, they provided any medications used in treatment to follow me home. They also scheduled an appointment for psychiatry for me so that I didn’t have to worry about it coming out of treatment. The first day or so might be difficult to get situated with meds but after that everything was smooth sailing. Nurses are great also!!! Absolutely loved them :)
If I can put 0 stars I would. This place was horrible, didn’t belong there to begin with, they tried to move me facilities without my consent & would not allow me to leave. I’m pregnant, not an addict or alcoholic. Be… careful what you sign.
I think this place saved my soul and my spirit I've tried other places but this was the best
They help you with whatever you need help with, they will find you a place to stay for a few weeks, they provide transportation, they provide food and help with your mental health, its a good place and they have soo… many resources that would help you in the long run
Kara is an amazing counselor. She genuinely listens, makes you feel heard and understood, and creates a space where you feel comfortable being completely honest. She’s compassionate, supportive, and has a way of helping… you see things from a different perspective without ever making you feel judged. I’m very grateful for the support and guidance she’s given me.
I came to Arizona on May 4th on May 5th I went to valley hospital and I'm still in IOP three months later this place is really changed my life I have accomplish more in those three months than I have in years thanks to… valley
Kara has such a huge and her intelligence really helps put things in perspective.she literally has kept me out of the inpatient because she has taught me grounding and skills that redirect my trauma and use my… experience as a learning tool and she truly has taught me how to redirect and stay positive. She always brings a positive genuine love to our groups that you can feel and it is nice to know there are true genuine humans on this earth. I am grateful for her and to be honest all of the staff here. They truly make me feel like I matter and have inspired me to have a love for humans as well as better understanding. Because of them all I am still alive and positive even through life's struggles.and I now would like to do peer support. She and all make this earth a better place. Love, Kat
Takes forever to discharge , they drag their feet on the process and the nurse straight up told me she’s too busy to do it and wait and have second shift do it … other than that they helped me get insurance through the… state so that was cool .
They lost very important life saving during these times meds, Im immuno compromised, they lost my biktarvy (HIV, Vyvanse, blood pressure, topomax, gabapentin..my express tank ank more. I need to file neglegence. They… also told me I could starve when said I had a spiritual diet and refused to feed me at times, they brought me in for fear of a dv situation , yet caused more fear. I will also file police report
Good food, can smoke 4 times a day, get cell phones every day, good groups and things to do.
If I could rate this review -5 stars I would. Me and my wife have been waiting for around 7 hours currently just for her blood work results to come back. I asked the front desk “what’s the process on those results?”… They replied saying they were done some time ago but they cant do anything about it because they’re just a nurse. 3 hours later and still nobody has came out to just tell us the results or even handled us our papers. The front desk lady was also rude to a lady in a patient transport carrier because she had to use the bathroom. She’s been crying in pain for the past 2 hours and the nurse said “YOU CANT WALK TO THE BATHROOM? YOU GONE HAVE TO WALK BECAUSE WE CANT HELP YOU” me and my girl just looked at each other with disgust.. The front desk is also encouraging people to leave with a sassy tone and joke about who leaves as soon as they leave with their coworkers.. If you value your time, health, insurance, money, anything that’s valuable to you? Don’t come.
Excellent care with great employees and aftercare. I've been to hospitals all around the country and this one is the best by far.
What a fantastic place . . . Very professional, discreet , and caring environment. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone seeking help for themselves or a loved one. Ashley Parsons is the director and her… open door policy is key to their success. Hailey Robinson , Jeremy Lamb , and the nursing staff are outstanding. Mary at the front reception desk wears many hats and is great at her job. 4 stars all the way.
I visit this facility often for my line of work. The front desk representative Leslie is very very rude and unapproachable. Overall the facility is great, but the greater/reception staff gives this place a terrible… look. She didn’t even make eye contact upon me waking up to the desk. She greeted me with “yeah?”. So unprofessional.
All I have to say is if you go in here don't plan on getting out for 2 weeks. Don't demand to be let out. Keep track of the employee's names. Just follow the program and do every activity daily. They'll soak up as much… money from you as possible. 3 cigs a day breakfast, lunch and dinner. Oh and if you ask for help with meds or if you need anything and they keep telling you to wait. DO NOT get irritated and start anything. Get the employee's name and make a personal note of it. There are still a few employee's here that care but very few
The staff were really nice and caring, transport was always readily available. My therapist was amazing and kind!
6 Month Update: I've been coming here to the outpatient program for 6 months now. I suffer from severe PTSD, abandonment issues, trust issues, drug addiction, etc. IDK where all the negative reviews come from. This… place goes above and beyond in every aspect. They house you, they feed you, they even do welfare checks. The staff truly care. I remember when Ashly was pulling double duty and had to take over as Therapist for the group I was in. I talked for weeks how the anniversary of my Mom's death was coming up on March 4th and how I never dealt with it sober. March 2nd of 2013 was the last time I talked to her. She died in her sleep 2 days later... What did Ashly do when she knew the anniversary was coming up? She took the time out of her day to do a grief ceremony which involved writing a letter and releasing balloons. She didn't have to do that. She CHOSE to do that. She also took the time to talk me off the ledge when I didn't think I could do it anymore w/o getting high... That's just 1 example of why I will recommend this place to anyone... My first review over 5 months ago was 5 stars and even to this day that rating hasn't changed...
Valley hospital is the best. Outpatient is the best one that I have ever been. Thanks to all the staff and theripests I have changed my my out look on life.
My Doctor was excellent and the wait was longer than I expected.
Valley hospital saved my life more times than I can count when I struggled with SUD! Between the staff, treatment & the food overall I give it an honest 5 stars!
Seeking help at this facility was one of the worst experiences of my life, leaving me with deep trauma and a paralyzing fear of ever asking for help again. What I experienced inside these walls was a profound violation… of trust, safety, and basic human dignity. When you are broken and vulnerable enough to ask for medical help, you deserve a safe sanctuary, respect, and professional care, not to be plunged into a living nightmare of humiliation, anxiety, and absolute neglect. The environment is entirely toxic, heavy with negativity, and deeply unsafe. I was trapped in rooms where I was actively humiliated and intimidated by other patients, only to be completely abandoned by the people paid to protect me. When I begged the floor tech for help, his only response was to tell me 'not to be a snitch.' From the clinical staff down to the cafeteria workers, the people here look down on you, mock your suffering, and treat you like you are less than human. Instead of receiving care, I was literally punished for seeking help. I left this place with worse nightmares and more anxiety than I have ever had in my life. Do not send your loved ones here if you care about their safety, their sanity, or their survival.
My time at the Valley Hospital gave me a positive outlook on life. It was God's timing. God is good, All the time. The staffs are knowledgeable and always prompt to assist you.

Valley Hospital has exceeded my expectations. I have been in many of these type facilities. When Entering these type of facilities my life is at a low point. Perhaps it's just "about time" or " long overdue" that I was successful in curbing my addiction. Whatever the case I have seen successes in areas I have never achieved in other facilities. In my opinion Valley has gone over and above in offering programs and an excellent staff to battle my issues. I would recommend people with similar problems give Valley a try.
Women's trauma therapy group 10/10 ages 18-80, very strong sense of sisterhood, and everyone is welcoming and non-judgmental. The staff is here for more than a paycheck, the staff and security genuinely care about our well beings'. I'm 66 days sober after using hard drugs
