Does Cigna pay for out-of-network luxury rehab?

Yes, on some plans. Open Access Plus, PPO and standard LocalPlus plans include out-of-network coverage at a higher cost share, while SureFit and individual Connect plans do not. Ask Cigna for the out-of-network deductible and the reimbursement basis in writing before admission.

Does Cigna cover therapy after a residential stay?

No. Evernorth Behavioral Health is a sister company inside The Cigna Group that runs the behavioral benefit for Cigna plans. A program in network with Evernorth is in the network Cigna members use for behavioral care, but you should still ask Cigna to state network status for your plan.
