My daughter had a wonderful experience in both a Newport Healthcare residential & IOP program. No facility will be a "cure" or "fix" but it gave her a foundation and kept her safe when I wasn't able to and in a… beautiful, comfortable environment. The school, counseling, and staff were all top tier. Going from the residential to their availble IOP also made continuity of care seamless. I've utilized the family zoom meetings, joined family/group sessions, and the app until life got too busy. There were a lot of resources available and I can't thank Newport enough for their amazing program in Southern CA.
Cannot express how much I appreciate this place. I was a past patient here for about 2 months and they seriously helped bring me out of a very low place. If you or someone you know needs help do not be afraid to reach… out. From what I know they take most types of insurances and the services they provide are especially great. Special shootout to Nancy, who was my primary therapist, and Rio who was one of the care coordinators during my time there. These two went above and beyond with Nancy ensuring that I felt well balanced in my mood and Rio doing the absolute most she could as a care coordinator without ever stepping any boundaries. Rio seriously became like a best friend to me, hope this message reaches the team. Love all you guys, even if I didn't mention you. I'm planning a trip with my girlfriend to go up to Universal in the summer if 2027 and plan to make a stop while im over there. Praying I get to see you all again! :)
I HIGHLY recommend Newport! I sent my 9 year old across the country to the CA location for “littles.” It was one of the harder things I have ever had to do. I told myself the entire flight that we would check out the… place, and turn around and all go home if I had any hesitations. I had searched online and found every negative review, but understood how that can be a polarizing view. I cried until I couldn’t breathe as we drove away. BUT it turned out to be the greatest decision!! That place is unbelievably legit. The staff are incredible and ON it! They kept us informed every step of the way…a lot of communication. My son has been home for almost 3 months now, and I often notice him using the skills he learned at Newport. Grateful is an understatement.❤️
