Evolutions Treatment Center – Fort Lauderdale

Florida shuffle, YES, 100%!!! This is the worst place possible you could ever send your loved one to. I know because they watched my son die, getting high right in front of them. When he first arrived there, I was told… by his "therapist," Leon, who was actually only an intern in social work, NOT counseling, that I would be allowed to have contact with my son while he was there. That was just one of many lies I was told. Leon would not even allow me to speak to my son on Christmas Day and couldn't even tell me if he received the Christmas present I sent to him. They also put a claim into insurance for over 300,000 dollars for his short 42-day stay, and then they didn't even have the decency to call me and inform me that my sweet boy had passed; I had to hear that from a police officer, because they were too busy covering themselves. The hottest place in hell is reserved for you!!! Please, please do not send your loved one here if you care about their well-being. My son never received the treatment he asked for and lost his life because of it!!! I beg you to please not send your loved ones here!!!!

"Terrible place for treatment!" Hazardous mold issue plagues this treatment center. Additionally, all the pictures are false. You will 95% of the time be housed with an inmate. Furthermore, If you can avoid this place,… avoid it at all costs. In closing, if you write a grievance for anything, they will retaliate by discharging you. Be prepared with transportation because they will not help you with it. You've been warned, I hope that you take the warning seriously. Seek treatment elsewhere! God bless whoever is reading this. Evolutions changed my life. I became a pastor while I am a client here. I feel so good with the staff and everyone else that runs the place. I speak with a lot of clients and I am a pastor and I got my degree while I… was in this facility. I suffered from depression because I lost my brother and the counseling I had and the therapist that I was seeing helped me through this very hard time in my life. It has been a very difficult time. I am 3 and a half years sober and I think if anyone needs addiction or mental health treatment they must surrender themselves to God and come to evolutions for help.

Well what can I say about evolutions treatment i can say my time there showed me how to be responsible,how to be Dedicated also how to have self worth it has changed me drastically for the better I would recommend… Evolution treatment center to anyone who is serious about their recovery thanks to the staff,the director Trent and my therapist for keeping me accountable to mr Beno and Mr David i appreciate your help deeply thanks again Evolutions I

I can't say enough good things about this treatment center. Graduating from this program is one of the biggest accomplishments of my life, and I truly believe it saved my life. From the moment I arrived, I was treated… with compassion, respect, and genuine care. The staff believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. They gave me the tools, support, and guidance I needed to rebuild my life and find hope again. The therapists, counselors, and everyone on the team created an environment where I felt safe to heal and grow. Recovery isn't easy, but having people who truly care made all the difference. Today I'm leaving stronger, healthier, and more confident about my future than I ever thought possible. I'm incredibly grateful for everything this program has done for me and for helping me become the person I am today.

This is not a good place! I did not receive the mental treatment I need and I feel like I’m worse after being here. This place made me feel mentally abused. There is no mental health treatment and I didn’t get any help… figuring out my next step from here. You spend more time waiting around vs clinical hours. They wake you up between 4 and 4:30 am, just so you can sit at the center with no personal phones and wait until clinical starts at 9am. They don’t allow you to have your phone and at times they will remove the center phones from the computer room so you won’t use it. The computers have passwords and they won’t allow you to use it, keeping you from figuring out a better place to go. They kept my personal phone from me on my last day there and I had no way to figure out a place to go. I was told my insurance covers this place but every Friday I was filled with anxiety waiting in a line to explain why I can’t pay rent. People relapse while they are here and when they leave here and some have even died after being in this program. If you are going through something mentally and need to step away for a bit you are yelled at and told to go to group. The groups only focus on substance use, usually just someone talking about their experience with drugs and alcohol and the very few times they mention mental health all they say is “take your meds”. I’m leaving this place worse than I came in and I only learned about different types of drugs and how to keep it to myself that I am not well. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

This treatment center has helped me strive for sobriety and has lead me to my recovery. They help you figure out how to stabalize your mental health. if you want to stay sober evolutions is the best place. It keeps me… sober to where I don't even have a craving for it anymore. 100% recommend.

The therapy here and therapists are so supportive. Evolution's works with you to make sure your treatment process is collaborative. The group therapy sessions are very informative and there are always diverse topics.… Evolutions has helped me become a better version of myself in every way possible.

They have an amazing director for the outpatient location who never forgets what it means to be on the other side of the treatment process. This is the first time I have ever been involved in my treatment to this extent. I have finally started to pay attentjon in the groups because they are engaging and I can relate to them. I came to evolutions a broken… human and now I can finally wake up and be proud of myself. Evolutions has helped me to actually apply myself and work towards a recovery first lifestyle. Evolutions is a program that is willing to work with you and will support you the entire way through. Evolutions has helped me stay sober. During my detox, my therapist Brad helped me identify my relapse triggers and helped me overcome them. He was able to ask me questions that made me think about my life and the direction I was going down.

Evolutions has been an overall amazing experience. The intake coordinator Jahzmen does so much to support my recovery and my therapist Peter has been the first therapist I have ever made progress with. Trent has helped… me get to appointments and help me overcome barriers that I would not have been able to overcome without his help. The morning inspirational group with David is always amazing and a great way to start the morning. Coming from a musical family, Tony's musical therapy has been superb and has helped me so much as the biggest thing in my life is music. I've got to include Theresa my nurse who has supported me every step of the way.

Evolution is a great program with very intelligent therapist who care and are here for our help and needs with mental health and substance abuse problems. I rate evolution 5 stars for the help I get here.

This place is amazing I have learned a lot about myself since I have been here. The therapists and group therapy they have here has helped a lot in my recovery. The constant reminder of how important it is to stay… clean, the living status is very rewarding. My therapist Peter has been an enormous help to me. I have learned how to care for my wellbeing. My psychiatric evaluation has helped me get on the right medications that finally are able to work for me and have me stable. I care about myself today a lot because of this program. I take my recovery serious because this program has taught me to take my recovery serious. Trent, the program director, has been extremely patient with me and has took the time to guide me in the right direction too.

Great place to start over with a new life. It works if you work it. And all the staff members are all so helpful.

The staff here at evolutions has been super respectful and supportive of my recovery journey. They are willing to be flexible and work with you once you are oriented to the program. My therapist Mariana is very outgoing… and helpful and has taught me a lot about myself. The groups are very engaging and I love the music therapy with David. My primary group has given me time to get to know myself and my peers and has helped me to not feel so alone struggling with this addiction. Evolutions has taught me how to be brave and hearing others has increased my bravery. I would definitely recommend Evolutions to anyone struggling with the disease of addiction or mental health issues. It truly is a program unlike any other I have been to.

I cannot say anything but positive things about evolutions. I have 4 months clean today and I feel very good. I been clean in the past and I’ve never felt like any other treatment center has helped me as much as this… one. They have taken very good care of me. It’s like they magically known what I needed, residential was awesome. And PHP has been great as well. The staff cares. They are sweet enough to help but also will help with a little “tough” love; by sharing their experience, strength and hope. You have many of them that are part of recovery. Bino and David have I believe about 54 years clean combined and they are here around us all the time. Trent is the program director and he is also in recovery and someone that inspires me to work in treatment. All I had to do was do things right according to God and everything has flowed. I’ve made a few mistakes but I soon reframed and I’m learning from them with their help and the help of my good therapist Tony who has 15 years clean. Great place to be at. It’s saving my life. I was homeless and without hope, everything is starting to come together again slowly and I most definitely have a tremendous amount of HOPE now. I’m part of our little “Celebrate Recovery/Bible Study” in the mornings where that’s really helped me grow my Faith. Thank God for Evolutions and GOD

The staff in the team have been so amazing. This is a life changing. Treatment Center everyone has been so welcoming and helpful. I feel like I’m at home the clinical team and staff have gone above and beyond to help me… in my needs the group have given me a lot of coping tools to help me. Also the meetings and housing is amazing. This is a really life-changing treatment center that I can recommend to anyone who really wants to get into recovery it is not just a Treatment Center. I was really skeptical about coming to another treatment center. But I can honestly say the staff here is very special and different. The staff here from Trent, the Director to Raul, the Bht is amazing here. There is… more than one tech that I have grown veryy close to Due to their love for the clients such as: Melissa Tanisha, Nika ,Faye ,Moe, Brandi, and Ricky that really care about us clients.learned so much about myself and about recovery throughout the therapy sessions and groups. I would advise anyone needing treatment to definitely check out Evolutions. It changed my life.

Evolutions, just like its name will help you evolve. When you are stuck and have nowhere else to turn, evolutions will be a home for you. You get inspired by the people who work here and the staff because they have been… through it. When you come you will be surprised by the amenities that they have. I have been to the full program, from Greg and Leon in detox to Trent, Tony, David, and Beno have truly were a big part of my recovery. Fernando and Brandi the techs in PHP and all of the staff are what make this program what it is. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling and feeling hopeless and doesn't believe they have another chance at life.
