Im Still Standing by Grace – Brooklyn Detox and Rehab Services

Im Still Standing by Grace – Brooklyn is listed as running detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

First of all I would like to say if you have the will power to get on a path of sobriety, sober living, having the mentality to want to be the best you YOU CAN BE than this is the place for you. I have been with this… program over a year & I also went through the inpatient program with ISSBG & I can & will say this was one of the best decisions of my life & Mrs.Pam (Pamela Dukes)is one of the most inspiring intellectually highly intelligent confident woman of GOD but still very humble & thoughtful caring person you will meet. She is the owner whom has been through addiction herself which really connects us with herself because she’s been in our shoes she really is so compassionate she’s a very strong willed woman & I think some people are intimidated by her presence but she is really the realest woman I have ever met in my life. She really does care about each & every one of her clients & it just resonates with me so well that the fact of her being a recovering addict caring so much to help others get to the place of being sober like this program absolutely positively teaches you the skills to become the best version of yourself being in sobriety. They literally teach you the tools it takes to learn this sober way of living while really working with you to find your true sober self again. I mean it genuinely was not just learning new things each & everyday but all the while having a great time I mean yes you will have some hard days but I promise you being in this place will help you. Another great thing about ISSBG is the food you get oh my goodness it’s better than being home I mean they feed you very very well Ms. Sherry usually is the cook & she also is in recovery she is an amazing person that helps in the program she knows pretty much all the answers to any questions you have. Also Adrian is amazing Mrs.Emma is great & the nurse Angela she’s so engaging she is super sweet so I’m just getting at how amazing all the people are in this program I mean I literally loved everyone all of the staff they all truly care about everyone it’s not just a job for them they really are there for you emotionally mentally & I just can’t say it enough I have been on another program before so I have experienced how different each place is in all aspects & standing ten toes down for ISSBG! Transfer here! Start your journey of sobriety now with the best program you could choose I’m telling you you won’t regret it & you will learn so much that will help you in your endeavors. I’m still standing by grace~

You cannot come here with the intentions of using again! This program has saved countless lives since Mrs. Dukes opened her door. Mrs. Dukes opened her door due to her own life experiences and will help ANYONE, ANYONE… in true need!! I say this with my chest out because many people have tried to destroy By Grace because they were not ready to work their recovery and live an healthy serene lifestyle and went against all the rules to recovery. I didn't understand a whole lot when I first come to ISSBG I gave things a chance because I knew in my heart I had to change my life or I was gonna die!! Change, discipline, managing my medication, learning to do things on a timely schedule, SAVED MY LIFE, I REPEAT, SAVED MY LIFE!! After 20 years of addiction to prescription pills, alcohol and Marijuana. I wouldn't change anything about By Grace. The staff are really dedicated to us in every way they can be. Insurance does not cover our meals or hygiene materials, this lady spends thousands of dollars each week providing each client with healthy balanced meals and will take her last to help you with other things your in need of. It upsets me when I see people put her down and assassinate her character and her program. Mrs. Pamela Dukes is my angel in disguise and so are her staff. My family would have buried me months ago if I had not given By Grace a fighting chance. ISSBG will always and forever be my closest family members besides my family at home. By the grace of God I am alive and well back with my family and children, sober, clean, a productive member of society and closer to God more than ever and could never repay her for how she helped give me my life back.. Please give recovery a chance, im living proof with hundreds of others that got blessed with a second chance to live!! 🙏❤️

WOW, I’M SEEING A LOT OF NEGATIVE COMMENTS BUT MISS PAM IS GOD SENT BACK IN 2023 I WAS THERE AND SHE TORE ME DOWN AND BUILT ME BACK UP AND WHEN I COMPLETED THAT PROGRAM, I STAY CLEAN FOR AT LEAST FIVE YEARS UNTIL I GOT… COMFORTABLE AND STOPPED DOING WHAT I HAD TO DO BUTT I WILL BE RETURNING TO MISS PAM As soon as I get my appointments and everything together, I will be going back after my relapse so all the negative comments is probably demons or Satan because it worked for me Miss Pam is God sent. Love you, Miss Pam.❤️

My wife Sarah and I really love and appreciate this place and everything the staff and the owners did for us here. This place gave Sarah and I a new chance In life and if it wasn't for our devotion to God and the help… this place offered us I wouldn't of learned the tools that we both have today to stay sober. Because of standing by grace it gave me the strength to stay clean one day at a time and now I'm standing tall and by grace of God I'm still clean today. Love you all!!

Ms . Pam had my fiance and I signed the dotted line for every signature Mark to enroll for PRP services at Ruby's place then a couple weeks later we were discharged for something trivial. Then we find out later on that… someone was setting people up for PRP services and then th ey were being discharged couple weeks later cuz the IOP program couldn't bill because the PRP program bill first. I don't know if that's the case but I do know I got discharged for something really silly and this is the only thing I can think of. Also one time I was in another program and when I was discharged from detox it took them 4 days to bring methadone I was really sick. I have a real issue too because when my fiance went to detox at standing of Grace or whatever saving Grace he was told by Adrian that if your girl would have came with you y'all would have had to turn around and walk away. So I've had multiple bad instances and it's with them and please pay attention to what you sign because I signed paperwork without her letting us fill anything out but signature line and now I need to call my insurance to close open authorizations ...be careful people.dont get scammed

⁵⁵ I recommend this program to anyone that hit rock bottom no I didn't like it at first it was to damn strict but as i got that monkey off my back i realized i was cheating my self yes you have to buy your own… toiletries and drinks besides water lol but in the real world who gonna take care of you but you the program is super strict and you go to church no matter what denomination you are they feed you give you passes to go out to take care personal business the program has its own laundry mat wher you wash your clothes the food is a1 im talking crab legs turkey wings not no sandwich bags Hot COOKED MEALS 3 TIMES A DAY BULEE DAT ...BUT its not about that its about getting back to reality ...the way it teaches you IN DEPTH spiritual structure and discipline all while detoxing your temple ..you also have free time to call your love ones and p but most of all you get to get your life back together ❤️ im a recovering addict and when you leave you dont want to leave if you know what I mean .. i highly recommend this place .... to anyone seeking help ... wam bam thank you Mrs Pam she is A real Godly woman inside out .Who ever dont like it is just a i wanna rock right now person and just using the program it works if you work it thanks for letting me share ....I recommend this program to anyone that thinks they're a functional addict ... and that's the way the way the cookie crumbles..!

I've been with by grace since 2015 and they have saved my life more times then I can count. Taking me into the inpatient part and giving me the help I so badly needed, to helping me see I am worth living a good life and… just because I've made bad choices doesn't mean im a bad person. Nurse angie is literally a godsend. She works so hard and does it with a smile on her face. Her greeting us in the morning everytime im there is always so warm, kind and caring. It's like night and day from the way things used to be. Mrs. Pam don't play when it comes to recovery she takes it as serious as it really is but her heart is bigger then the problem which is what makes her the perfect person to go to if you want the advice and direction you NEED and NOT what uou want to hear. She sugarcoat nothing but if you're serious about your recovery she's standing right next to you, not behind you because she's not pushing you into anything youre not ready for, and not in front of you because no 1 person is better then the other. She walks beside you so you never have to look far when u need someone. So anyone out there struggling pr.considering to get clean and start moving forward THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO COME. They have outpatient methadone, they inpatient treatment and mental health help if its needed. Not only do I highly recommend by grace/still standing by grace on my opinion there's no other options. The staff is amazing shoutout to the counselors and all the staff that work together daily even when the rowdy and disrespectful people come in they handle it and I promise you that person won't be coming back with that same attitude lol. I just want to thank by grace for being there for me through the good and the bad, and for helping me make the bad good. Im.mot just saying this...I would have died a long time ago . From me, my kids and the rest of my family we truly thank you for everything that you did to help me save my life. With all of my heart I LOVE YOU AND AM FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR YOU. I also want to add that when I was going through the most difficult time in my I have ever went through in my life, losing my mom, Mrs. Pam calling to check on me. And gave me a hug the first time she saw me after it happened. So tha yoy direction.n

I recently met Ms. Pam at Volunteers of America while seeking resources, and I was immediately touched by her spirit. In the middle of her own responsibilities, she took the time to check on us, make calls, arrange… help, and extend kindness with no expectation in return. She showed the kind of care you rarely see: warm, steady, prayerful, yet also firm and clear-minded about boundaries. What stood out most was her presence. She carries herself with grace and strength. She treats people with dignity and respect, even when their lives are complicated. Her compassion doesn’t come from a place of pity, it comes from seeing people as human beings worthy of love and care. I’ve seen negative reviews about her online, and I understand that people bring their own perspectives and pain into the process. But my experience of her was the complete opposite. I see a woman who works tirelessly, who leads by example, and who gives of herself in ways that are rare. Thank you, Ms. Pam, for showing Christ’s love in action. I want you to know that I see you, I feel you, and I appreciate you. May God continue to strengthen and bless you as you pour into others.

Ok so I have never takin the time to leave or look at these reviews. I came up from Florida 2.5 years ago to finally get clean from addiction and regain control of my life. I landed at by grace with my wife. By grace… not only taught me how to stay clean from drugs but also how to manage my very broken life and very broken marriage! The staff while stern but very knowledgeable helped me work threw a long list of issues i piled up while I was using. The counseling the classes the self help I can go on all day about all the good I got from this program and till this day 2.5 years later I continue to get from this program. As for all the petty pokes towards the program they are clearly from people that were not ready to get clean I seen and continue to see it daily! When you go to a program because you have no were else to go and your not quit ready to give it all up of course your guna have a unpleasant experience so you blame the program. This program works it WILL change your life BIG thanks to Pamela Dukes and all the great staff on both sides of the street!!😇 And always shout out to the cook Miss Sherri with out her I still be bones!

Staff way disrespectful. Especially the man that sits at the desk with his cane. Doesn’t know how to speak to people without having a disrespectful attitude. I feel bad for these women and men that are at this site… because I know they are being treated like children. UPDATE YOUR STAFF TO PEOPLE WHO REALLY CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS THAT ARE THERE!!!! I CANT TAKE THIS PLACE SERIOUS!.

I have been a client at by grace for over 15 years. Since Pam only owned the one building. As soon as I needed real help after a debilitating surgery, there was no help at all. Pam hung up the phone on me multiple… times, the nurse was also very unprofessional and no help at all. I give them zero stars. I wouldn't recommend this program to my dog!

Yes she kicked me out on Christmas Eve because, after I have been there and followed program rules to a tee, once they realize they spent all the money they can get from you they find a reason to get you out to get the… next helpless victim who wants a better life and thinks that’s what they are getting but instead, they only are interested how much $$$$$$$$$ they can get from you

You know I do have to say I was a client of Miss Pamela Dukes and at first I could not stand how she talked to me because she gives that straightforward approach but then I realized later that she was only giving me… strength to conquer my addiction I have now been clean for four years off of all drugs and or chemicals and I always to miss Dukes she gave me the tools I needed to make it in life and I greatly appreciate what she done. Thank you so much for what you have done for me and I know you're going to continue to do it for many many many more people thank you and God bless

A Great place to learn tools to help you to stay free from alcohol and drugs. The program is very structured and it's exactly what I needed when I was a client there. My life has changed .I've applied the information… that was given to me from knowledgeable instructors ,who were once in the same situation. I'm still standing by grace is an ideal place to recover and to regain a life that was intended for you.

I have nothing but great things to say about this program. Mrs. Pam. Showed me what is to be the Man, Husband and Father. I was called to be. Mrs.Pam help me identify my selfish negative behaviors I developed over the… years from drug use she has a stern, no foolish approach towards our disease of addiction cause she really cares about who you really are, not what you have become. I really needed her tuff approach cause I was selfish and hurting inside and God use her to save me as well as other lives I've seen and heard for myself may God keep his hand on her and the business. This program has my vote. Try it and be transformed to who you really suppose to be.. Amen 🙏

I can say proudly that the day I entered those doors , I was an complete reck and none of my friends or family didn’t want anything to do with me. Thanks to I’m Still Standing By Grace I make an complete 180 degree change. Now my family respects me and I no longer want to use or abuse any mental medication prescribed to me. The program may have been hard but it saved my life. I was given a second chance And for that I'm grateful. Thanks Ms Pam :)

By grace has truly been a blessing in my life! If you really want it’s at by grace! It seems to me that the only people with negative feed back about Pam or the program are people that aren’t doing the right thing ! Me… I have been clean for awhile and Pamela Dukes and By grace helped me get where I’m at today

I've earned a 23day detox certificate because the owner wouldn't allow me to reestablish my medical assistant and EBT card because she didn't have my card. You have to pay for your own toliet paper buy soda for everyone… if you want to have any refreshment with your meal. Also while the creditation people walked in we was told to hurry up and act as if we were reading and doing group. Pamela Dukes is very disrespectful and staff. I have proof, just send some undercover addict's there and that place will be shut down.Bad business for Baltimore City and Counsel!!! Have anyone completed that program successfully? If so who?!!

This place needs to be shut down. The owner Pamela Dukes is a disgusting horrible person. They make you buy your own toilet paper. The owner takes the clients EBT cards and uses the benefits for her own personal gain.… The owner curses her staff & clients. That place is very Disfunctional
