Harbor – Bowling Green Detox and Rehab Services
The provision listed at Harbor – Bowling Green is partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

This place sucks. Andrea is horrible. Prescribed me a med I was allergic to. Wrote me a script 36 days after previous script, so I was out of meds for 6 days. The incompetence here is staggering. The people who answer… phones just send you to nurses line knowing your going to get a voicemail. This place should go out of business.
The lady at the front desk is always extremely rude and they only care about money. They do not care about your wellbeing, even if it is an emergency. They will ignore your needs and act like they don’t care about you
Dr. Angie is the best this office and the staff are amazing
Staff is rude at desk....the other staff are way to nosey and dip into your life way to much....they make appts change them and dont tell....this place is horrible
Sort of appalled by the rudeness of some people here. It’s a mix of amazing and helpful people but idk who I just got off the phone with but she was extremely dismissive, rude, and accusatory in tone.
I never had support like this before. It's nice.
I have been going to Harbor behavioral health for psychiatric care and I even started out going there for therapy. It has been the most life-changing and wonderful/painful/tear filled/confusing, but ultimately hopeful… experience I have ever had. They are changing my life. Sarah Bailey was my psychiatrist right after my psychosis and she was with me for the past two years. She helped me learn to walk and was there for me every time I had a crisis. She and Nikki were my cheerleaders through the toughest time in my life. Alexya Romo was the counselor that I found there and she is still my counselor to this day. If it wasn’t for these people, I don’t think I’d be where I am today. And yeah, I can’t speak for everyone but the team I got were all-stars. Fast forward to today: a woman named Mallory took Nikki’s place and she is very responsive, kind, and caring. I don’t know her well but I know she cares about her job. My new psychiatrist is Angela and we are still learning about each other and I think she is doing a good job listening to me and connecting with me. I think she has healthy and strong boundaries as a practitioner. Which makes me think she is trustworthy and that is a great place to start. Thanks guys.
I went to them for awhile and the communication with the clients is horrible. Firstly I started off with one therapist, she had left and no one from harbor had contacted me to get me with a new therapist. So when I… called to schedule an apt and when they asked my therapists name and I said *blank* the person told me "there is no one here with that name" and I was like "okay... Ive been seeing *blank* for the past several months. Then after they dug a little more they discovered that she is no longer with the company. This could have been avoided by contacting all of *blank's* clients. At the same time I was also seeing a psychiatrist. I was seeing her for a year. When she left the company I had to meet with someone else. I had a telehealth appt with her. I sat on the call for 1 hour and even called the office several times to confirm that she was in. I was told that she is just running behind and she will be on the call shortly. 1 hour later I called the office a 3rd time and then was informed that she was also on the call waiting for me and that I "no showed". When I didn't show up to my apt, why was there no attempt to contact me? I had called the office 3 times stating that I'm on the call and waiting for my Dr. Turns out we had 2 different links. I was then told I will have to reschedule my appointment. I said "okay sure I'm fine with that but then can we get my prescription set to hold me over until my next apt?" I was told no because since its my first meeting with this Dr I have to speak with her first, understandable but at the same time I was at the apt. I made several attempts to contact my Dr and she made zero attempts to contact me. So after all that the office tried to ask me to reschedule several times and I told them I want to end my relationship because the communication between the office and clients is seriously lacking. Better communication and organization is strongly needed here. I was going to leave silently without leaving this long review but then I got a letter in the mail from harbor say that THEY are ending the relationship with ME d/t the fact that I no showed several of my appointments. Which is 100% false. No accountability is being taken here. Go somewhere else to get your mental health taken care of. Harbor is just one massive headache!
The staff is great and there helpful and friendly and Dr. Zick it the best psychiatrist!
Too hard to get ahold of the dr when I call it's a headache to get done cause they don't call back in time it's been two days ago I'm still waiting for phone call back to get my meds why is that? Makes me wanna walk… away from the meds and not take em and stay untreated I guess til you make the call and do your job I guess
It's been 3 or 4 months since Sara Bailey left they still haven't sent me to a new therapist and the new case Manager they put me with I don't like
My psych provider left and didn’t send my meds in. The nurse scheduled me telehealth with someone new since that’s what I’ve always done and the day of they called to cancel me because I need to be in person. This was a… couple hours before my appointment while I’m at work and can’t leave. No provider will send the meds in until seeing me even though I’ve been on them for over a year. Absolutely WILD they won’t fill until I can be seen because of THEIR several mistakes.
Therapist is amazing and awesome staff are definitely not rude. Atleast not to me or my dad n d mom.
They don't care about people with mental disabilities. They are there for a paycheck about it . When you try and call nobody return s then pure bullshit . If it was them having an emergency you betcha they would be… helped first . Anne McDonald is the best one there.......
The one lady that works the desk gaslights patients and the last doctor I had was condescending and wouldn’t listen to anything I had to say about my mental health. He even stopped meds I was on the first meeting I had… with him, and only meeting, because he felt like they weren’t working. Like how is he supposed to know it’s the first appointment with him. My mental health has gone down the gutter so bad since I switched to him and he took away needed meds. Not to mention when I asked about possibly being on the spectrum of autism he literally told me word for word, “your job wouldn’t be promoting you to a shift manager if you had autism.” He’s literally an ableist working with people with disabilities due to mental health. It’s disgusting 10/10 wouldn’t recommend coming back or advising people to come here for their health needs. You won’t actually get any help from this place just more trauma and your health will decline. I really hope this place gets investigated…
I’m giving this place a 1 star review, however my doctor Sara Bailey gets 5 stars! She is the only Dr that has helped me and actually shows she cares. I’m so sad to hear that Harbor will not be having her work there… anymore. This is going to cause a negative impact on YOUR FACILITY. Not only will you guys be losing patients but most importantly you will be losing a doctor who truly cares about her patients and her job. I’m extremely disappointed with how harbor has handled things and I don’t recommend this place at all, but I do recommend her! She’s the best person that I’ve encountered. I will be following her to her next workplace. This place doesn’t stand a chance with out her. Thank you Dr. Sara Bailey for showing me compassion, kindness, and empathy when working with me. I’m so grateful to have found someone like you!! Your work doesn’t go unnoticed! Harbor good luck because you’re going to need it!
Mental health isn't their top priority.....so I highly recommend not even wasting your time or effort and just go elsewhere. The place is so bad....even the therapist don't stay.
After 7 yrs of going, they are withholding my medication refills because my nurse is "very busy and will get to me when she can."
I've been going here for years and I've had no issues. Always willing to work with the patient to get the treatment needed. ADHD
The front desk is terrible and they continue to cancel appointments then I’ve waited months for. Do not go here. If you are mentally unwell and want to get better, DO NOT GO HERE. You will be worse
I personally don’t like this facility. I work in healthcare and I know things come up. However, when I am waiting 15-20 minutes not once but twice for a telehealth appointment (with no communication as to whether or not… they’re going to join) that’s just unprofessional. Something else that’s unprofessional is talking in a condescending and passive aggressive manner when “apologizing”. Patients rely on you to get the medicine and treatment they direly need. It’s quite aggravating to receive 5+ appointment reminder calls throughout the week only to have to wait an unreasonable amount of time on MULTIPLE occasions.
Worst place ever for mental health care. Doctors can't keep appointments and they keep you waiting when they do show, 15 to 20 mins late. They want you to be held accountable, practically punish you when you can't keep… appointments but they don't expect the same treatment in return. All this place is, is an insurance payday scam. They don't care about anyone but themselves.
This place is a joke & do not prioritize your mental health at all. The last time I was able to see a provider IN PERSON was December 8th and it is now July 31st. I’ve gotten canceled on twice, it’s months in advance to… see a provider, i’ve gone to their mental health urgent care because it has been so long since i was able to see a provider, i’m on their cancellation wait list, never get any calls & check in weekly for cancellations. Do not waste your time.
Gave me meds that changed my life and then one day started lying to me about the meds being sent and they weren’t. Over a year on these meds and suddenly, nope. You don’t need these anymore.
I'm having a super dooper time. Thanks Harbor! 😁😁😁
They truly care.
I have been coming here for 2 years and it's great. I had an issue with Kroger Pharmacy. And these guys solved it. May God bless you guys.
Best psych and PCP I've been to in a while. They really listen to you and your needs
