Excelsior Wellness Center – Spokane Address, Location and Contact Information
The facility address is 3754 West Indian Trail Road, Spokane, Washington, 99208. The city lies within Spokane County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Some of the worst medical care I have NEVER recieved.
I love that my child can receive mental health and primary care in the same organization. Her WISe team is beyond amazing! She loves working with Christina Walden for therapy and Lexis Simmons as a peer. Corrine is also… excellent to work with and so easy to communicate with. Dr. Repsold works amazing with my daughter and respects her transgender identity, and cares for her accordingly. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is because of the medication manager Alexia Smith. I began the process of a formal complaint due to her gaslighting during the intake appointment. She called and talked me out of the complaint and SEEMED to listened when I clarified on some issues that she gaslit us on. Aside from the occasional eye roll and a demeanor like she would rather be anywhere else, she did continue to work with us without the gaslighting until my child's last appointment. We were scheduled for an updated autism assessment for my daughter to see if her level of care remains the same since her last evaluation (at 10 years old, now 17) in order assess needs and resources for a smooth transition into adulthood. Not only did she put us in a position to justify the updated assessment, she also proceeded to tell us that she wasn't going to allow Chistna Walden to join for the assessment. The main reasons we even wanted Christina there is because of her experience working with my child, as well as the history of gaslighting from Alexia. Needless to say, I cancelled the appointment to protect my child from an appointment that could mess up her future due to a practitioner that refuses to take us seriously. I sincerely worry about Alexia's other patients, as I find it hard to believe that we are the only ones who have experienced this behavior form her. I'm glad to hear that she will be leaving Excelsior in November, and I hope that Excelsior's new medication management partnership with a new organization will work better with those who need to transfer for med management. As for the other services, thank you for being wonderful organization 💜
I think it's wild that Lifepoint doesn't consider that being concussed with infections impacts a job, or that bed bugs impact the right/ability to show up at jobs, or even the fires impacting the ability to keep that… job. It's not professional to penalize others during emergent situations, and those penalties include being told to not stay overnight at other places when staff refused/didn't have basic items for hygiene. The person telling me over text isn't a staff or management from lifepoint directly, it's the therapist who is a group manager. It's not professional for me to be penalized when I was told just last minute about the bed bug issue rapidly deteriorating, then told protocols, staff said I had a few weeks to prepare, then they move that same day without allowing anyone to prepare items or clean their rooms of food before transferring to somewhere during this bed bug issue. It's been weeks, and I can't access important documents built for my treatment plans. There are a lot of other things that make it hard just to be in this program, but to penalize me for being in emergent situations is rude. If not unprofessional. These three things together ruined my program treatment plans, and my ability to maintain a job, as where I was gonna leave in winter, from the Lifepoint program. Graduating hopefully.
I went in for a routine physical and discussed health concerns with my doctor. I was shocked to later be charged for an additional office visit simply because I asked health-related questions during my physical. Isn’t… discussing your health and concerns the entire point of a physical? I contacted the office to discuss the charge and was told someone would speak with the office manager and get back to me. I never received a call from the office manager. I actually really liked my doctor, which makes this even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the billing practices and complete lack of follow-up left me feeling like money was more important than patient care. The whole experience felt misleading and left a terrible impression. I’ll be looking for a new doctor.
They found a lump on my mammogram. Dr.’s review / response “:looks reassuring continue as planned at our last appointment. “ I have found out through Inland imaging that they had found a lump and that I had a referral… for a yet again another mammogram. No message from my doctor or letter Two weeks later I get this…. (See attachment pic)
I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk staff member with the long dark hair. She came across as rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Instead of feeling welcomed or assisted, I felt brushed off… and inconvenienced for asking basic questions. Customer service at the front desk sets the tone for the entire experience, and unfortunately this interaction left a very negative impression.
It’s really sad to see all these negative reviews, this place has been helping me in every way shape, and form. Not only are they SO kind and sweet, they are there to help you. Thank you to ALL of you.
I have been waiting 7 months for a call for the med management psychiatrist for my son from the referral from his care team. That's ridiculous wait time in itself. They FINALY called today around 3:30 pm after months of… waiting. When the receptionist called she was short when answering questions about the providers credentials and how the appointment would look. She didn't even give the providers name to check out credentials. She also was giving times for appointments while my child has school ( it's noted in the chart she ignored the notes) . She got more annoyed when I stated I am available after 4:00 after he gets outta school. She was so rude I decided that I don't think it would be a productive and welcoming environment to go check in to that very person. I told her I would not be scheduling due to her attitude and unprofessionalism. This place should be welcoming not draining to make an appointment or belittled because you ask normal questions. I would give a ZERO STARS if available.
Love the counciers that are so nice
I was told either my mental health crisis was serious enough that I should go to intake care or that I would have to wait 3 weeks until I could see someone to manage my meds. I did not have the ability or financial… stability to go to intake care, so I ended up going 3 weeks before I was able to see someone while I was actively harming myself and suicidal. I look back on this now and get more upset the more I think about it. They never offered to escalate my situation and figure out a way for me to be seen sooner. I sought help because I was in crisis and I did not feel safe. I ended up spending those 3 weeks trying not to kill myself, calling suicide hotline several times because at least they cared. I would not recommend this place unless all you need is a regular refill on your script that you've been established with for years. I would also like to add if you need med management, they require you to go in to their office just to do a zoom call there. I asked if I could do this call from home, and they said no. This is one of the worst setups I've seen and I do not feel cared about.
UPDATE 2/9/26: My counselor and peer counselor through Excelsior are good people, but the psychiatrist I was referred to was able to do more harm to my life in 40 minutes than any professional I have seen in the past 5… years. I had to call 3 times to get a callback from the Practice Manager, who claimed she only got one of my three voicemails. She then promised to get back to me a week later. Two weeks later, I finally got in contact with her again. I was not offered any meaningful resolution. It was suggested that I see Alexia again to have a "fresh start" now that she has my medical history. The fact that she made such egregious decisions without my medical history is reason enough for this to be a terrible suggestion. Alexia breaks all the rules of conventional psychiatry in the worst ways: She decides what is treated and how, ignores or denies your lived experience (and that of your loved ones), doesn't care about evaluations, and has worsened my relationship with psychiatry as a whole. The fact that Excelsior chooses to maintain a professional relationship with her is embarrassing. ORIGINAL: My second (and last) appointment with Alexia Smith was as bad as the first. She claimed she didn't stop my Adderall, she just "didn't continue it". She refused to take responsibility for anything, from not being accessible on MyChart to not being contacted by my Peer Counselor to ending my medication and not bothering to check in for 2 months. She informed me that my getting an ADHD evaluation "doesn't matter" because she decided I don't need Adderall. My partner of 18 years was there to note that getting put on Adderall massively improved my depression and anxiety symptoms along with my ADHD symptoms. Alexia indicated that she knew me better in 20 minutes than my partner before trying to up the medication that is causing me constant fatigue and making me sleep 12-15 hours a day and suggesting I take a previously discontinued medication that caused hyperprolactinimea. She clearly doesn't care. After some research, I understand why: She lives in Michigan and has just amassed certification in numerous states. She's a call center psychiatrist. She's clearly just trying to get as many billable hours as she can fit into a calendar day. I don't know what's going on here, but the administration and behind-the-scenes stuff is completely breaking down. Individual providers can be amazing (like my therapist and, so far, my peer counselor), but that doesn't make up for the rest. I have seen my medication manager, Alexia Smith, one time. Six weeks ago, because the secretary scheduled me on a day that Alexia isn't there and no one noticed for two weeks. She started me on a medication I had to stop due to exclusively negative side effects; upped my dose of a medication in a way that requires me to pick up two separate prescriptions, two weeks apart, and after two weeks of phone calls, that isn't fixed; and she decided to take me off the Adderall I've been on for 5 years until she gets "proof" that I've been diagnosed with ADHD from a previous provider -- only she forgot to tell her nurse to provide me with ROIs for that, so I had to request those myself, separately. I really don't see med managers for them to take away the tools I need to function and then for me to do all the administrative parts of their jobs for them. Along with that, I get 2-4 reminder calls for each appointment, half of which just tell me to reschedule if I have COVID symptoms -- in separate calls, for TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS, like they don't even know what's happening (they clearly don't). Combine that with the fact that I have to drive up there in person so they can take my blood pressure, heart rate, and weight -all of which can be taken at home- just so they can sit me in a room to do a telehealth appointment with a provider who is CONTRACTED OUT? This is an absolute mess. It would be a mess if I was informed ahead of time, but it was all sprung on me when I arrived there.
You now have to go in person to fill out the questionnaire for a VIRTUAL visit 😕 The newest provider, Alexia Smith, does not think patients should have access to their mental health records. The previous providers have… all released their chart notes on MyChart for the last couple years, but this lady said she feels that it would make us dangerous to ourselves or others. She says I’m stable, I feel great BTW, yet we aren’t allowed to see her assessment due to risk of harm. How does that even go in the same sentence 😆
I was extremely disappointed by how rude the woman (long brown hair, glasses) treated me today. I’ll go somewhere else next time. Cheers.
Absolutely horrific! Got my mental health evaluation results back and wow! Horribly inaccurate filled with fallacies, and false statements that i supposedly made. Absolutely unbelievable. I live a normal and very… fruitful life, the only reason I had to visit in the first place was because I had got into a little bit of trouble and needed to get a psych evaluation done. The lady LISA FAILLERS, who did it, is a quack. She put things in my report that were so far off of even being close to true about my personal life that I wondered if she was getting paid to make me look bad. Things revolving around my extremely supportive family, that she listed as “unsupportive alcoholics.” Along with something about my parents being together, who have been separated for nearly 15 years. There was just a ton of small things, that weren’t even close to accurate. All ofcourse to make me look bad. Not quite sure what she was on, but I think she needs an evaluation herself. I definitely do not reccomend this lady or the practice as a whole. They’re trying to stick us all on meds and put people in intense therapy. It’s kinda scary, honestly. She does look like one of the duck people from the old twilight zone episode.lol. Scary times we’re living in 😅
Great place for all!
