BMC OBAT in Boston – Roxbury Detox and Rehab Services

BMC OBAT in Boston – Roxbury provides detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Supervised withdrawal comes first, with the greatest danger in the opening seventy-two hours. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. What suits one person will not suit another, so ask directly.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. What suits one person will not suit another, so ask directly. It is reasonable to ask how progress is reviewed and by whom.

I had a very positive experience with the front desk at Boston Medical Center, especially with Kelsey, who assisted me over the phone. She was incredibly patient, thoughtful, and professional throughout the entire… conversation. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about helping patients, and her kindness and professionalism truly stood out. Boston Medical Center is fortunate to have someone like Kelsey on their team. Thank you for your excellent service!

I truly appreciate the Services and Professional Care that I received from Staff, Nurses and Doctors at BMC Family Medicine over the years. Dr. Keri Sewell, Nurse Practioner Katherine Chambers and the rest of the Staff… members have been on point, on time and in season. They truly get the job done from start to finish. Thank you all for your invaluable service commitment to me and my community. ☆☆☆☆☆

Will waste your time with unnecessary apts. wasted 3 months of my time waiting on a simple form while running back and forth for useless visits, and they let me know the week of the deadline (which i told them about)… that i would need to see a specialist for the form. A specialist that books months in advance. The people at the front desk aren’t the brightest, and the psychiatry team is a joke.

Ever since I joined the START program, I have been met with some fantastic and supportive people who genuinely care about helping me and others live a life of dignity. From Kristin, Megan H, Meghan, Thomasina, Jerry,… Rachel, Lauren, Joseli, Justin, and the fantastic Dr. Baldwin. You achieve and learn as long as you are willing to put the effort. Supportive of ALL who want help at whatever stage someone is at!

On the phone and at the front desk they misled me about the cost of my appointment. They billed me over $300 without informing me of the cost when I asked. I would have never taken this appointment had I known the… co-pay. Now I am dealing with collections.

It almost takes an entire year to get scheduled to see a primary care doctor. I’ve been cancelled on three times because provider is sick, can’t make it and won’t be in. Always last minute too with the cancellations.… This last time no one even contacted me about being canceled. I only realized I was after checking my MyChart. Now I call again today, lady tells me the provider wasn’t going to be in that day and that I’m on the list of being rescheduled but there’s no time on when that will happen. Still no solution. I already know no one is going to give me a call back and if they do it’s going to be booked out very far. When I should be able to get a sooner appointment out of the inconvenience of them canceling on me last minute with no call to tell me.

This place is the worst . I left my previous doctor’s office to transfer to this location because I wasn’t getting the proper care I deserved nor was my voice being heard. I’ve experienced the same thing but much worse… . They do not care bout patients and make you wait months for paper work to be filled out. They even have the nerve to lose my paper work and still have me waiting for paperwork to be filled out. I even came here on my day off to have paperwork filled out and they have me sitting here like I don’t matter. This doctor’s office make me feel hopeless.

My primary care Dr is Dr. Stephanie Charles. Today was my first time seeing her. I could go on and on about the people that helped me today. Tamara and Dr Charles are two class act women. Very professional, kind and… detailed. You can’t get anything by these women. Dr. Charles was so detailed in her questions, I’ve never had a Dr treat a physical with such care and detail. TOP OF THE LINE CARE. Thank you so much for making this experience incredible.

This is probably one of the worst facility in the Boston area. Each time I have gone to this hospital, they have lost my test samples. I’ve made numerous complaints which have gone unheard and un-acknowledged. I had my… appointment yesterday and they called today stating once again that my lab testing was canceled. This has occurred more than 3-4x in the past 6 months. This is absolutely ridiculous. People have to coordinate appointments around busy work schedule and school and this facility simply can never get it right. Now here I am re-scheduled to come back in and hope they do not lose the next sample as well. Just save yourself the trouble and find a different hospital- any hospital, or clinic. I had better luck at a smaller clinic.

I'm deleting my previous 1-star review after switching to a new primary care. My new doctor – Dr. Patel, is so amazing, I almost don't want to put her in the review for fear it will be harder to book appointments once… you all find out how good she is! Thank you for your care!

Very disappointed. I am probably the longest active patient they have. I have been going to Fam Med for me and my 20 year old daughter and 17 year old son's health care since 1997 6 months after it opened. Unfortunately… I am looking for another clinic for me and my daughter. F.M had always been the reason why I kept returning to BMC even after figuring out that there were so many other better options in Boston. When I found out they were moving from the main building I thought it would be a upgrade. Sadly it looks like a welfare office. A bathroom is almost in the waiting area with the door open so everyone can see the dirty conditions. There are 2 random ppl behind a clear plexy glass divider. The patient exam room look like stark prison cells. Such a step down. I went once for my sons physical but have put off my daughters and mine for a year now because I'm so disappointed.

Very poor service. You will be seen by your doctor 40 to 90 min after your appointment time, If you are lucky. That happens everytime. Also when tried to book an appointment it always takes two weeks wait time to get… it. I am changing my doctor somewhere else.
