Northstar Recovery Center – West Springfield

It was my first time here, all the staff were nice, caring, attentive and helped me through so much. The structure of groups was great and the building itself is very nice. I recommend it to anyone looking for a… detox/recovery program.

I’m incredibly grateful for my experience at Northstar. From the very beginning, the staff made me feel welcome and safe, helping me get started in the program quickly when I needed it most. The atmosphere was calm and… supportive—just what I needed during such a vulnerable time. My clinician, Karen, was compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly invested in my recovery. She helped me dig deep and find the tools to not only stay sober but grow stronger. The support from both peers and staff was constant and genuine, and it didn’t stop after I completed the program—Northstar has continued to be a source of strength and encouragement well beyond graduation. I’m now 6 months sober, and I couldn’t have done it without the foundation and support I received here. Thank you, Northstar!

This place is very clean and accommodating! The staff is very friendly, lovint and kind. They are knowledgeable in mental health and addiction recovery center. I was able to overcome childhood and adult trauma here. God… is doing great things here!

My name is Ken. I came to Northstar so vulnerable and scared. I knew I was at a life-changing crossroad. Northstar showed me I mattered and that I was worthy of a beautiful life. Each and every counselor was so caring… and educated me and gave me tools to succeed that I carry with me every day. I am Patty his wife and I cannot express enough, how grateful I am also to Northstar. Not only did they care about my husband‘s recovery, but they cared about me as well. And even though my husband is done with treatment there, he gets to go to alumni night Meetings still And the support of that fellowship is so special. Northstar is a blessing.

Being a parent of an addict is something I never thought would be my life. My child has been struggling with addiction for close to 20 years. He’s been in and out of detox without success. This last time after detox he… was sent to North Star. This was the best thing that could have happened! North Star is like a family to him and it finally clicked, he is living a sober life. Northstar has truly been a godsend. The staff is super friendly and takes time to learn everyone's name. They say good morning and make you feel welcomed. The groups are fantastic. They also offer yoga and sound healing… groups. They explore different styles of recovery so that everyone can find what works for them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for help. There is a path to recovery and they will help you find yours.
