Arrived at 3:05 for my 3:20 appt. Doors were locked.
Negative stars if possible. What kind of medical urgent care doesn't know if and when a doctor is showing up? Are you a joke of a business? Your unprofessional work model is pathetic and is extremely disrespectful to… the patients desperately needing URGENT care. Not... oh idk if we can see y'all... management should be fired.
The woman at the front desk said hello, “ID and Insurance” I give her both and wait quite a long time. I’m very sick so I’m not paying attention. Then I notice she’s playing on her phone and hasn’t done anything on the… computer. I can hardly stand and she hasn’t said a word. She notices me staring and clicks a few buttons then says the computer is running slow. Wait some more. She’s playing on her phone again. She finally checks me in and even though I’m the only patient in the building it takes an hour to be seen. The room they bring me to isn’t even ready? Doctor hardly spoke to me as to treatment. The whole time I’ve been waiting I’m suffocated by the essential oil they have in a diffuser. Migraine trigger. Left feeling worse than when I came in.
My daughter and I went to this location today 07/18/26 at about 4:30pm and had no clue that they close at 5pm. My daughter wasn't feeling too well and needed to be checked out. So we walked through the door (was never… greeted) the lobby was empty. We went to speak to the receptionist and she had the worse attitude ever. She was being impatient and rude as my daughter was speaking with her. It definitely made us feel like we weren't welcome. I'm not sure if it was because the receptionist was ready to get off and maybe we went in too late or she just don't care to work on a Saturday. Once my daughter went to the back to be seen everyone else were really polite and caring. I came to this same location for myself in January and everyone was very respectful and kind..maybe we just came on a bad day. It doesn't cost to be kind to people.
Great service and professional
Tried to pay out of pocket. Was told that they won't se me without a referral.
First off I’m a CNA so I understand the importance of honesty when receiving medical attention and today I went to Ochsner‘s urgent care because of an UTI that wouldn’t go away I specifically said that I’m NOT sexually… active, I’ve no reason to lie and this only my second time having a UTI, now after taking the urine test. The nurse named Alyssa Landry came in to speak with me and started to talk about how I need to urinate after sex and kept going on about the importance of what to do after sex when she was done speaking she left the room and her and the other nurses began laughing it was a Very uncomfortable feeling
Called in and the person I was talking to was very rude
Dr. Cabrera MD, was fantastic. Came into the exam room, introduced himself and had GREAT beside manner. He passed NO judgment on beliefs and what tests were wanted and not wanted. Unfortunately 20 days later, Dr.… Cabrera was not on shift that day. A woman came in the exam room, DID NOT Introduce herself. Asked questions. PASSED JUDGEMENT on beliefs of which test were not wanted. Sent to another location for an x-ray, not making us aware that the cost of the x-ray this time was not covered in the $170 visit, like it was the last time. To have to pay another $108.32 at another LCMC establishment. She did not listen to the fact that some of the meds that were already perscribed, yet unused, from the last perscription, she perscribed again. Thanks for that, Bell Pitts FNP. Yeah, finally found out her name from the Mychart app. It's safe to say that if this FNP is there on duty ,should we need to go back to urgent care, we WON'T be going to this one. Again I would like to say how GREAT, Dr. Cabrera was and if I should need to go there again, I truly hope he is the Doctor on duty.
To the lady at the receptionist desk lovely lady made my check in easy. To dr. Vu lovely doctor made me feel very comfortable. To the Indian male nurse whose name starts with an I , you’re dead wrong and you know you’re… wrong . I go to urgent care yesterday get settled in wait my time then this male nurse comes out he looks at me then looks at the only other Hispanic person in the room and asks if we want our appointment done together ? Why ?why not ask the other white person there why look at two Hispanic people and think yeah they should share an appointment ?I have never heard of sharing appointments with strangers ,isn’t that a violation of hippa? Again I don’t speak Spanish and I do not know this Hispanic man in the waiting room with me. I say no I would like separate sessions okay the man goes in before me and I’m waiting Later that same male nurse comes to get me he says my name wrong and I let him know the correct pronunciation and he basically gives the vibe of okay whatever I don’t care Made my visit extremely uncomfortable This is the first time I’ve had a negative experience here usually the people are very kind and warm this was very disappointing dealing with racial profiling coming from another person of color. Would still recommend coming here just not dealing that specific male nurse
Got the heath care I need. Took a few minutes but not to bad.
What has happened to the CARE in health care? The staff seemed checked out, unhappy and uncaring. Pretty awful energy and experience when I'm suffering and seeking support. I hope mgmt. invests in the well-being of… their staff asap ... bc the staff was obviously in as much psychological pain as I was physically.
Here goes...had an appointment yesterday for 9:40am..Sat in the waiting room until 11:30..finally got to back room..Sat there until 12:15 never got to see the doctor I left....made another appointment for today this… time 9:20..Sat in the waiting room until 11:00..finally go to the back room..Doctor comes in at 11:25..they should never use the word URGENT..All I had was a pulled muscle on my right side. I know people are sick and there is wait time. I'm always patient, don't complain but after this experience not sure if I would come back here. They apologized but.........
It takes forever even with an appointment. ...when they actually choose to honor an appointment. The receptionist usually chooses to ignore appointments and do first come first serve. The receptionist was more concerned… about smacking on food than taking care of people trying to check in. When I asked how far behind they were running, she began to complain to people in the waiting room that I asked her that. Unprofessional.
Does anyone know if you do pregnancy ultrasounds?
This place staff is friendly and very helpful.
Nurse Lana went above and beyond to make me comfortable and ensured I understood my diagnoses.
I was seen very quickly. Medical professionals at all levels. Medical aid was great, keep up the good services.
Dr Hector Cabrera was so nice & took the time to help me
Dr Cabrera was amazing! I had to get an injection in my shoulder and he did it blind and today I am pain-free.
I had never been to an urgent care for myself before, but yesterday I was sure I need to go. I am an LCMC patient so I went to the LCmc Urgent Care onW. Esplanade in Kenner. I was the only one in the waiting room so I… checked in right away. I had a bit of a wait..but not extreme. Several others came in after me and a couple of them were seen before me..but I'm sure there was a reason. The aide that first brought me in the room was very nice, took my pulse, blood pressure and temp. Then she said the nurse would be in son...and a short time later she was. She seemed very caring, asked several questions, told me I had shingles ( even though I had all 3 shingles vaccines ) and ordered some mods. She also told me if I needed anything later to call them. The place was very clean...and I would not hesitate to go there again. I was pleasantly surprised.
When I was finally able to get my Zoom meeting, it all went well and I got what I needed. But the Zoom meeting set up was difficult, and the only reason I was able to get it to work is that I have experience with Zoom… from work. Your average person would probably not have been able to connect.
