Aegis Treatment Centers LLC – Pasadena

My son has been an addict since he was 15 years old. He is now just about 31 years old and he has finally entered into an inpatient residential rehabilitation facility. He credits the methadone program and especially… the counseling he received at Aegis to finally turn his thoughts toward sobriety. He recently told me that he is on this sobriety journey for himself. He felt unmotivated with no forward projectors. He said it sounds selfish but he had to do it for himself, but he sees it will relieve my and my wife’s stress and anxiety, give him motivation, help him a good uncle to his new nephew, engage with family and not have to retreat to his bedroom to use. He stopped all drugs with the exception of pot a few months before entering rehab to stop pot usage and learn how to live and thrive sober. Thank you AEGIS.

there counseling does not help at all!! They say they can help help me but it’s not right I’m done with aegis nothing but stress never failed a drug test and they want to act like if I’m doing so bad over a consoling… session ? I’m here to get clean off drugs not talk about my life problems with strangers that don’t truly care . I’m not going back I was at 18 milligrams and now I’m quitting my self without there help it’s been nothing but stress at aegis I talked to the doctor like 3 times about tapering off !!! I felt stuck at aegis if u don’t talk to a doctor your stuck there if u miss one counseling session they take away the methidones that are helping u not aegis … aegis is wrong . Never again going to Pasadena so much more I can say about this place

This place saved my life! Everyone who works there truly cares about what happens to you, I have had some seriously horrible experiences in the past with other clinics, there just aren't enough words for me to express… just how grateful I am for this clinic! So if your struggling it's alright, give aegis a chance, most importantly give yourself a chance!

I would like to thank all of the Wonder staff at Aegis Pasadena, they have helped me in so many ways! First off I would like to thank Susan (hopefully spelling her name correctly) who was the main manager, there when I… got there 10 years ago - because if it literally wasn't for her, I would possibly still be out in the streets or worse. idk if she knows this but she literally changed my life that day. I came at a bad time that day of intake and I wouldn't have been able to dose then because of me coming so late from taking 3 buses to get there, So I was basically going to "check out" and go back to the streets to my addiction and possibly never come back again after I realized I wasn't going to be able to dose then. To make a long story short - I was able to go to the El Monte Clinic that day and dose there and come back to the Pasadena clinic So I'm forever thankful to Susan for that day!also for all the chances you gave me! Thank you Susan once again 🙏 🙏 🙏 For all your help in my journey! I also want to thank Neelam, for bringing light and smiles to Aegis, especially when places like these can get "dark" at times because of where us patients are coming from. So thank you Neelam!!! 🙏 Thank you to all my counselors Jessica & Nadia and the rest I've had there - thank you as well! Because of you guys I actually like counseling now lol unlike other places outside of there that I didn't like lol. So You guys made me feel comfortable and actually listened and helped me in so many ways thanks you! Jabari the manager there - thank you man! I wanted to say that (Jabari) didn't make me feel like just another "number" there. He TRULY cares and has tons of wisdom, and is compassionate as well, he truly wants the best for us as they all do there! I've been to other clinics and let me tell you guys that this is by far the BEST one I've been too! I highly recommend it if you know or have anyone that's out there!! I will forever recommend this place to the people that want to get clean and change their life around, this is the place! Give them a call! The staff here are great at what they do, they have gone above and beyond to make sure my needs have been met, they have given me a little bit of what it feels like to be human again, and if your an addict like me....… then that's no small thing!

I've struggled with opioids, I got in to Aegis treatment center in Pasadena and I can tell you that the staff is Great and awesome. I've been going to Aegis since 2016 and have been opiate free, and as the staff is very… flexible friendly and the most important they have no judgment and have compassion. They are fast efficient clean offices and monthly counseling and you can even see the doctor when necessary. I really want to recommend Aegis for your total rehabilitation. I recently had an issue with my coverage and almost was going to lose my methadone treatment and was going crazy, but I called the office and spoke to office manager Jabari and Nelam said calm down will take care of it, and so they got involved and the billing department as well and fixed everything. And thanks to the great service everyone there deserves a 100% shout-out to all the staff from receptionist to administration and dispensing nurses, also the counselors and Dr as well because they all work in unison together to give you the best outcome for your treatment. Just do and follow the program, it works if you work it, then it's Worth it. At Aegis you are not alone!!!! I recommend Aegis treatment centers anytime. Thank you Aegis Pasadena for all you do. I’ve been coming to Aegis in Pasadena for over a year now with my Husband, and truly I wish I could give 100 stars! ❤️ We moved back to LA from Hawaii a little over a year ago and from the moment I did my research on… Methadone clinics in the LA area and found Aegis, I made the first call and spoke with Neelam, who was SOOO kind and helpful on our initial first call, she told us exactly what we would need to bring in from our clinic in HI that we were transferring from to make our transfer to Aegis as easy and smooth as possible. I’m a Healthcare Provider as well, and even though there’s a couple other decent Methadone clínics in the LA area, the moment I found Aegis online and read the reviews, did my research and of course made that first call..I knew that Aegis Pasadena was going to be the one for us. They truly make the transition so easy for you. Staying clean is hard enough, but everyone at Aegis makes it so easy to STAY CLEAN! From the good vibes and energy of our first time walking into the clinic, to meeting with the physicians, all of the AMAZING nurses (Ginger) ❤️ and of course Jabari! Everyone here is so kind, helpful, understanding, and truly is a huge part of the reason my Husband and I are 2+ years clean and sober now! We do counseling with our seperate counselors monthly which honestly, the fact they offer that is such a great reason to choose Aegis. They truly care about you and care about you staying Clean and Sober. We both absolutely LOVE our counselors and we actually really enjoy coming in to see everyone, and even though we moved and there’s a closer facility to our new home, we will never switch because Aegis Pasadena is home to us. ❤️ THANK YOU so much to everyone that has played a part in our Recovery, Aegis in Pasadena has truly helped change our lives and will always offer a helping hand when you need it and welcome you in with a smile. The so called Doctor is not a good person much less a doctor. And I'm filling a complaint against him for not following his own clinics grievance reporting policy. I believe it's just another case of a man, (who is also… a doctor) feeling threatened when a woman wants to make informed decisions and ask questions. I did and he felt as if i was challenging his authority and went ballistic. Not a great bed side manner to put it very lightly, and to be truthful (which i always try to be at this point in my life, at least whenever possible) well he flat out made me feel uncomfortable and scared to be in the room alone with him. I wont be going back there ever. .

I love aegis in Pasadena great people an they care about what your going threw if you take it like you are told you should have no problem getting sober .Don't abuse your meds ! This place has help me be clean for three… years an I'm starting a taper soon to start getting off methadone

I've been going to Aegis Pasadena for 5 years now, struggling to get clean off and on, so that part is my own doing. The rest is an honest review of their treatment policies. Aegis requires weekly 50 minute-long… counseling sessions if your insurance will cover it. You max out at 6 take homes per year, no matter whether you have many more clean tests. They want you to come in to dose at least weekly. If you relapse, results can be punitive. On more than one occasion I've had half my take-homes restricted. Mistakes in the lab can happen, though it's rare. It did happen to me and the timing was sus. I'll leave it at that. Ginger, Neelam and Rachel are all sweet and kind. All the nurses are great. I've only been treated with the utmost of respect at the clinic. The counselors are hit and miss, and they seem to have a bit of a revolving door for them. Matthew is really cool and one of the best counselors I've had.

I LOVE this place, my health insurance takes & my sessions with my counselor is by phone 1x per week for an hour. they really are extrenely nice people that work here & I love attending this methadone clinic! I plan to… become a clinic counselor someday myself actually, if i ever stop taking methadone. t stars 5 stars 5 stars from me, also it is clean bug i have never seen a janitor here so that freaks me out a bit.

This place helped me get my life back on track. I’ve heard so many negative things about methadone clinics and I am so happy that I didn’t listen to them. The staff here is amazing, friendly and caring. Making me feel… like a person instead of an addict.

They are SO UN ORGANIZED!! They are lazy and do not know how to communicate with the doctors when it comes to transfers and courtesy doses. It has taken them two days to get ahold of a doctor and they will keep u… waiting for meds honestly they don't care
