Elijahs House Treatment Center – Pasadena

Such a great experience being here! I’m so glad I had the opportunity to find a place like this it was truly such a wonderful time being there. The staff are all great and they care so much about you and your… individualized treatment planning. This is a lovely place to go and to relax while healing. I couldn’t have experienced the care I was given at Elijah’s House anywhere else! Thank you guys for all of your love and support in my journey!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can genuinely say Elijah’s House is a special place. From the moment you walk in, you can tell the staff truly cares about the people who come through their doors. They treat everyone with respect, compassion,… and understanding, and they really take the time to help people feel supported. It doesn’t feel like just another treatment center. It feels like a place where people actually care about seeing you succeed. I have a lot of respect for what they’re doing at Elijah’s House and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for help and a fresh start.

Coming from Baltimore md, Elijah's House was a totally different atmosphere. The family and staff did a great job they loved me back to life, and for that I'm eternally greatfull. I love these people !.

This was such a great establishment when I did my treatment here last year. I had no problems with my stay here. The staff was informative, friendly, and very helpful. The facility is clean & comfortable. The programs… were very helpful in my recovery and I am grateful I was able to get the help I needed here! Highly recommended

This is a wonderful facility! They’re LGBTQIA friendly and the staff are very kind and care a lot about their clientele. Defensively go here if you need help. I totally recommend it!

When my insurance was unable to find a center for me to detox, I scrambled trying to find a place with a bed that I could afford. I chose to roll the dice on Elijah's. I am so happy that I did! They worked with me on… pricing, could take me the same day I called, and very friendly/kind during the phone interview. I ended up spending 7-days at this center and I can honestly say this place is magical. I have spent time at other detox centers and in my mind, none of them compare to this place. I've never been treated with such dignity and kindness especially when I wasn't feeling like I deserved it. ALL staff was nice, flexible and accommodating. There's a backyard for cigarettes whenever you want one, there's a tv with a bunch of streaming services, and the staff cooks delicious inhouse meals for breakfast, lunch, & dinner (plus loose snacks anytime you're hungry). Super grateful for this place and all who dwell within!

A year ago today I walked through those big doors of Elijah's House and began my road to a better life. At first glance you immediately breathe a sigh of relief the house is huge, clean and in a very nice and quiet… neighborhood. I was warmly welcomed in with open arms by staff and residents alike. They are very efficient and pay attention to every detail whether it be your paper work, medications, food needs, you name it they are on it(within the rules of coarse lol). The beds were comfortable I slept very well. I thought the programs curriculum was very well put together it really brought me closer to myself and taught me so much that it would take a book to tell. The staff and residents became a family to me still today. If you refuse to be a hospital atmosphere like I did this is the place for you. It's really like your at your home away from home. Food is what it is, I liked just about everything but thats me and some people complained all the time, not everyone's palate is the same so they change it up a lot which I like. If you truly trust and buy into the program it works cause once you walk out those doors your choices are yours alone again and with the tools they give you, you will confidently start making the right ones. Thank you so much Elijah's House for helping me save my own life.

This placed saved my life!! I was pregnant, homeless, without insurance, and not a dollar to my name and Pam flew me out to California from Illinois to come to Elijahs house. Pam let me stay there for free, went the… extra mile to go buy me protein shakes, fruit, gatorade when I was so sick detoxing and couldn't eat. The house was beautiful, I got a private bedroom and bathroom, homecooked meals, one on one with a therapist and counselors, more personal treatment than i've ever received in the past. Forever grateful for this place, Sena Pam Jasmine Jen, all the people who were a part in the beginning of my recovery process. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Starting and staying on the road to recovery can be a challenge. An addiction to drugs or alcohol is not easily overcome and recovery often requires constant vigilance as you practice and strengthen the coping skills… you learned in treatment. Elijah’s House is an excellent place for recovery the staff is excellent very helpful for all your needs to To guide you into sobriety again the counselors are great Jennifer and David are Such knowledgeable counselors they helped me through a lot and still continue to help me through this as out patient. Amy an nurses are great they’re on top of things Then you got Pam and Jasmine such great people they are there for you In any way they can or any situation you can always count on them and then you got Sena She is kind of a big deal there LOL amazing person helps you in anyway she can Which is great and Elijah’s house is amazing I would strongly recommend it to anybody that needs help to getting clean and sober.

A loved one came here in 2012 and now in 2020 he is still sober. The love he recieved from James McCoy (staff member) was unforgettable. James treated him like family and stuck through it after a relapse. Not a day goes… by that I'm not thankful for james and how he changed so many lives.Treatment is what you make it, they are there to help those who want to help themselves. Thank you so much Shafter and James. I'll never forget you James love you brother.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences.

This place is a scam!!! If you're rich or your insurance w/ pay they will take as much as they can. If you're poor they will find a lower price for you. Sounds good if you're poor, but you're screwed if you are well… off. It's ran by 2 (used to be 3 but one died from a DRUG OVERDOSE!!!) so they do everything they can to make as much as they can! Patients/residents have been left unsupervised for weeks @ a time, drug tests/ alcohol tests are not done often enough, and there is no medical staff onsite for people going through withdrawals. And DO NOT fall for the Dr. Drew endorsement. He visited the place ONCE. That's it. He doesn't recommend this place or endorse it, the brothers just like putting his picture up to try to give themselves credibility.

Very nice sober living and the Directors Shafter and Katy are great!
