Groups Recover Together – Connersville

I never did well with the whole group thing until now. Groups gives me everything I need to recover today!

I look forward to seeing and hearing from my group every week. My counselor is very helpful. I have Tia now but I used to have Kendra and I really miss her she was great! I'm sure Tia will be too I have only had her for… 2 weeks. I really love Susie our Nurse Practitioner that we see every month!! She really listens to me and goes out of her way to really help others. She goes above and beyond she has the biggest heart and truly cares about our well-being!!!

Group has helped me tremendously the last couple of years. I would be so lost and still doing the worst like drugs and more of it wasn't for my groups. I can open up and talk and let me be me and it helps me so so much… mentally and physically. Groups has saved my life

I tried to stop using with suboxyn a few times, in and out of jail and rehabs I would think I had it under control every time I got out of rehab, that I finally understood it and I could do it this time for my kids and… family. But I wouldn’t last long at all. People, places and things sounded so easy to understand and you really don’t imagine the impact of just those things are in your recovery. I didn’t last long and was right back in jail/prison/ or rehab! I didn’t have any idea just how bad I really was. And 20 years flew by like nothing. Finally I knew I had to do it for myself! And it took a few times back and forth, putting my loved ones through hell w me. Today I can say that I have stopped counting how long I have been clean from herion and have absolutely zero desire ever for it. I have lost so many family members and friends to heroin and prison, institutions. I finally just didn’t have any desire for it after so long of chasing it and letting everyone down, making excuses, overdoing daily. Doing things that I never thought I would degrade myself to do for anything in life. I was a very judgmental person to anyone who did drugs for so many years. I took the wrong path and destroyed so many years that can never be taken back and loosing everyone I loved. I honestly have no idea how I am still breathing, GOD is the only thing that makes sense, I’m definitely here for a reason, I try every single day to be better than I was yesterday and continue my sobriety. So no matter how bad things get. Only you can change it. And yes , you definitely can.

Group says helped me more than I ever thought it would, some boxing actually helped the form of autism that I have to wear I can actually talk to people and be in public places blend in which is something I've never… done my whole life or been able to do my whole life, and hearing from other people in group I feel like I'm not the only one anymore because until now I've always just been pushed aside or ignored so for me it's amazing

Groups has dramatically impacted my life! If you aren’t an addict or don’t love one or live with one then you can’t possibly understand the importance of not only your physical health but your mental health! And to have… such great relationships with people whom know first hand and supports your journey is truly a wonderful experience and feeling. For those that are serious about their sobriety and self love it’s truly helpful and probably the best choice you’ve made yet however there are those that aren’t truly honest to themselves nor to others and it becomes an obvious thing. If your at the point of being honest and serious about recovery the. It can and will change your life and outlook on certain situations and to know your judged daily by others until you go to your meeting every week that’s the one place where you feel free of judgement. Office staff are really nice as long as your honest and respectful and have the want and willingness to show up sometimes hard to reach bc of how the phones are set up but it’s gotten way better from what it was a year ago! Everyone can benefit from joining one meeting and what an impact just one meeting can make on someone!

I love the group, I'm not from the area tho. I don't understand it all but they seem to be getting it together. If they fix the issue of "technology failure" it's a good thing. The people are awesome but technology… fails once a month. So if you're like me n have mental health issues then you gotta have patience but they'll get better.

I’m leaving a new review to update as I’ve now been a part of the Groups program for over 6 years. I would highly recommend this program for anyone who is stuck in active addiction. It’s great for anyone who has tried… other options and fell back into addiction. It’s great for someone who wants to recover, but still needs to work, parent, attend school, etc.. It’s great for someone who wants to recover, but lacks insurance. It’s super affordable and flexible! There are many different class times for virtual meetings! I’m sure they have something available to fit your schedule! Don’t hesitate/procrastinate…make the call and start your recovery! You deserve it!!!!🫶🏻 I would recommend Groups to anyone wanting a better life. They helped me more than I can even put into words.

Good way to walk off pain pills prescribed by physicians. They always check on clients. Weekly meetings help more than anything.

Group's has literary SAVED MY LIFE! With a mixture I'm sure of the medication as well as the meetings we r to attend I've actually been doing the right things and focusing on so much of my future in the most positive… ways imaginable! If u would have told me this is where I'd be at a year ago there's no way possible I could have believed u! However, here I am doing the damn thing! I am actually finally able to b proud of not only my accomplishments but also the PERSON that I am becoming! I couldn't be more greatful or thankful as I am for this group of individuals who really do care about our recovery our relapses and our continued want to fight! Thanks to Spring & Matt for being on my team I know there's several other people to thank but idk who they r. Please don't ever stop chasing ur desires! Just keep fighting it will happen! I would definitely recommend groups to anyone who want to be in recovery it definitely helped me I am very grateful.

I was on heroin and any other drug that i could get my hands on for several years and when I finally got the courage to make the call groups was the nicest and respectful and professional as you can imagine. Thank you… groups for being there for and understanding my sickness and helping me to understand as well. Suboxone and groups has saved my life.

I thought I would share a few things about groups that has helped me. Whenever you need them they're there they don't ignore you they don't leave you hanging they're there. If it wasn't for groups I would probably be… laying in a coffin somewhere Six Feet Under. I have been sober for 3 years now. I've had a lot of tragedy in my life a lot of trauma in my life and a lot of death in my life. Several of those deaths in my family was due to addiction I think the Lord and groups that I wasn't one of them. I'm one of them people that have been never been good being around a lot of people I just feel very uncomfortable I get panic attacks sometimes and groups has helped me a lot with that and has helped me to come to reality with myself and see that I'm not such a bad person after all. And that it is possible to turn your life around for the good and for the good of others. We have group every week and whether I'm having a good week A bad week or whatever the case may be they still want to hear about it and that makes me feel good to know that they want to know how I'm doing like I said whether it's good or bad. I'm not one of them people that are good and sober living for one because I have a son I have grandchildren and I have a mother and my mother is very sick and she needs me around she can't have me living somewhere in a bubble where there's not really anyone using around me and if it wasn't for groups I wouldn't be able to be taken care of my mother right now sober. I in no way shape or form and putting sober living down because it is great for some people I'm just saying it didn't work for me so I hope no one takes this out of context. Another great thing about groups is if you need them they're there no matter what day it is what time it is they're there they don't keep you hanging. I would recommend groups to anyone that is trying to stay clean because it is a great way to live your life sober and someone have your back at all times and be able to talk about if you're wanting to use or if you had used groups don't put you down for that they know you're going to make mistakes and I think that's one of the biggest and greatest things about groups they don't put no one down or look down on anyone I think the Lord and groups everyday that I wake up sober and every day that I wake up because if it wasn't for groups like I said I know I wouldn't be here right now. Groups really works with you to get your medicine regulated. Recovery only works if you want to be sober. I do not like talking in front of others. So it can be really intimidating at first. You don't have to share and… can just listen. But after a while you will start to feel comfortable. Also, it actually helps to hear other people's experiences. I would recommend then and I often do. My life is so much better today.

They are amazing and it was the best decision I made calling them

This program has really helped me to live as ligit as I possibly can, and the APP makes getting to my group sessions, seeing a doctor, doing my drug test all in one place.

I have tried MANY many times to stay in recovery and be successful only to relapse. Groups is more than medication driven. It's a touchstone for me. Weekly meetings to share my experiences and success and failures. I… have been sober for 4 years with the help of Groups. My life has done a 180 and it is all thanks to Groups.

I have been a member of Groups for almost 2 years and have never missed a meeting because it is a important part of keeping me sober. My counselor is great and I appreciate all of the staff also.

2 years in....many team members have come through....but my current staff is rocking! They do care....and they keep ya accountable. Good people with a good service
