This is the absolute worst rehab I've ever been to. Do not go here with high expectations, you work out of packets, the director is very rude, staff members gossip about clients and there's no confidentiality. They milk… your insurance even though it says a 45 day program and tell you 30 days. Food is great and phenomenal. Don't recommend if you smoke or drink caffeine, none of which is allowed. HIPPA is not a priority there. Good luck!!! Worst rehab I've ever experienced. I've been to 3 rehabs. This was the worst experience I've ever had.
I went to treatment center as self help. Was going well for a couple weeks, then Dr. Rogne said she would refill mental health medication and she dropped the ball. Would not return phone calls. Why be so mean? What did… I do wrong to you? Thanks for seriously not caring. I get it, itsa mean world. Good job Fallon
Mental health care is serious. Nevada has a very serious mental health care crisis. We also have a high “sewerslide” (self cancelation) rate. New Frontier is a joke when it comes to mental health care. Nobody’s perfect,… people miss appts or have to cancel, and I had FIVE appts a week, sometimes, multiple appts in one day, so that’s a increased chance for mix ups, they’ve even cancelled on me because of “staff training” , but to terminate a patients care, just wipe them off the schedule without saying anything to the patient? I’ve even been told by the Dr there, (Dr Duncan) that it’s difficult to treat someone with so many complex mental disorders. So thanks New Frontier for making me know and feel, there is no help for me.
The staff truly cares for you and they help you build your program. I went twice once by court. once on my own after jail. I now have 5.6 years clean. If you truly want to be sober. This place will be the place that… will give you the foundation to do it. You just got to be willing to put the effort into it. But, if you don't then don't go here don't waste there time. The food is awesome. Thank you guys for saving my life.
Fine place with a couple nice staff…I had a lot of therapy there and what i continuously noticed was that nobody will listen to what you have to say, they make their long statements and you’re out. If you’re going to be… a therapist do it for the passion not the money. The new one, Melinda doesn’t understand mental illnesses much and obviously only goes by the book without any heart put into it. I’ve been trying to better myself but the staff lied to me about helping me on that journey, it all seemed one sided and cash grabbing…
We go here for food every Monday awesome people awesome help with food
I recently completed a 30 day residential treatment program at New Frontier. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and program. The days were well structured and the staff was professional and respectful.… The food was great and the beds were comfortable. If you truly want to get clean and sober and are willing to put in a little effort you wont be disappointed.
As the children of someone dealing with addiction, we reached out to this facility per recommendations. Getting everything done to submit was a fiasco, but we took hours of work off to complete what we needed to do on… our end to get our mom on the waitlist. Upon completion, had a brief conversation and were told we’d probably not be accepted. Wish we would have known this prior. We will be letting the people who recommended this facility to stop with referrals and will cut the referrals we have already got in motion from our church group. When dealing with addiction, the last thing you want is for places like this to play games and waste your time.
Myself, my wife and daughter were in a bit of a pickle BUT KELSEY HURLBURT (ICM DIRECTOR) WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL IN HELPING US!!! WE OWE HER ALOT AND LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUING TO WORK WITH HER.. GREAT PEOPLE OVER… THERE THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING 🙂🙂🙂
New Frontier is a safe place to heal and the staff is incredibly supportive! It works if you work it!
Customer service is as bad as it can get. Therapists are great, but the front desk staff is lazy, inattentive, uncompassionate and just plain rude. The finance department will not honor any finance negotiations agreed… upon. After months, you will receive an enormous bill, with the threat to send it to collections.
NFTC really works if you want it to so give it a chance let this place work for you
Love this place! Met some great people here!
It works if you work it. It's an amazing corner stone for recovery if recovery is your desire. One may find it to be more of a negative experience though if the person is not willing to work the program and be… successful in living an honest program
Excellent services and a wonderful place to begin your recovery
I love this place. I am really shy but I love my social worker and therapist. The director of New Frontier is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She really cares about people.
Ron Marrujo is a great therapist.
